Terribly slow service! We stopped in there on a Wednesday at 5:30pm. The place was DEAD...quite a few employees walking around, passing by repeatedly, yet we sat there for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Another 10 minutes passed and we had chips, and after sitting there for a total of 30 minutes, we finally had drinks and placed our order...30 minutes! Getting our food was another 30 minute wait at least, and we managed to go through 3 bowls of chips while we waited. The food was decent, nothing special, although NOT vegetarian friendly (enchilada sauce has chicken base and beans have lard). After being ignored a while longer and practically begging for our check (at this point there were a few more families in there, so the service/response time went from poor to non-existent) we managed to get out of there over an hour and a half after we arrived. We will most certainly NOT be returning.

Terrible service and terrible food. We got seated and ordered our drinks and queso. It came out quickly but then our server NEVER came back and after 20 mins of waiting WE had to grab the attention of a different server. She took our order and it was a VERY simple order. We also asked for more chips because the first batch was ALL BROKEN CRUMBS. Chips never came and when our food finally arrived, it was WRONG and parts of mine was on my friends plate and parts of hers was on my plate. part of my food was so soggy it just mushed on my plate and hers was stale and just tore apart, not crunch to it at all. When we asked to speak to a manager, the lady who was our original server who NEVER came back walked up to the table and said she was the manager. They did comp our food, but i WILL NEVER go back!

Waited almost an hour for our food (which I could almost understand if they were slammed but we were only one of three tables at the time) and all of our orders were incorrect and not even by a little, I mean its as if our server zoned out and waited for us to finish just to ask three or four times what we wanted and then just forgot. By the time any food even made it to our table it was all cold and the sauce on everything had congealed into a paste with an almost jello consistency. They completely forgot one of our plates and even after clarifying what that fourth plate was supposed to be it still came out wrong and had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp to the point where the enchiladas were dried out and crumbled at the mere poke of a fork.

We have celebrated a birthday there in June 2017. Food was wrong service was poor and food that did arrive was cold. We spoke to the manager Santos, who stated that we could come in as a party next time and he would comp our meal to give us a better experience. We were very happy with this result. Unfortunately we went back to weeks later the same group of people and he only comes to peoples food. When I asked the waitress to get Santos the manager, she stated he had run to the bank. Unfortunately, we could see him in the back by the bar and it was Saturday afternoon and all the banks were closed. Very poor customer service we will not return.

Went to Azul for the first time and it was fantastic! At the suggestion of our server, I had the Carne Asada and Enchilada. It was done perfect, and the Asada was huge. The fresh, hot, homemade tortillas were just as good too. Our server also suggested the Brisket Tacos, so my wife had those and said they were just as good although shell change to the flour tortillas next time. Then to top it off, we had Sopaipillas. They were fresh and hot with honey, with chocolate and whipped cream on the plate too. Our service was top notch and the server made for a great time too (Thank you Claudia!). Well definitely be going back again.

Just had dinner there tonight 11/3/16. Have been before but I felt compelled to write a review this time because the service was exceptionally bad. Bad service just ruins the evening and the whole dining experience. The food is marginal at best. We came here because its close and convenient but next time well venture out a little further and have a great all around meal at places such as Catina Laredo, Abuelos, or Uncle Julios. We want to support local businesses but not if were going to have to wait to have our order taken, sit with empty drink glasses, and wait to process our bill. We, too, will not be coming back.

This is a new independent restaurant with local owners. I have been here several times and have had a great experience every time. They are still tweaking the menu but so far everything has been great. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The daily happy hour is a nice bargain for appetizers and a few drinks. Update: They state 1/2 appetizers during happy hour but always charge full price. This has happened multiple times and I dont believe it accidental.

Great chips and salsa for starters. I have been twice already and have had the fish tacos and pechuga regia and both entrees were the best I have had in all of the Frisco area! Beer comes in big cold mugs and the place was very clean and modern. Wife loved the Margaritas. I have seen in other reviews that service is slow. Our waiter was a little slow but this place has only been open a month so I am sure that will improve. Either way the food is worth the wait!

This place is lit! The food is so good I left speechless. I was great led as soon as I walked in and they took my order as soon as I sat down. I had the fajitas and they were amazing! They were so tender and they were warm with amazing tortillas! The drinks were cold and he bar tender was super nice. The bar is amazing and the games are always playing. The drinks are amazing and beer is nice and cold. Overall this place is the best mexican food in the frisco area

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Everything was great... The atmosphere, food, and service. I had the nachos and were true Mexican and tasted delicious. I was greeted very Nicely and taken care of right away. I know this place is new, but it feels like they have been here forever and have mastered service and quality dining. I would really recommend this place for any occasion and and group size:) btw- the comments others made the restaurant has improved in these points.

Atmosphere was nice and inviting. Unfortunately service was pretty slow and the food was quite disappointing. Smelled great when we walked in so I anticipated it to be wonderful and authentic like the reviews state. This was not the case. The salsa was bland, like a pace picante sauce and the food was very Tex-mex. My husbands michalada was also quite bland and lacking in spice and flavor. We will not be going back.

Service was slow, had to flag down and ask server for everything. Finally got our food and surprise order wasnt correct. They ran out of rice!?!? I over heard the couple next to us had waited an hour and a half and was missing part of their order. Tables in the pictures have been dirty some since before we got there! Very disappointed.
