I love sushi ! since Im not in new york city, its not easy to find a good Japanese place. We went there for my friends birthday party and I was surprised, good surprise. The server was great and always made sure everything is fine. He came with the drinks after less then 2 min and the agasashi tofu appetizer came after five minutes. I ordered the tuna tower which was amazing! the fish was fresh and good as well as the crab, with the tasty sauce it a great dish. My friends Philadelphia roll was also good with the right amount of rice per rice ) i stole one piece from him...). If all is so good why four stars and not five? If you consider yourself a good, quality, high class restaurant you cant use imitation crab!!! They charge a fair price the minimum they can do is using a real crab.

So we had our first visit to Edohana last night. Our family has frequented the Kyoto by the lake ever since its been open and while its OK and weve never had an issue, we were blown away at the difference in the quality and taste of the food at Edohana. Kyoto is a distant second. They had a special buy one get second for half price M-Th which was a nice surprise, but we had an order of filet mignon and lobster, and NY strip and scallops. The quality of the ingredients were good (lobster, steaks, and scallops) and the portions were big...almost too much for one person to eat. The chef also created seasoned butter on the grill and scooped it up in a small bowl to use on the seafood. Nice touch. We will definitely visit Edohana again.

I love Sushi Neko. That being said, this place blows it out if the water! the atmosphere was nice and quiet, everything was clean, the hibachi area is sectioned away enough that it doesnt distract. The food.was.amazing. Larger portions than what Ive had at other places, and they put their own twist on common items Ive had elsewhere that were meh, but wow here. The cowboy was an entire dinner plate of food, and the spicy Dragon was also incredible. we got our kid the "chicken nuggets" thinking itd be frozen store bought stuff--totally wrong, it was the most tender bit-sized pieces of fresh chicken expertly breaded and fried Ive ever tasted. please go there and support this place. every staff member was genuinely welcoming and nice.

This place is as close to nirvana as it gets. Its not inexpensive, but it truly is incredible. My picks for Edohana are: Cowboy roll (come hungry!) - amazing combination of California roll massively topped with fried non-chewy calamari and crab, sweet chili sauce...its OMG good. Their soft shell crab appetizer is spectacular. About any of their specialty rolls are great, depending on what you like. Staff is spot-on and they are truly there to make sure you leave 100% satisfied...so you will come back for more. Cant ask for much else IMO.

Food was okay but service was pathetic. Waitress was too rude to accommodate any requests from us. She seemed new to the restaurant which led to a lot of confusion even in placing order. Being vegetarian, all we needed was to be flexible when it comes to choice of items in their Hibachi dinner but we ended up with almost no option that spoiled the whole dinner. Will not recommend if you need even a minor alteration to the menu.

Always excellent!! Best TASTING Japanese food in Dallas area, Rockwall for sure! Their Filet Mignon is high quality and always delicious and perfect! I often get their tempura appetizer and ask for all broccoli or onion rings. I love their thickened teriyaki sauce on the side. The clear soup is great too. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

Looking for reasonably priced sushi? Try them! We had sways went to Kyoto until we tried this place about 5 months ago and we havent been back! The Temptation roll is by far the best thing on the menu. Also the Ahi Tower is another family fav. Sit in Minas section, she is amazing and brings you things to try!

Came on Christmas eve and had a really nice time. Talented chef, welcoming staff, great tasting food and all served in a timely manner. Too bad every single one of my shrimps still had their vein even after being butterflied open. Spent most of my time pulling the vein out of each shrimp.

Really good, fresh food prepared hibachi style with authentic Japanese Chefs. The Chef we had paid great attention to our requests and prepared everything very well. We all enjoyed it. It was my daughters birthday and they sang her a song and gave her a Japanese dessert. Very nice folks.

It is a fine place for sushi and the staff is very nice. That said, maybe my sushi tastes are too refined, but the fish has to be fresh for good sushi, the fish when we went was just ok. Good for a quick fix, but not something to remember and cherish. Price to quality mostly matches up.

I pass by this place often and finally got to try it out. It looks small from the outside but its huge on the inside. The staff was freindly and the food was great. The only negative i could find was tge dining area wasnt very clean and the food was pretty pricy.

My wife and I have never even done the hibachi because the sushi is amazing. A lot of people in the area eat at the sushi restaurant down the road but this place has better rolls and I never have to wait. As for the staff they are great and know us by name.

The food here was great but the best part was the service. Our waitress Kim was so personable and entertaining and was just a joy to be around. She taught us how to say hello in Japanese and also told us the different types of beers will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoy the sushi here. And the fried rice is good portion for the price point. Which brings me to my only complaint, the nigiri sushi I feel is a bit over priced. $5-6 for two pieces. However the filet on the salmon is excellent and large.

My wife and I both love this resturant. We come here at least 2-4 times a month. I prefer the Hibachi and her the Sushi. Both are wonderful. I fully recomend it to anyone! You wont be disappointed!
