I use to work here and trust me the food is great and the chefs are nice but the preparation is the worst. The meat that comes on the black trays to the hibachi tables are grabbed with bare hands. There is gloves available but the employees do not use them and grab the raw meat with their bare hands. Vegetables are dropped and still used without washing. Customers that walk by should look at the concrete floor that blue rag on the doorway covers because its disgusting. Dishes are washed poorly in dirty water that will sit there for hours to the point its dark brown from all the dirty plates and food. The tables are wiped with bleach water in a dirty bucket. The bus boys pick up dirty plates from the tables and reset them without washing their hands after cleaning the table. The napkins on that table have been set by dirty and unwashed hands. Customers yall watch these bus boys. Watch them clear a table, wipe, and reset it without washing their hands. No gloves are offered to these guys as well. There is plenty more things wrong but in my opinion this is enough to say no Im not going to eat here.

Sept 3rd 2016, I wanted to take my family out to eat. I was with my sister, two family friends, and my niece and nephew. We showed up to Ohanas on 4th at 9pm. We asked to be seated on the hibachi side and the lady trying to seat us said "it would be faster" if we sat at a table. We declined and asked to be seated on the hibachi side again. The server let out a sigh and said that they were close to closing so they werent seating on that side anymore. I asked her if they close at 11pm and she said yes, I look back at my watch and it says 9pm. Rather than ask for a manager we walked out and decided to take our business elsewhere. Ive frequented this place for a couple of years, but will not return anymore. You can tell when you go in customer service is the last thing on their mind.

My first time ever eating at a place like this awesome experience, the food was awesome and well worth the price and the chef Robert was so awesome, making sure to request him next time, our waiter was awesome other waiters was awesome one even told us about a hotdog joke I couldnt stop laughing. Even though me and my date had got there kind of close to closing time they were still welcoming and served us an awesome dinner. They made us laugh the whole time, they wasnt rushing us to eat so they can hurry to close, I wish I could give more then 5 stars yall rock and will be coming back soon with family.

Unprofessional. Called in a to go. Did not have it ready when I arrived. Had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival because the staff was not there, which they were very vocal about, yelling throughout the quiet restaraunt. Waitresses spilled beer all over the bar, argued about what time to time to be in, and the poor customers on a date had no peace with the environment they were eating in. Awful

Not sure how it is. Never got any service (including promised high chair) after being seated. Passed up several times by employees, and one even came over to take stuff from our table for another table, so Im fairly certain they knew we were there. Host was chatting at the bar. We didnt complain there because there was no one to complain to. Ended up leaving frustrated.

Every time we have dinned in we have really enjoyed it. Sushi was fresh and good. The grilled items good. Service was ok. Every time we have carried out we were disappointed. Quality was not as good & they always managed to forget a item. When we would dine in we would constantly see people who were coming back for forgotten items. Might be a tactic of theirs.

This is a family friendly place, but it is a great place to bring a date for the hibachi grill. The chef is always entertaining, and the food is great. The.meats are fresh and the vegetables are terrific. The light is very low for the private tables, so bring a light along if want to see what you are eating. Lots of parking easy access to parking lot.

OHana is a wonderful restaurant, but drive down to 82nd and Slide! This one is fairly new and the food is very, very different. The fried rice is made with different ingredients, more onions than rice. Nowhere near as good at the older restaurant in south Lubbock. Stay away from 4th!

My favorite place for sushi in Lubbock!The food is always great and the restaurant is always clean. The staff are always polite and nice. This is a must try! I recommend the phoenix roll, spicy scallop roll, and the crab asparagus roll. Their miso soup is also delectable!!

This has been the worst experience...Ive been sitting here and waiting for my food (1 Roll!!!) For over an hour. Worst customer service ever, they never came and checked on us, no wasabi, no knives, we had to ask for the chop sticks...never coming back here again

Kaitlin was a wonderful server! Desiree was an amazing cook! The service was wonderful and the hospitality was amazing. The food tasted great! I would highly recommend coming here if you want a great show and great food to go with it.
