The food was great as usual !! The staff was very friendly -Big Jack was our waiter, quiet, offered his service politely -didnt bother us - BUT To us the whole restaurant experience is complete if all of the above includes Clean and Smell free bathroom - and 9 out of 10 Golden Corral Restaurant s have a bad sewer smell but the rooms them selves are clean This Golden Corral off Hwy 59 in Marshall - floors were dirty, there was dirt in the corners,trash can was dirty - stained from the outside and dirty inside- without a flap so I could see all the dirty papers .The baby station was filthy -made you wonder what the kitchen look like - Made me completely forget the good food you just ate.

The people were fine but the food was cold, it was all unappealing. When I complained about the bake potato being cold and that it was so cold the butter wouldnt even melt, the waitress went to the manager. The manager came out and offered to bring me a fresh potato and thanked me for bringing it to her attention. The staff and the manager are the only reason I even gave them one star.

The worst golden coral I have EVER been to. The salad selection was terrible! The mixed greens were rotted, the "fresh" cut veggies were old and Browning. The other food sections were less than adequate either empty or just un-appetizing. And the bathroom had pee all over the seat, and pee soaked tissue on the floor. I will never return to this Golden Coral again!

Worst Golden Corral ever been to. Was supposed to be open till 10 pm but by 8:30 pm when we arrived it was out of steak and several other items and never replaced any of them. most of the time while we were there they were cleaning up with no servers and if the health dept had been there would have shut them down. I like golden corral but avoid this location.

Dont eat here! It was awful old food.....all the food was crusted over. It was obvious the food had been sitting for over an hr. Broccoli was wilted. Spaghetti noodles were cold with hardened areas where they had dried out. And though they had spaghetti sauce, they had no parmesan. If you are passing through and want a good place to eat, this is not it.

This place is in Marshall TX about a half hour drive from Shreveport. We have a Golden Corral here but we much prefer this one because its a lot less crowded and they seem to take greater care of how the food tastes and the cleanliness of the presentation. Also its a very friendly place being in Texas.

My experience was wonderful. My meat was nice and juicy the breast was hard to turn down. Service was freaking awesome wonderful .scenery was AMAZING. The were dripping in butter. It was a mouthwatering experience. You should give Big Jack a raise. As for the food it was okay.

We stopped at the Marshall restaurant on our way to Dallas on 7/27/14. The entire place was spotless, the food excellent, and the people were GREAT examples of Texas hospitality! We told Shannon (the manager) about how great it was, but we want to share it with others.

We read all the negative reviews but decided to chance it anyway. The food was fresh and hot and service was excellent. It was a Sunday at 1:30 so there were lots of people and they kept up the buffets. We would eat here again.
