At the time we ate here it had just opened. The service is excellent and the food is pretty tasty too. Upon entry to this place you have to take an immediate right to go through the line where you select your food. A little confusing for the first timer but once you go back you wont forget. You go in, grab a tray and some silverware, place your order, scoop your own sides, get a drink, and dessert if you so choose (the pecan pie was pretty good), and pay at the end of the line. If you have kids or your hands full the staff will offer to carry your tray for you. The only downside was there were a few seats on the south side of the building that got blasted by the AC, so much so that our caused the light fixtures above the table to sway and made for an unpleasant chill ever now and again. Not a deal breaker. I had the brisket and sausage with macaroni and cheese and it was everything I expected. The meat was tender, not a lot of fat, and carried its flavor well. The side was also good, the cheese was not too runny nor to clumpy and was plenty flavorful. The restrooms were impressively clean given the amount of traffic too.

When I ask the girl for a roll , she had to go to every table before she finally got over to us .. then she says sorry but I have a routine that I have to follow . I thought well she sure didnot have to follow her routine as I watched her cater to all her kinfolks sitting right next to us !!! Oh my not only did she bring them rolls right away but she stopped several times to talk and laugh with them and managed to even bring them their favorite choice of ice cream while every one else had the only choice of vanilla .. well you can bet I want be back at this Tomball parkway location !! I never had any problem with the one on 2920 location , so even tho this place is new they just lost my business ...

New barbecue place near my old residential area. I have little experience with barbecue places, but I could tell this place was great. We took the family here, so I was able to try a variety of the meats. Very good. Not too expensive. There was a self-serve sides option, which was very efficient. One of the best parts was the free rolls and Ice cream. The rolls were baked fresh. I know this because they bake them right near the entrance. So buttery and hot. Mmmm. The ice cream is Blue Bell, which uses high fructose corn syrup. Dont recommend that. But hey, its free and served in a nice glass.

The Brisket was mediocre and the sausage was pretty good. The BBQ sauce was terrible, it was not very balanced in taste and had a hint of vinegar and was bitter. The beans were made using the BBQ sauce, so they were inedible. The staff were friendly. The only thing good we had to say beyond that was that it was better than Papas BBQ. We wont be going back when there are better choices in BBQ.

The food is consistently great and the prices are affordable. The atmosphere is almost like your attending a family barbecue. The always hot a fresh yeast rolls that they bring to the table are unbelievable. The homemade cobblers, pies, and banana pudding is the best. One visit to Spring Creek Barbecue and you are a customer for life.

Great brisket and eribs. I love their green beans and mac&cheese! Spring Creek BBQ is one of the best chain BBQ restaurants In Houston. This location is no different. Even though its right off of 249 past Jones Rd. Its still rather unknown. The service and the food is excellent. Youll get your food fast and be glad you did!

Ordered to go. Best bbq in the immediate area, brisket was a lil fatty for my taste but overall great flavor. The slaw was awesome. Ive had friends comment on their smoked turkey being excellent, will try it next visit.

Tried it for the first time today and will definitely be back! Lean meats, green beans like my Grandma used to make, delicious rolls and a nice selection of deserts. No room for that today, but I will try in the future!

Not bad. Hot rolls are very good. Dont pick one up when youre in line, wait for the hot ones. P.S.: Just call it fatty brisket like everyone else. Youre not kidding anybody.
