My wife convinced me to try this place after I turned it down due to its outer appearance. I am glad I listened to her. The food was great (tacos were freaking huge!!!) The price was decent and staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!!! UPDATE: 6/25/16...We came back 2 years later and I must say this place has gone downhill since. Staff was not very friendly, pancakes were not too great. I am very disappointed how this place has turned out...I am sorry to say I will not be coming back...removed stars due to the service not being what it used to be.

Este restaurante tiene mal servicio aparte pedi un sample para probar el menudo ya que en barios restaurantes el menudo esta oscuro y con mal sabor por lo mismo que lo dejan de 2 a mas dias y no es fresco. No bolbere a este lugar!

Mal trato fui a desayunar y en el cafe habia una mosca. Mala hijiene. El baño con mal olor. Los dueños poco receptivos. Y los meseros poca atencion.Deben de cerrar este chinchero.

unorganized sevice. no dedicated hostess, waiterest, or bus boy. at one point all for employees were serving drinks. order was brought to the table wrong, 40 minutes after ordering. COLD. then I was told "Thats what is on the ticket". went ahead and ate it because I didnt want to wait another 40 minutes even though the waitress was willing to correct the order.

I eat here every time I roll through Port Isabel. Wonderful fajita plate. Salsa and chips are delicious. Meals also come with a vegetable soup. The soup is just okay, but I dont go here for the soup. The fajita plate with one huge flour tortilla. Its like chipotle, but really good. And filling. Give it a try!

Place is kind of small & run down but the food was good however for the prices better to look elsewhere.The restrooms were the most appalling as there is ONE door that opens to 2 stalls & one sink that is suppose to be shared by both men AND women. SO BEWARE - DO NOT LET CHILDREN GO IN ALONE!

Great food. Great service. Came Here every day of our vacation time was skeptical because of the negetaive reviews but had no problems with my order or the atmosphere. Huggeee gigantic breakfast tacos. For lunch the quesadillas were awesome!!! Highly Recommend it!!!

My wife and I ate here several times when we were on our honeymoon. Excellent food, very reasonable prices, family owned...we loved it. Cilantro scrambled eggs with refried beans, tortillas and chorizo...just delightful! Highly recommended.

Sign says open, we walk in, its 3:00 and chairs are up, guy is sweeping, i ask are you open, guy never tirns around he keeps sweeping, i ask again, he looks around the room and says ummm yea!!! So rude!!!! This guy was so rude, dont go here!

Mexican food is authentic, they even have gorditas with carne desebrada, with queso fresco. The menudo on saturday and sunday is one of the best in Port Isabel. Their barbacoa isnt oily. Its family owned and operated! Great place to eat!

Teenage boys rolling silverware, one of which kept rubbing his nostrils then using same fingers to press down silverware to line it up to roll it straight. Eghads! Lol. Teenagers...otherwise food was decent and service was great.

The food was awesome, authentic and plentiful. The complimentary Bean Soup was worth the trip itself. Reasonable prices. If you can get the wait staff to smile, though, tell me how you did it. Not a friendly bunch.
