*GOT SICK FROM THE FOOD* How do I give a negative star. Oh my GOD! I planned my wedding reception with the manager Terry for 2 months. We had the back room downstairs. It was supposed to be a simple 1 hour party for my cake cutting and the bouquet toss, etc. We were not planning to eat or drink there on a open tab, only separate tickets. Simple right? Nope! Terry called me as my guests were arriving and asked me how to do the check. I said SEPERATE CHECKS! This was CONFIRMED! They had the fans positioned all wrong. The room was so humid that we could not stand it. We all ordered drinks and food. Then we went up to the deck for 10 min to do the bouquet toss and the waitstaff THREW OUT ALL OF OUR DRINKS AND FOOD! They claimed they thought we left yet our cake setup was clearly there untouched. Then the guest were all ready to go 1.5 hours later, yet none of the food or drinks had came! The waitstaff claimed they had no idea it wasnt separate checks and put it all on one tab! Terry decided to stick my dad with the tab, the tab of a long list of drinks and food that never made it to us. Expecting us to pay for their faults and mistakes. I was in my wedding dress upstairs trying to fix this with both managers LIVID. How do you mess up two months of planning and a phone confirmation that happened 30 minutes prior to the occasion? How???? All they did was take the food off our ticket, which most didnt recieve anyways and take 15% off the bill. There was no way to prove what was what and I feel like we completely got taken advantage of. Not to mention one of our guest got FOOD POISONING from the crab dip. She was throwing up the entire night! This place gets two thumbs down. I cant believe how unprofessionally this place is managed! I hope to warn anyone of ever planning any event or even eating here. Its just not safe, clearly! I am so glad I didnt eat there! Take my advise, just DONT come here! Thanks for almost running my wedding, I hope everyone reads this and listens to me!

EXCELLENT! We live near Galveston & Kemah and have our pick of fresh seafood at any time. On our way home from Corpus we were looking for seafood with a water view. Paradise Key just happened to come up on my Google maps search so we gave it a try. THE BEST SEAFOOD weve had in years! The crab cake tops our list of suggestions. We actually ordered a second one it was so delicious. Calamari planks were also great! Steak fry size pieces not those chewey rings & mini squid. My son had popcorn shrimp off the kid menu & it was BIG. He said it was the best he ever had too. I ordered pan seared flounder with etouffee topping and my piece of fish was huge & cooked perfectly. My other son had fish & chips and he cleaned his plate as well. I cant remember our servers name but she was excellent. We didnt have to remind her of anything and our service wasnt slow at all. We sat out on the covered patio in August & we didnt break a sweat. They have fans & the shade & breeze on the water was perfect. The restrooms were spotless & the coolest part of those were the chalkboard walls! My daughter loved that! The only negative thing I have to say is that its 3 hrs from our house. Cant wait to go back. Oh - and also try the shrimp burger! Ground shrimp no beef but delish!!!!

Maybe I hit them on a bad night. I want to be unbiased but it was God awful. Service was slow, took 25 minutes to get our food. The fish was ridiculously dry. No amount of tartar sauce helped. The crab cake was decent, the green beans very much overseasoned. There was quite a significant amount of pepper on the bottom of my plate. My buddy orders the fried platter and to my amazement, dry. It takes a lot of skill to make fried food dry. He looked at me and said it tastes like fish sticks no joke. So I being the curious person I am had to try. Hes never lied to me before and still hasnt. For the price, I am very dissatisfied. If someone drops a C note, it shouldnt be like this.

What a total rip off. Talk about abuse the tourist. I ordered the jumbo shrimp with rice and green beans and a couple of extra sides. What turned up was an apology of a meal 5 small shrimp with fries and coleslaw : missing the jumbo shrimp and the base of the meal. When challenged the manager had the audacity to argue with me that the apology of a shrimp was in fact jumbo and then told me that I had not ordered the main meal but the other sides instead of the main. And when I say argue - in my face and so massively rude. This was a truly awful experience and I will never return. Shame on Rockport for positioning this business as an example of what is good about the city.

Went for lunch with my family and was terribly disappointed. We had 4 small children and waited OVER AN HOUR for our meal. When it finally arrived, we received no apology or acknowledgement of how long we waited. The worst part is that the FOOD WAS COLD and stale. We waited all that time with the children hungry and growing more impatient by the minute - only to relieve food that sat under a lamp in the kitchen for God knows how long. We mentioned it to our waiter, and they gave us a $6 discount off of our bill (which was well over $100). Dont eat here. What a waste of time and money.

I LOVED Paradise when they were in Key Allegro and I loved them when they opened back up. Recently, Ive just had poor experience after poor experience while watching their prices increase. Im not against paying good for a great meal, but if I can get the same frozen shrimp at another joint for half the price Ill go there. I will say the view is great and I like what theyve done with the bar. I will continue to take out of town friends there for the experience but I hope I can come back in a few months and change my review.

Food was good for not being a "fancy" restaurant. Prices were reasonable. We come to the beach every year and are always looking for some good seafood and are always left disappointed. This place isnt super fancy, but the food is good and we didnt leave disappointed or feeling we wasted our money. Its a good atmosphere for those who like live music. Theres a dock to fish right outside as well as an outdoor patio with a bar. Inside the AC is nice and chill so its wonderful for the humid Texas heat.

There are so many different gorgous views here, with a vast menu and fun staff. Above all excellent food. Although a little pricy you definitely get what you pay for fresh caringly prepared food for each guest. Love this place....if youre looking for a good drink they have a great bar. During peak times the wait can be long but its worth waiting for, and they have wait staff to take care if you while you are waiting on a table. They have inside, inclosed outside, and downstairs patio seating.
