A nice place that serves some classic barbecue dishes, such as brisket, as well as some other classic southern dishes, including fried catfish. I had the catfish last time I was there and found it to be good, especially since I am originally from New Orleans and have pretty high expectations for seafood. The catfish was thick cut but not too soft. It was crispy and had a good breading, with thin grain corn meal, unlike most attempts outside of New Orleans. The service here is also always very friendly. I come here fairly often and try different dishes most of the time. I also had a Long Island Iced Tea the last time I was there and I found it to be very balanced in its flavors and just generally well-made. Overall, I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a nice, southern or barbecue dish with a soul food flair.

I have been to this location multiple times, it being a family favorite, but its gotten worse over the years. This last visit was awful. The brisket I had ordered was mostly fat and rubbery. They didnt put a lot on the sandwich either. Our waitress never smiled. She always seemed to take her time to eventually wander to our table to take our orders or ask questions. The decor was great, I love the old saxophone, an instrument I play, and the good music. The worst was the loud drunks at the table across from us, the screaming baby, and the kid at the table behind us that would stand and blankly stare at us eat. But they cant be blamed for their awkward customers I suppose. All in all, I wont come back and I wont recommend it.

I ate here today and had a great experience. Stephanie was on point and delivered a personable experience. I require gluten free by allergy not option and RH&B expertly delivered. Their GF options are extensive. I got the meat sampler platter so I could provide a better review. Each meat had excellent flavor and was cooked perfectly. The signature BBQ sauce was out of this world with flavor. The spicy sauce was executed perfectly, spice as a flavor not just for sake of being spicy. Manager was a visible leader and followed up with me on my experience. I would definitely recommend this place and will eat here the next time I roll through town. Hopefully no ice next time

The manager was awesome and our waitress was so friendly and very attentive, the food was fantastic, the prices were great. The drinks were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. My family and I left so stuffed and very satisfied and we cant wait to go back. My kids are very picky eaters and found themselves eating and enjoying food that they wouldnt normally enjoy. The atmosphere is mello, so if you want to enjoy a great meal for good prices try this place.

First time here - I stopped in to pick up a quick To-Go meal. Young lady at the takeout desk was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the chicken wings I ordered did not match the quality of her service. Wings looked and tasted like they were six months old. But the onion ring basket was good, so it was 50/50. Ill probably go back because they have a great menu. Will not get the wings again thats for sure! Im all for second chances so hopefully my next meal will be better.

Had the Tennessee Triple. Ordered pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. Got chicken, sausage, and brisket. Chicken had no flavor. Sausage was good; very mild smoke flavor that I wish I had more. Brisket was good. Im not a big brisket guy, but it was good. House sauce is Texas style...it was just missing something. All in all, it was good. If I lived in the area, Id probably try to find someplace else for my BBQ. Good for a business trip.

Our waiter, Pedro was very helpful and friendly. My wife had never visited here before so he explained all the menu and barbecue sauces to her. All the food was excellent. The meat here is actually smoked for hours on end, so you always get an amazing natural smoky meat flavor. If you like barbecue this is the place for you. If you like the Memphis blues type of music this is the place for you.

We finally stopped to try Red Hot and Blue in Las Colinas. We love it!! Our favorites are the Beef Brisket, Cole Slaw and biscuits. But the ribs and pulled pork took a close second. But dont forget the hush puppies too!! Our waitress, Allison, guided us thru the menu and their sauces. You can tell that she loves her job. We are already planning our next visit.

Good service but the meat taste like it came from an oven rather than a proper smoker. I had the dry rub ribs and meh. Also the potato salad was like mashed potatoes...ok place for a quick stop but proper barbecue lives in Coppell at Hard Eight bbq. Promise they will ruin red hot and blue for you if you cant wait in the out the door line (my problem last night)

I had the Idaho Pig baked potato and the skin on the potato was so hard that it was inedible but when the manager came by and inquired and I told him he immediately got us another one. My husband had a trio meat platter and everything was satisfactory with it. The atmosphere was bluesy and staff very friendly. I would go again.

I want to believe that I came at a bad hour to this place although it has at least 6 more tables. The service was good but the food was really really bad this is a very poor representation of BBQ all the meats where dry and the ribs where not only dry but old like from a day or so. So not returning to this place any time soon.

The bbq is good. Its fine for a chain. The employees are friendly and attentive. The bar is adequate. There are a few craft beers and the standard big name brands. The bar appears to have an adequate liquor stock. Ive been here a couple of times and Im sure Ill be back a couple of more times. *Sodium Phosphate Warning

The barbeque sauce was just terrible. It was like someone poured A1 sauce in some ketchup. I expected a lot better from a barbeque place. The food was very mild and un-flavorful (even the cole slaw and beans). On the other hand, the people were very nice and so was the atmosphere. Just dont go there for the food.

Excellent Gluten Free Options! The BBQ sauces and most of the sides are all gluten free. The meat is fantastic. They do serve it with bread which I just did not eat and none of the dessert is gluten free but the rest is fantastic. Excellent food! Great service and wonderful for people with allergies.

Went on a Sunday morning and it wasnt too busy. Food was good. Ordered onion rings, sweet ribs, sausage sandwich and a meat sampler platter. Easily split the sampler platter with husband. Good portions of meat. We liked the okra and hush puppies, but wanted rolls instead of sweet biscuits.

Cobb Salad: 4 out of 5 burps. Hey I know! Lets get some BBQ! Yaaaaaay! Oh never mind, I want a salad instead. Yeah so thats what happened. I changed my mind about what I wanted once we got here. Pretty typical salad so theres not much to talk about. Its good. Yep, there you go.
