I went to Elote to order a bean and cheese burrito for my daughter as she was going to be at school late. When ordering I was asked if I wanted it grilled, I said sure! Thinking they grill it like Taco Bell or something. I receive a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When I received my order, I told the young lady that took my order that I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The young lady "insisted" I told her grilled pbj. She was rude about it. I told her these things happen and I wasnt really bothered by it, but I felt she made it more than it really needed to be. I waited for the corrected order and was there way longer than anticipated for a bean and cheese burrito, even for the incorrect order....it took this place over 15 minutes to make a grilled pbj? I could have done that way faster at home and this place wasnt even busy? Why would someone go to a local Mexican place and order a grilled pbj? I wont go back here due to the customer service. The customer here is always wrong.

Dont listen to the one-timers. Hello, I frequent this restaurant due to the fact that my job is only a few minutes away on 170. The people are extremely friendly, enough to remember what you usually order if your a regular. The margaritas are well mixed and the beers are ice cold. I have to give them props on their salsa too. Not the table salsa, the real salsa. The flavor is amazing in my opinion. Very well balanced. This is a great restaraunt and I recommend it to a lot of people. I honestly wish I could talk to some one these reviewers....if your having trouble at restaraunts, Maybe the common denominator isnt the food place, its you.

New and welcome addition to the neighborhood, bright and warm interior, friendly staff. Ordered the shredded pork and shredded chicken tacos with angry chillis - came dressed with a bit of lettuce, tomato, and cheese on doubled street-taco-sized corn tortillas. Fresh, spicy, very good. Tried the black bean dip as a starter, good flavor with fresh and crispy chips, little too much salt. Had a Deschutes IPA to balance it out - other beer options were generic macro - and the hops cut the salt and tacos perfectly. Overall, good value, fresh and distinctive food - will be going back soon!

I ate there for the 1st time on 5/21/16. It is set up similar to Taco Cabana. You order at the counter and then someone brings the food to you. I waited 10 minutes for the young man behind the counter to take a phone order. Once I ordered, the food came out quickly. I had cheese enchiladas with lime cilantro rice and charro beans, and a small margarita which totaled almost $14. The meal wasnt bad, but certainly not very good. The ranchero sauce was weird. Overall, for me, it wasnt a pleasant experience. I wont go back and wouldnt recommend it.

I thought I would give this place a try because the parking lot is always full. Im glad I did. It was not as I expected, pretty "low key" inside, I was expecting something really fancy, but plenty nice enough. The food was the real suprize, wow, much better than I expected, real TexMex and very generous portions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really like this place every time I go in. I will have to drop by some night during half-price frozen drinks.

Awesome customer service!!! My family and I came from the Westside of Fort Worth for the 1st time. Food was good, environment clean, will be back. A Plus was when the manager passed by and got my 3 yr old niece a plastic spoon so she could enjoy her food better. Thank you for the awesome customer service from the cashiers to the waiter to management

HUGE breakfast burrito was good, but needed some extra kick. Nice little neighborhood Mexican restaurant that is a good option for a quick family meal dining in or carrying out, but most of what Ive eaten here is good, not great. Pleasant interior and friendly staff make up somewhat for what the food lacks.

We have enjoyed Elote but the last 4 times they have gotten our order wrong. I was clear over the phone, had the order repeated back to me, and the order was still wrong. Its hard to open certain foods to ensure its what you ordered (ex. burrito, enchiladas). I hate to say it but we wont return.

The food is very good and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The owners were great to chat with and really seem to enjoy running a good local Mexican option. Prices seem fine to me - not sure why others complain in the reviews. Its very standard pricing for the area.

Give me the fish tacos with black beans and cilantro lime rice please! The price is right and the food is fresh at Elote, so take the whole family here for dinner. Just one (inexpensive) menu makes it a great option for dinner if you have a big crew to feed.

Great food every time and the prices cannot be beat. Generous servings, the food is always warm, and the staff is always friendly. Comprehensive gluten free menu options that are good for anyone who is celiac. We highly recommend.

Americanized Mexican food. it was too salty for me, that took the joy out of eating there. I was not impressed with it, will not be returning, there are much better and many other places to eat Authentic Mexican nearby.

The food being TexMex is very expensive. Only two tacos at $8.99. The enchilada was not completely cooked and hard to chew. The totilla soup was not great. The only food worth the time is the Elote. It was delicious.

Breakfast tacos here are great. Lunch/dinner menu is above average. The dining area is somewhat small. Staff is always very nice. My wife and I enjoy coming here when in the mood for close Mexican street type food.

Their food is not as good as when they first opened. The queso is runny and everything is pretty bland tasting. It took a long time for us to get our chips and meal even though the restaurant was empty.

Amazing customer service! Took our family with 3 kids under 5 years old and had multiple staff go out of their way to help us with little things at the table. Good food, great portions.

The neighborhood was definitely needing some tex-mex, and Elote certainly fits the bill. Delicious, not over-done, at a good price. Great place to dine in or carry out for the family.

The food is always spot on, the staff quick and friendly. I saw one person hustling around doing everything except cook. Alcohol served, and kids eat free for every $10 on Tuesdays.

Just got delivery from Elote and it was friggin awesome! You are doing yourself a disservice if you dont check this place out the next time you get the urge for some Mexican food.

First time here. Casa salad with braised beef is delicious. Place is fairly small and nicely decorated. Order when you walk in and get your food when called. Reasonable prices.

Food is overpriced and not very tasty... tacos are tiny and not very flavorful. Queso was soupy and didnt taste like queso at all. Overall not a place Id recommend.

Great tex mexican food. I recommend ordering the Andre Special with the cilantro lime rice, Charo beans, and the mushroom cream sauce on top of the chicken.
