I would rate this place zero stars if I could, I dont care how good your tacos are - which I will now never know. After searching online for a good authentic taco place I read the reviews for Jalapeno Taqueria and was really excited to try them. I pulled up into their parking lot at 7:30 with their open sign lit & their hours stating open until 8. As I stepped onto the sidewalk in front of their door they locked me out! No explanation. No "Im sorry but we have to close early today due to [insert literally ANY reason here], but please do come back another time." No decent human courtesy. I went down the street to Tacos Y Mas instead and had a delicious taco supper. I will never go back to Jalapeno Taqueria.

When the only thing you care about is getting your mind blown by awesome authentic Mexican food, come here. No frills service or ambiance... its authentic. I eat at a lot of taquerias. This one is excellent. A big plus is free chips and salsa which not all taquerias offer (but you may need to request it). One standout is their Tortas. Ive never had one I really loved until this place. I got the Picosa. It rocked! The dark red roasted tomato salsa with bits of cilantro is excellent too.

I saw a 4.7 rating for a taqueria on Google and though "yeah right." But Im happy to report I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is fresh and hot at an affordable price. There is also an extensive menus and if youre in the area in the morning, they serve breakfast too. This is a must visit little place...and I do mean little place. Maybe 6 tables

Ever since Ive moved to Keller, Ive been looking for authentic street tacos & now Ive found them! This taqueria is definitely a family owned hole in the wall. They were kind from start of the experience to the end of experience. The tacos themselves smelt absolutely AMAZING. Fresh & tasty. Ill definitely be back.

Service is always terrible and they are rude. Closed 8:30AM Sunday without explanation Jacked up our family plans for a nice breakfast. Just go to Taco Y Mas down the street, they actually know how to run a business, otherwise go find a taco truck somewhere at least they will be open. Lost my business.

Real Mexican not TexMex. Hole in the wall joint. Large burritos, mexican street tacos and expand sodas. Being from southern California I dont like TexMex food and when I moved to Texas thats mostly what you get. I was really excited when I found this place.

Maybe the least trendy of all the recent restaurants sprouting up on Main and Old Town, but great traditional street-style Mexican fare with an extensive menu. Been here for over 10 years, and so much more flavorful than the standard Tex-Mex fare.

Good little hole-in-the-wall taqueria. I had the spicy pork tacos and reallly enjoyed the flavor. It seems to be family run, which gives the place a nice feel. Ill be coming back to try the sopes.

Excellent tacos, tortas, and burritos! I especially like their breakfast tacos. Be prepared to wait a little for your breakfast tacos....they get busy in the mornings. Well worth the wait!!

Staff was friendly, restaurant was small with 5 tables but clean and well kept, food was delicious and authentic. Missing hot sauce but salsa was fairly good. Will definitely be back!!!
