We rarely eat out because its expensive, but every now and then crispy chicken strips and gravy are a must. When we go to Chicken Express, we get enough for the whole family which is usually a little over $50. On our last visit to the Euless location, they forgot the gravy (we always order extra gravy and they didnt give us any), so I went back up there. After looking at the receipt, talking to someone else (manager maybe), she brought over the gravy and said yeah, sorry about that, were training. So let me get this straight....youre not only checking orders, but youre teaching people to check orders and with 2 people checking, they somehow miss 3 containers of gravy?? So by the time I got home with the gravy, nothing was hot and crispy. Last night, I went by the Hurst location and waited about 15 min or so...not complaining because I didnt have to go home and cook, so as long as it was hot and fresh, I was going to be happy with it. Everything was in the bag, got home, started making plates only to find that the 3 containers of gravy are luke warm and very runny....not even almost gravy consistency!! So after spending over $100 in the last month or so and not getting to really enjoy the meal either time, Im done with Chicken Express. You cant even email the company, you have to contact the store manager. After the experience at the Euless location where the employee talked to the manager/supervisor/team leader and that person did not acknowledge me, Im not interested in calling, Im just done.

I had stopped in for a six piece liver dinner about 7pm on 12/13/12. When I placed the order the nice man taking my order ask the young man that was cooking, how long ago did you put out the livers. The young lady working the drive though yelled out “He just put them out!”. I should have known right then to turn and walk out but instead I paid my $7 and waited for my livers and green beans. I drove 10 min. to my house. I opened the box and found hard and extremely dried out liver. I called back up there to ask the manager to throw out the liver so no one will get sick from it. Without any hesitation he asked “Do you want to come back up here or you want me to send you a card for a free meal?” I told him to just make sure to not sell anymore so no one will get sick from them. He said “ok”. I really don’t have any kind of hope that they actually threw them out. Why would I want to go back to a place to eat that doesn’t care what quality of food they serve their patrons??

Probably the best chicken tenders and gravy around and the sides are all fantastic but if you want your order to go (correct) or good customer service (workers who do their job) ....sorry, not served here. 3 times in a row my drive thru order was wrong. The last time I even called an employee back to the window to verify alls well. He said "yes" and gave me the completely wrong bag. Lastly, WAY OVERPRICED!! I guess its time to test the many other chicken tender spots. So many..where do I begin! ✌

The meal was worth almost three stars (it wasnt very fresh, but still okay for 3:00pm on a Wednesday) until I found the HAIR that wasnt mine in my combo #1. This is an automatic one-star-and-close-the-box issue. I just realized Im not very hungry. Ill spare you all by not taking a photo of the hair and posting it, but Id be lying if I said I wasnt tempted to! Ugh. Ill throw in some photos of the outside of the building instead.

I LOVE Chicken Express, I at least eat it 2 times a week. But at this location they dont have Root Beer (As the Euless location does) and a Employee at this Hurst location told me that they wont ever have Root Beer because people are going to buy their food anyways. I now go out of my way to eat at the Euless location and refuse to eat here. They are also charge more then other Chicken Expresses.

3rd time here all 3 disappointing. I think the main problem is coming off peak eating hours. I walked in for chicken to go and saw a big mound of chicken already made. That should have been my first clue. Got the chicken home, it was dry and tough. You could tell it was not very fresh. The biscuits were cold and dry. All around very disappointing. Wont be going back to this location.

The worst place ever I rather eat frozen chicken tenders. The employees are rude and manners, the employee Samantha was way to rude and annoying rolling her eyes and popping her teeth. Also the other one named Diana she just looked so unprofessional and looked kinda dirty. Im never coming back ever

The restaurant was clean, the chicken and apple pie were hot and fresh, but the fries were not, something I didnt discover until I got home along with finding out I was missing a biscuit with my meal. Wasnt worth it to drive 15 minutes back in rush hour traffic.

I absolutely love their chicken tenders here. They are my favorite chicken place mainly because of the generous portions they give you. Their sides are nearly always freshly prepared for you. And you always get more chicken then what you ordered.

We drive past other Chicken Express locations to this one. The cooking oil used is always fresh and hot enough that not a lot clings. The catfish is better than most fish places. The seating area is always clean and neat.

Ahh Chicken E! Love their chicken strips and the mini poppers are the best anywhere (cheese stuffed jalapeno that is deep fried). Location could be better.
