I am visiting from Houston and really wanted some sushi so I found this place. Considering it was already 10pm I was surprised to find this place open so my husband and I gave it a shot. We ended up ordering hibachi and I was a little skeptical at first. The food tasted amazing. The prices are way cheaper then some of the places in Houston and you get a lot of food. It was a little salty, but overall everything was fantastic. If Im ever in town again, I would visit here again but maybe try the sushi out next time around.

I love the fishes they have in the restaurant its awesome its comfortable customer service was good and this is what I really love they have its a lot of food for your money so if youre looking to get a lot of food for your dollar Shoguns is the place to get it if you live on a budget and you want some food Shoguns is your place because I have never seen been to a restaurant thats giving me that much food for that price it is fantastic and the skill of their chefs are awesome so definitely check them out

This evening, my family celebrated a belated Fathers Day meal. Having lived in Japan for a few years, I tend to be a tough critic when it comes to this distinct dining experience. I was very impressed with the quality of the food as well as managements commitment to providing its clientele with an accurate representation of its distinct and authentic cuisine. Decent food but not for the price, the sushi they serve is not fresh, seaweed is stale snd the sauce they put on the spicy tuna hand-roll is sweet and candy like. the "filet migon" had the consistency of taco bells steak. The fried rice was mediocre, I gave this place two stars because i dont know if there is a better Japanese place in lubock , but any place in Houston kills this place.

Great food every time I come, the help here is awesome an they mesh well to create some delicious food. I come at least once a week, with all the great speacials they have I dont feel like Im every getting ripped off, especially with the serving sizes they give you!! Love this place best Japanese steakhouse in town

Pluses - friendly polite staff, no noise Minuses - strong smell of grandmas wet carpets Ordered filet mignon and shrimps, rice veggies shrimps are good, filet tasted more like liver rather than meat Not many places in town to go to, so nothing to lose

Called in 8 orders of fried rice the guy on the phone was very rude said it would be an hour then called back and said he couldnt do it then hung up called back to ask why and he just hung up again....very upset wont ever eat here again

The Cajun rolls were good. The theatrics of our hibachi chef and the one at the next table were great. The kids had a lot of fun. They had all of us laughing. The food was good too. You get a good deal for the price!

Great food, recently remodeled and updated everything looks much better! We did have and unusually long wait for our cook but it seemed like we came during the lunch hour, otherwise it was good.

It is a good place if you are planning for a weekend fancy dinner. The seaweed salad and the lobster dinner are my favourites. Afforable lobster compared to other places in the city.
