Ive been here twice; first time I got the fish tacos, second time I got the San Fran melt. The fish tacos were a good buy, though a little messy. The san fran melt was not worth it; Skimpy on the fries and the burger tasted like it came out of a box-o-frozen burgers. All the workers seem really nice, but I guess I just have to find whats worth it on the menu.

I like this place. The theme is from a 1950s diner, the service food is good and my order was cooked right. The only negative review that I have is that the portions do not match the price compared to other cafes I have been to but I was still satisfied with my meal. Its location is convenient, right off of 635 and Belt Line. I will definitely stop by again.

Placed couple orders (coworkers) over phone. Declined as they wouldnt take cards over phone for pickup, yet can place order with cash? Upon arrival, those of us with card, did not carry a DL, so stated by cashier you need an ID. We only have 1/2 hour of lunch. Burger wise, not any better, rather smash burgers than this for same price! A lot less hassle.

I just came back to the office from eating a breakfast special that was great. Biscuits and Gravy = HUGE biscuit/roll and sausage cream gravy. Bacon is crispy, two eggs? Must be dinosaur eggs as big of a serving as it was. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, service was great, will definitely return.

The service and food are usually good although they slip occasionally. By far the best thing is the atmosphere which has a cozy small-town feel in the middle of the big city. After eating I like to linger over coffee and watch the planes fly into DFW from the north. Great for slowing down and relaxing.

One of.. if not the best diners I have been to! Food portions are the best, prices are so affordable and service was excellent "Sue" had the biggest welcoming smile. Food taste like home cooking.. Such ashame Ive been to this hotel so often and its my first time here! Wont be my last!!!!

It was a nice place to have breakfast and lunch at. It is Reasonably priced and has a wide variety of items in different types preparations. One can find healthy options as well as indulging items as well. I also liked the ambience. Its in the form of 50s diners. Loved it.

Local Diner is a purveyor of classic American Diner fare. Excellent menu from top to bottom. Unique items like corned beef hash and liver and onions, plus a whole lot more. The atmosphere is great and the staff is responsive and friendly. Love visiting when we can!

Good food and friendly service. Only I have negative about this diner is alot of the menu items in the breakfast do not have details. Some do not come with hash browns.. you have to ask. All items should say what comes with each meal.

This place is awesome and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the French Toast Plate with bacon and eggs. Overall great service and the rock and roll atmosphere is definitely a plus for those nostalgic about the 50s and 60s.

The food is really delicious with some original creations, the pancakes are gigantic (plate filling). Super crisp bacon, if thats what you want. I watched them dressing a cake while we were there. Highly recommended!

I orderd eggs and toast with hashbrowns. It was ridiculous! The hashbrowns were hard and almost burned, eggs cold and bread hard. $5 and some change, not worth it at all, my first and last time at this diner!

The breakfast was awesome. Chicken fried steak with gravy, eggs, grits and toast. Mmmmm. Very good. Service with a smile, and I never had to look around to get my drink refilled. Overall a great experience.

We come here a lot, the food is great! However, one thing they can improve it the coffee, it tastes like its very watered down. I really hope they get a better brand of coffee. Would definitely still come.
