UPDATE: Thank you, Ulises, for the fast response. I am sure that if you had been there, this would not have ever happened. Weve met, and you have always treated us with respect and kindness. My son was heartened by your response, and we might be able to talk him into coming by again. You should have my contact info in your customer database already, so feel free to drop me a line. Id love to come to a resolution, so we can come back. I think you guys normally have some of the best food and friendliest staff (Roman) in the area. ----------- Eden Cafe used to be one of my familys favorite restaurants. I wouldnt say I was a regular, but we would go about once a month. We first started noticing problems shortly after their front of house manager moved on to greener pastures. He was one of the best managers of any restaurant I have ever seen. First it was little things like broken sauces or the wrong side. Nothing worth raising a fuss about. Then it was slightly more noticeable things like a rude waitress (and no comment card offered with the check), or malfunctioning faucet in the restroom. Off-putting, but forgivable. Everybody has bad days, and things break down. Before I go into why Im leaving a one-star review, I need to explain one very important factor in deciding where I eat. My son has severe food allergies. Not lactose-intolerance, not I-saw-this-great-new-diet-on-Dr.-Oz BS. A real hives-inducing, vomit if were lucky, airway closure if were not, allergy. Dairy and peanuts are the main ones. Peanuts is normally easy to weed out, but dairy is insidious. Anyway, we always order pasta with red sauce and grilled chicken, and its always delicious. This weekend we ordered a meal to go. We never get meatballs, because we were informed theirs have milk in them. I arrived, and my order was ready right on time. I always double check my sons food, since its a pain to have to drive back. I noticed there was a meatball on the pasta. No good. So I waited for them to remake it with chicken. No big deal, mistakes happen. This is where things started to get wonky. They charged me an extra $1.07 for the chicken. I get it: its a protein. But when somebody has to wait an extra few minutes for their to-go order, that seems a little strange. Whatever. I pay it. We get home, and as I plate my sons pasta, I notice some strange cubes in it. I taste one, and lo and behold, its the meatball! Not only did they not remake the pasta, as you really need to do when somebody has an allergy, they INTENTIONALLY hid the fact by dicing up the meatball. Had I been a little less vigilant, my son could have been severely injured. I dont know if it was stupidity, incompetence, laziness, or cruelty, but it was entirely unacceptable. I was too livid to go back to get the order corrected, so my wife went back instead. When she got there, the manager didnt seem to empathize with our problem at all. No acknowledgement with the severity of the problem, or any attempt to make things right, aside from re-making the meal. By this time my son was too paranoid to enjoy eating the food from there. And theres no way well be able to convince him its safe to try again. Its sad, because we really loved this restaurant. Hopefully theyll do some soul-searching and get their service back up to the levels we were accustomed to.

I ordered eden skillet . I ordered with sunny side eggs .it comes up very bland and the eggs were very overcooked for sunny side . My husband ordered scrambled eggs . That too was very overcook and dry not fluffy like its supposed to be . the server was nice anf place is cozy , but i wouldnt back for breakfast though .

This is our favorite place to eat. The food is always good and the staff is friendly. My favorite dish is pasta marsala chicken with asparagus instead of squash. I love there avocado burger and the chicken Alfredo. My wife loves there salmon and she hates fish. Thats saying something. With our last child I though we were going to buy stock for as much she craved there food. That kid is made of Eden salmon. Well I hope you try it and enjoy it like we do.

I am in the area, down from Canada, at least one or two weeks a month and I always make a point of eating at this wonderful cafe. The food, service, and hospitality are 2nd to none. I have made a promise to try every meal on the menu; so far I am about half way thru and have loved every morsel. They have just opened a new wine bar, with an extensive selection, which I am defintely looking forward to trying out. Best regards, Larry from Canada

I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this delicious spot every time Im in the area to visit family. Im never disappointed with either the service, the quality of the food, or the all around value that this gem provides. Being greeted by the owner, and sometimes his family also is just the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

I have food allergies and both times I visited this cafe I became very ill. My very specific request were ignored and I was either served the item exactly as on the menu, or they substituted an item to which I am allergic. On its second time to the table it obviously was still wrong as I became ill within the hour.

Delicious food here at Eden Cafe in Magnolia. Stayed in Texas for the week and ate here a total of 4 times! Tried multiple things on the menu including the Tuscan Bruschetta, Greek Salad, Pesto Pasta, and even the bread pudding to name a few. Large portion sizes, nice atmosphere, and exceptional service. Thanks!

Breakfast was delicious and cooked exactly to our satisfaction. Service was excellent (Lacey). Wish we had come across Eden earlier in the week while in town for a wedding. Highly recommend this restaurant. And it is also smoke free...added plus! Will definitely stop in again if ever in the area again.

It was my first day in Texas, I was exploring the Woodlands by foot. More than an hour later of walking, I asked an employee at AT&T what he recommended: Eden Cafe. I had a great breakfast, and since I am vegetarian, I can say it had many options! Great friendly service, affordable, and delicious!

Probably my favorite restaurant in the north Houston area. Great food and selection. Awesome service with a staff who is very knowledgeable regarding menu item ingredients. They are happy to make alterations to menu items, if possible, to cater to those with food allergies.

The food is very high quality. The only thing wrong was though it tasted great, the chocolate brownie was a bit dry. The waiters and waitresses are very welcoming and will do anything in their power to complete your requests. Kid friendly and great for people of all ages.

Passing through town I have some local friends that took me here for dinner. The chicken Alfredo with a side salad... I had one of the owners stop by and asked how things were.. I wish we had this kind of food back in Georgia
