I was so disappointed tonight!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend of three years does not see the point in Valentines Day, Birthdays, and most of the other celebrated holidays. Today he decided to take me out for Valentines Day! Oh YAY! I normally go by myself or with my Mom. I was so happy he was willing to go being Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants. That is until tonight! Reason one I ordered a glass of wine I had to ask for four times Reason two My spinach artichoke dip was dry and burnt (What the heck! I love this stuff and now I could only choke down a few bites.) Reason three His cheese fondue was a bowl of rubbery cheese. Not as in a warm stringy cheese but as in a semi solid mas that didnt really spread on the bread. Reason four the chicken in our mixed grill was also dry and rubbery (are we seeing a trend yet?) Reason five Did I forget to mention that the table that sat down 10 minutes after us got their drinks, appetizers, and food before us? They got there drinks before our waitress even came to ask for ours, they got there appetizers by the time we got our drinks, and so on.... She did however apologise for suggesting we order the fondue and at least removed that from out ticket. He wouldnt let me call the manager because he doesnt like to make a fuss about anything in public but I was so not happy!

Horrible for the last 2 visits in a month. Incredibly slow service. Most recent was this evening. We had reserved a room for a party of 15. We had to wait for our table. Drinks were 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. We never received dipping sauce for breadsticks although were requested twice. After waiting 1/2 for meals we were told we had multiple orders for the "steak" which was slowing the order. This was the mixed grill which are kabobs. These were all cooked to the consistency of basic shoe leather when they arrived. We asked again after waiting 45 minutes and were told another large party had come in before us. Received meals after 1 hour. No offer of any free apps in the meantime. We were all charged a mandatory gratuity on our checks. TIPS stands for "to insure prompt service". They should have paid us. None of us will be going back to this restaurant for a long time.

Este restaurante es para quienes gustan de la comida italiana. Soy uno esos que aman la cocina de ese país. Los platos que sirven son deliciosos, aunque a veces me parece que las raciones son pequeñas para los precios nada baratos. Sin embargo, recomiendo este restaurante por la originalidad de las combinaciones de sabores y sus raciones ilimitadas de ensalada y pan.

This Olive Garden has gone downhill. We ordered to go. The food all lacked flavor. We ordered the Artichoke spinach dip, which used to be fantastic. They mustve changed the recipe, because it was terrible. It was basically spinach, some artichokes, and cheese, and the bowl was about 1/8th full. No seasoning, no cream cheese, no tomatoes (all of which it used to have). And they served it with FOUR of those little slices of bread. My chicken and shrimp carbonara had one slice of chicken in it. And was 18 dollars. We also had several dressings/sides left out. Of course they basically have no competition in Longview so Im sure they will do whatever they please to customers.

Amazing service! I arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. My group of 4 was seated in back room usually reserved for parties. Due to our location and the full restaurant we waited a considerable time for food and refills. This is not a complaint as it was understandable. What left an impression was the staffs response to being notified we had empty glasses and plates. Before another minute had passed we had a 3 servers making sure we had what we needed. Customer service with a wonderful attitude! I can say that I am impressed. Thank you for a positive experience Longview TX!

We dont like the service at all but the food is fine. We have gone there for more than 10 years going there with my family. But we had a bad experience. The took us to the table, but we were there for more than 15 mins. And no one ask us for help nor for drinks. They took more people to the tables and they didnt serve us at all. Finally we decide to leave cause nobody wanted to help us. We told the persona in they front that we were waiting for more than 15 mins and between them they laughed. And there are more places to eat in Longview Tx.2/18/17 .7:30

The restaurant is a great place. Environment is good. However, you better order at least one entee or they will charge you for salad and bread sticks per each person. Never in the 14 years have I ever paid for salad per person while going to this establishment. Me and my two kids basically get the same thing every time we have gone here. I have even ordered numerous of to go orders at one time (because of job) still did not charge per person for a salad. I do not think I will go back. Just because the way it was dealt with while I was at the restaurant.

we were very disapointed. we arrived at Olive Garden just 5 min. after they opened their doors so they were not busy at all. We may have been their first custermers of the day. Anyway they said if would be a few min.so my husband went to the restroom thinking they would seat us when he got back and they still wouldnt seat us so he asked what was the problem and they told us they only had large tables ready. We couldnt beleive that they wouldnt have tables ready as soon as the doors or opened in the morning. Very poor service.

Awful food. When i tried to tell the management about my meal they said they would mail me a gift card but never did. I called for a carry out but when i got there i had to wait 30 minutes for them to make it. Then i had to pay cash because they didnt accept my credit card since its a rapid debit paycard and they dont do those transactions. I would rather eat Uncle joes and their WAY CHEAPER and better food! Ive only ate here once and i will never go back.

We had an totally amazing waitress named Kim. But I was very disappointed in the new order restrictions. In the past weve always ordered 2 large family size Alfredo dipping sauces to have with our bread. Well now new manager doesnt allow that. Each person has to order their own small bowl. ..Ridiculous. When you spend over $100 for lunch you should be able to order what you want for your family and especially if youre willing to pay extra

We got seated quickly. However the waiter was rushing us to order, never offered drink refills. It felt like everyone was rushing to move people in and out incredibly fast so not entirely enjoyable. Longview has far too many chain restaurants and this is no different. Look for a place thats not a chain if you want better food and better service.
