I enjoy watching games here, but Champps gets only one start from me until they stop lying (or whatever THEY call it) by saying they do offer "Steak Fries". I brought this to the attention of the manager in April. He took my "Pencil Fries" off of my heck because they were not "Steak Fries" as I had ordered. The manager said "Yeah, well its not lying or false advertising because its just a habit that the servers call them "Steak Fries" because we used to offer "Steak Fries" and then we stopped so the servers are just used to calling them "Steak Fries"... Huh? Am I missing something? So what if you used to have a Porsche, but you sold it last year and bought a Ford instead, would you keep telling people you had a Porsche, even when they can see that it is obviously a Ford? Ok its a little different perhaps, but it doesnt change the fact that Steak Fries are NOT Steak Fries if they are Pencil Fries. They cannot be both! Bring back the Steak Fries, OR stop telling people that you do in fact have Steak Fries? Have I made my point? The manager said in April that he would change that, but now still today they are calling them Steak Fries! Its not just about the Steak Fries, its about principle. Tell your customers what they are REaLLY getting when they order stuff!

Its a shame with all these really good reviews, Id really like to like this place, but they must all be smokers or smoking tolerant and if you are in that group, its fully your right to do so. To all non smokers out there whos dining environment is as important as the food which you consume, youll have to make the choice to tolerate cigarette smoke with your food or go elsewhere. They indicated that this was going to change, not sure if thats by choice or by law, but that matters not, that wet ashtray environment is whats here. That wont be going away soon, if ever. But why settle when there are SOOO many other restaurants out there to choose from where this isnt an issue? Maybe thats the point, maybe this is the smokers paradise cornering that patronage? If so thats a great business plan as municipalities continue to mandate non smoking by law. So this is a great place for smokers, but if youre not, then not so much.... at the end of a day i guess its just YOUR choice.

Overall my experience was good. I do wonder why the wait staff try to remember the orders and they no longer write things down. I try to ask for all of the things I am going to want right off the top. I hate it when the order comes and I still have to wait for the extra dressing or butter when I asked for it at the time of my order. The last time I went I know that guy had to go back at least 3 times. We had three people at our table. That was three different orders (with sides and certain requests) and three different drinks. He didnt write anything down. He was nice but he thought we were giving him a hard time or being demanding. However we asked for those things off the top.

Wreaks of cigarette smoke. The "bar" area is smoking which is a few feet from the non-smoking seating area. The whole place smells like ass. The staff is really friendly. I pity them going home smelling like this. The food looks good but its hard to tell what it really tastes like with the overwhelming smell. Props for having gluten free options. Dont come here unless you enjoy smelling like an old ashtray. Im just appalled that they allow smoking in what would otherwise be a fine restaurant. My review was a single star until Veronicas service brought it up to 3. Props to her.

Liked the service and the Happy Hour. Great half price appetizers! A "medium" beer is 22 oz! Wow. Didnt like that for a SPORTS bar, the TCU basketball tourney game was nowhere to be found, in fact, nothing live was on any monitor, and they did not seem in any rush to find anything live when I asked for the game. Took them 20 minutes to put the game on one tiny TV, just in time for the freaking END OF THE GAME. Thanks for that. Geez. Also, did not like the smoky atmosphere at the bar.

I really like this restaurant om week days or weekends. It just has that vibe of relaxing and enjoying a meal or going to watch a game with some friends. I also like the fact that is very spacious for large parties or private parties. Their menu selection is big enough as well and depending who is at the bar sometimes the drinks are more then perfect!! Love coming here, especially in the the winter season, it just makes me feel cozy and warm with great food and drinks.

can I give 0 stars? champps REALLY sucks, they charge $5 cover for ufc and only display the event on a couple of screens, and college football on the other 15 screens, when we asked if we could get the channel changed on the tv in front of us management said college football is more popular than ufc. I said if you arent going to show the event where people can see it then why charge a $5 "ufc" cover? we all left and will never go back.

Arrived after scheduling a reservation with a large party of 12. We were squeezed into a small space with the only view of the kitchen. When we made the manager Will aware; we were told our satisfaction was not his primary concern since we werent his only guests. He said he was short staffed and would not guarantee good service if we moved to a new section. My party of 12 was completely appalled. Wow?!

They do it right here, the staff is friendly, the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. I frequent the karaoke night on Wednesdays, host and dj are on point, all good vibes, one less star simply because I think they need to have more drink specials, it can get a little pricy. Overall I think its a great place to get a bite to eat, watch a game, or chill with the broskis after work.

I have been coming to this place for years. It used to be by the office building I worked at, so became a usual happy hour meeting spot. I visit less frequently nowadays but it is always fun. The food is great, beer selection could include more local craft beer (although it is getting better it seems). The steaks are a bit overpriced for what they are, considering Keg is right next door.

The food was great, the atmosphere was pretty cool but the service wasnt as I had hoped. I came with a friend and we had a table close to the entrance. We ordered the appetizer platter and an extra app with beverages. The waitress stood for a second and asked if we were sure thats IT? So she seemed definitely disappointed we didnt order full on meals. That just happens sometimes, though.

Tonight, everything we ordered was terrible. The drinks were watered down and the appetizers lacked flavor. We ordered the sampler platter and every selection left a lot to be desired. Only the chicken strips and BBQ sauce tasted good. On the up side, our server was outstanding. She capably served a large group of more than 22. She never showed us anything but a smile.
