We tried it for the 1st time last night. OMG. That was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. The enchildas ( every kind offered) were so bland. Even the sour cream sauce didnt taste like sour cream. The beans were runny, the rice was so bland. My husbands tamales were bright red inside--RAW!!! He couldnt even eat after cutting into it and seeing that. We could not even get anyones attention to take it back. FINALLY. another waitress came and the look on her face was shocked too. We ordered queso also. It was runny and not cheesy tasting. The tortillas are so thick and not the best tasting. Something you would get out of a discount store not a mexican resturant. We never once saw our waitress after she took our order which she had to ask us repeatedly what we said. She heard, she just wasnt listening and couldnt remember what we said seconds later. There was two ladies in the next booth that also found something in their food and sent that back. Do yourself a huge favor. ----Save your money folks.

Los Jalapenos in Little Elm. Wow, Where to start..My fiance and I decided to go snag some mexican food for lunch. We had just moved into the area and had passed the little hole in the wall known as Los Jalapenos. Any other foodie will understand that a hole-in-the-wall is usually some of the best places to get that cultures cuisine. This is NOT the case. I expected the break down in comminication but the staff was generally rude. The orders were wrong, the sodas were poored from a 2liter in the back (which we could see) the ice came out of an open bucket sitting on the ground and the glasses/plate/forks and napkins were dirty. The food lacked flavor and was luke warm.

My coworkers and I came here today service is horrible food is the worst one of my coworkers order menudo and omg i could smell that from like 3 tables away very disgusting the other one order mole enchiladas wich the best thing was the rice and beens , i order the asado de puerco and i like the rice and beens the rest was so salty that i couldnt even eat it one good thing do that the waitresse was kinda friendly but overall i would never came back to this restaurant

I absolutely LOVE this place. Their Carne Deshebrada with Mexican potatoes is my favorite dish . They have great corn tortillas with lots of flavor, that are very soft, and they dont fall apart. Service has always been excellent. I go there so often, one of the waitresses knows my order by heart. They serve breakfast all day and have great breakfast burritos that you can custom order. My favorite spot to sit is on the terrace in the evening.

I absolutely hated it about 2 years ago my family and i found glass in our tacos. Not just one but several pieces of glass. I went there for fathers day with my husbands family only to be reasured that place is disgusting. The service was horrible. The waitress told my mother in law that if she had a question about the bil to get up and ask her manager. Who does these things. Never again will i eat there.

Great authentic Tex -Mex. I have eaten all over Dallas and even in South Texas Brownsville/Harlingen area. This is as close to South Texas Mexican food I have been able to find. I eat here at least 2 times a month sometimes 5 or 6. It has great atmosphere and the food is always good. I highly recomend. They have a great lunch menu that is 5.99 till 3;00. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

We went in last Sunday for breakfast. My wife ordered the green Chilaquiles and I ordered the red ones. The food was amazing, service was excellent. With out a doubt these are the best Chilaquiles Ive had since I moved from California. Ive been there a couple of times for dinner, the food is good and service is great. The service you receive is a mirror of your attitude!

I asked them to leave cheese and sour cream off my salad because Im allergic to dairy but when it came out there it was. I reminded them that I cant eat that and they took it back knocked the cheese off and scraped the sour cream off and brought it back!! I could see where the sour cream was still on the shell of my taco salad. REALLY??!! Terrible service too.

Only giving one star because I have to...After waiting almost 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were waiting to be seated, they literally turned away our business. Server said yes you can sit outside but we are really busy and only have two servers....What kind of ridiculous business doesnt want money??

I have been here several times. I love it. A couple of years ago--not so great. I went here with my family 2 weeks ago and everything was awesome except the hamburger someone ordered. I expected that from a Mexican food restaurant. Great value. For true Mexican but not a lot of $

When your only complaint is that you cant get the onions because the meat keeps getting in the way... My wife and I ordered the queso flameado and fajitas for two. The food and service were excellent. This is our new "go to" place!

Weve eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks on Saturday mornings. Outstanding staff and food is "excellent" true Mexican cuisine. Not a fancy restaurant but you got to try this place if you like original Mexican meals.

Came in with my aunt and uncle had fajitas and cheese enchiladas and beef nachos. Waitress was super nice and gave great service. All the food was completely awesome. I will be back again for sure!

This is my familys favorite Mexican Resturant. The food is so flavorful and tasty! The atmosphere is quaint and the patio outside is a nice place to hang out with the kids.
