6/16/16 approx. between 7 and 730pm, my husband and I were enjoying our meal, the food was great, service excellent. As we are sitting there, the older lady behind the salad bar was washing off the tv screen, dipped her wash rag in a red bucket that one assumes was filled with cleaning chemicals, then without taking off her gloves or washing her hands, proceeds to toss the salad with said gloved hands that she had just taken from the cleaning bucket. I make mention of this to the manager, he speaks with her. After he walks away, we continue to watch as she continues to wear the same gloves to take out some cardboard boxes to the back (I assume to be recycled or trashed), comes back, grabs the rag out of the cleaning bucket, wipes down the salad bar, places the rag back in the bucket and then with same gloved hands, shuffles the cantaloupe. Now I speak with the manager once again, remarking how the food should have been replaced (this whole time, people are taking salad and other salad bar items), and I was very disappointed that more corrective action was not taken. I will never eat here again with such lack of following common sense health code concerns, by both the lady and the manager. Only after I mention the food being replaced, did the manager go over to speak with this lady again and then takes the food off the bar. Unacceptable! I give 2 stars only because the food was really good (I shudder to think of possible contamination), and our servers have always been excellent.

Is there negative stars I can hit? Coming home from out of town, Memorial Day weekend, unfortunately for us, this was the first sit down to dinner restaurant we found open(because of the holiday) after stopping in three other small towns on the way into Kansas City. First off, the manager held us up at the cash register for 10 minutes talking about how her home had been destroyed by a recent tornado...I found it inappropriate to hold up customers like that, but then when we finally did get to the buffet, everything on it was dried up, crusty looking old vegetables, meats all gross looking like mud bricks on a plater, I didnt even go to the dessert bar, I was so disappointed! The manager walks up to me after we were almost done asks how things were, I told her what I thought, at which point shes offering to make anything fresh....too late!! It should have been fresh when we got there!! Not a place I would recommend going to! Wish Id have paid attention to the other comments when trying to find restaurants online.

Food was good, but customer service was aweful. The reason for the 1 star was if you cant get service, what good is your meal. I ordered coffee and that was a nightmare. I was told I could get it with my dessert. When I paid for my meal I told them I wanted coffee with my meal. The waitress was sitting down behind wall and unable to see anyone sitting in her section, and it was only 11:45 am. This store needs serious training when it comes to the customers needs. This was the second time I had stopped at this location on my trip and never again. On future visits to Golden Corral I will bypass this location and eat at a different location its not at all!

My family and I went to the Golden Corral in Raymore Missouri tonight for the Veterans Day Special. I want to thank you for a very enjoyable evening. Food was great and our server Donald was great. He never left a dirty plate on our table or let our drinks get less then half empty before getting us a refill. We shared our table with other customers because of the business you all had tonight. If was a nice surprise that you all had the national anthem played for all of the Vets. It was nice to share commonality with other Vets and their families that was seated with us

Came in about 8 with family that just got to town from WI. Our server, Donald was absolutely amazing!!! Never an empty drink, not an empty plate stayed on our table long. The ladies running the dessert bar werent very polite. They were breaking things down very loudly and talking about personal thing at a volume in which we could hear. I believe if there are still people walking into your restaurant at 9-930 than the process of breaking down food areas should come to a halt. They did allow us to keep sitting and visiting with our party though. Huge plus for that!!

Went at 2:00 on Tuesday afternoon and would expect it to be better stocked as they were out of several options. Food quality was lower than average Golden Corral for me (compared with other locations in MO/KS) . Friendly service, average restrooms, kids were impressed with dessert options, I found the brown gravy to have an excellent flavor and the fried chicken was juicy and compares to the chicken across the street at Ryans, atmosphere was a little sketchy I suppose but I guess you run into that, didnt care for the music, price for lunch is higher than Ryans

Just at there and the meatloaf was horrible. The food isnt close to even having any flavor to it. McDonalds has flavor, Taco bell has flavor, KFC has flavor. You guys here are horrible. The only good experience out of Golden Corral was the server Kara and the Manager JJ, he did everything to keep us happy and full. I never had a manager that went above and beyond to make us feel worthy. He might be the only reason for a return and also Kara. Sure hope the food gets better cause if not, China buffet and others are and will take your customers away.

Food was ok. Not sick yet after 20 hours but some items tasted pretty bad. Biggest rant was it took me about 15 plates to find one that was even close to clean. Most had food still stuck on them and almost all had grease prints. Just plain dirty!!! I will not be back. I have never given a bad review to any restaurant before, but this one needs to be reported to the health department. Great service from server: Kelly. She deserves more than we could afford to give her for a tip.

THE! WORST! The absolute worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life, even the ice cream and cookies were horrible... The beef ribs were beyond undercooked. My 10 year old daughter asked never to come back after eating! Then asked on the way out "Arent all Golden Corrals supposed to be the same"?!?! All I wanted was to spend time with my daughter on a "daddy daughter date" not make a horrible experience that we would remember for the rest of our lives!!

Just got out of the restaurant and had an amazing experience with my daughter and husband. The server Donald was so polite and attentive. Not to mention the elderly couple who sat in the table next to us who actually got our daughter a bunny from the claw machine (who she is asleep snuggling.) The food was actually really good compared to the one in Independence. Also, for it being a busy Friday night it was really laid back.

Our family got food poisoning after eating at the Raymore location. Horrible experience!!! Even worse was that they didnt make it right by apologizing. Had us talk to several people over the course of three days. Even took our credit card info "to make it right" per their words then the manager called and was defensive and rude. No refund or apology. Our family will never eat there again.
