The sushi was good. I would have given more stars but there was an order mix up. I ordered a roll with spicy tuna in it, was handed a roll and they said spicy tuna. Not thinking about anything, I started eating it. On my last bite they came again and handed me a Firecracker roll, which has spicy tuna in it and was actually what I had ordered. I flagged the server, told her of the mistake and she apologized to me, I said it was my fault for not making sure it was what I ordered. Throughout my meal they brought 3 more meals to my spot in the bar and I refused them since they were not mine. When I got the check, I was charged for the roll they brought me on accident. I did eat it...on accident...and I did eat the actual roll I ordered, but since it was not my mistake, I do not feel I should have been charged for the roll I did not order. You obviously need a better method of telling the people who bring out the food who it belongs to. I had to pay for your mistake though I must confess it was still worth it.

The Blue Fish is always an incredible experience. Expect to spend about $35 per person for dinner. Rolls are $10 to $20 each, and most of them are amazing. I havent had any bad ones, but I have been disappointed a couple times (the Samurai sounded incredible in the description but didnt really have any flavor to it). The Cherry and Blue Fish rolls were incredible during my latest visit. Cherry is very sweet, so be expecting that. Table dining is very nice for a date, but if youre just going for a casual meal solo or with a friend and want a slightly more lively experience, go sit at the sushi bar in the very back behind the table dining. I do not recommend sitting at the bar right at the very front; its too busy there. HAPPY HOUR. GO. Their Happy Hour is incredible and also uncharacteristically cheap when compared to their dinnertime price point. You can walk out of an after-work meal [with beers] for roughly $10.

We had summer rolls which were fresh "spring rolls" elsewhere that were generously stuffed with crab. They were wonderful. We both had variations of sashimi and salad. My mix of sashimi and a little cooked calamari was very good. I chose the ginger dressing. She had the sesame crusted tuna. It was at room temp and quite excellent. The candied pecans in her salad were a nice touch, while mine had mango and orange as an accent. We both thought the fresh tomato was odd and didnt pair well. We both had a nice glass of wine with dinner. Was nice to see the Caymus Conundrum by the glass. I object a little to the techno music and it was a little loud in the cavernous dining room, with all its hard surfaces. Wed definitely go back.

I went the other day about 2pm, sat at the bar and wanted to get a beer and a little food. Even though I showed up on $2 draft day, when I ordered a draft I was told that price is "only at night" which came across really vague, no time given, and that wasnt specified on the menu. Whatever, get the draft which was pretty good but the reason I came in was the sushi. Overall the bartender was polite but when the food came out I swear the sushi rice looked like it came from a Mexican restaurant. Nothing against Mexican food but sushi rice is supposed to be super white and clean looking, this looked like it was scrapped from the bottom of the pan... Dont think Ill be back

Fresh and delicious sashimi. Mediocre service with one waitress having to manage too many tables. It would be helpful if the menu had pictures. It was difficult to choose which rolls to order based on just a description of the ingredients because many of the rolls have almost the same ingredients. Pricing was relatively reasonable based on the good quality of the food. 2 sushi rolls, salmon sashimi 6 pieces, and 2 meso soups ended up costing around $52.00 including the tip. Feel free to read my other reviews for other great restaurants in the area

I used to LOVE coming here with my husband. Sadly, I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! I was at the bar enjoying a child free night with my husband, drinking sake, eating sushi. All of a sudden my husband and I see a ROACH on the bar! I was so disgusted that a cockroach came running by where I eat my food. This was the second time that had happened. We paid and Left!! If you have roaches in the bar area, what is the back like? I really like this place but I have to find another place to eat from now on.

No one greeted us at the door for 10 minutes , so we left an went next door to the most amazinggggg sushi we have EVER eaten in 48 yrs ! Service , presentation, flavor , taste , atmosphere! They are so worth the stop ! Great job guys ! Its verrry hard to get a 5 star from me , congrats !

Seemed nice, came inside the seat by the bar has really loud music. The food tasted pretty good. I am not a regular sushi or sashimi eater by any means so I asked what I should get. ( also am gluten and dairy free right now doctors orders) and the lady was helpful with that. And they have gluten free soysauce so that was nice but drink options for that was very limited. The sashimi was tasty and I got 2 samplers. And also yellowtail rolls.

The sushi seems fresh here, but I always come away from this place feeling that the price is just too high. I normally expect a high price from sushi places, but this restaurant has high-pitched items and it feels, simultaneously, like they serve very small portions. I understand a la carte is going to cost you a bit more but this place still seems to take price just one more step too far. Thus, four stars instead of five.

I really enjoyed this place while visiting town. Food was great and the service was awesome. After half our order was forgotten to be put in, they not only got it to us very quickly after we questioned about it, they graciously gave us the meal for free as well as some delicious drinks. They definitely took good care of us and I really liked the atmosphere and cant wait to visit again!

Really good sushi and lots of drink options. Only downer I have is the service was very slow even though the place wasnt that crowded on a Wednesday evening. I would come again but hopefully I get some better and quicker service. Seriously has been maybe 30 minutes since ordering the shrimp tempura sushi before we got it and I waited for it just to take a picture for this review.

Great sushi. Service has been really good to sometimes fair. Our first date was at Blue Fish do a little sentimental. Even though the price is high, the sushi is really fresh and good. Drinks are good too, but Ive never spent time at the bar. Ive only ordered along with dinner. I definitively recommend Blue Fish for high quality sushi especially for date night!
