I have been here more times than I can count. It is kind hidden since its nested in the back of a shopping center but there are two huge signs that say MOVIE on them. if you cant find it youre either blind or not considering that it might be in the shopping center google tells you its in. The food is decent and I think a lot of people are expecting something ritzy from a "dinner theater" but really its just an average restaurant with a theater. I wouldnt brag on anything but the menu does have some decent choices. All together its nothing amazing but its much better than a choice of overpriced popcorn or stale hot dogs. The service is always different. Ive had some of the best service and the worst but never anyone that was downright rude. You just never really know how its going to turn out but that doesnt mean its going to be bad. If anyone ever has a seriously bad experience Id recommend just explaining it to the manager. The restaurant portion is nice but putting that aside, I love this theater! The actual theaters are small but the screens are proportionality sized. It feels like a cross between those mini-home theaters you see on tv and the regular theaters at other cinemas. You have the choice of either classic styled cinema seating with every other chair sharing a small fixed table or a bar style with loose seating and recessed lighting. If find it very comfortable and never had a problem with quality. If you prefer the bunched and crowded oversize theater experience though it probably isnt your cup of tea. Oh and they tea btw... hot and sweat. Try getting that from your standard showing.

Went to see the movie breath, with my daughter. We went to the 8:20 showing. Tried to go to the 7:40 p.m. showing but theater did not have back seats available to accommodate my handicap child. I asked the manager can I get a refund since the movie had not start she said no. She told me there was a 8:20 showing and I could see that movie with my daughter. My server was a short chubby black guy. I ordered fried pickles which was $ 8.59 cents . The server came and brought me my bill and I placed the exact change in the black wallet . At the end of the movie my server tells me I did not have the correct money and I short changed him. I told him I did give him the correct change and he must have lost the change. He started to get really loud with me as a result I missed the end of the movie arguing with him over 20 cents. when I came out of the movie theater he was pointing at me to the manager saying I was a cheat. I told the manager I did give this guy the correct change, he must have lost it. I also told her many times I come there I dont get any change from my money. The manager rudely said I let you pass this time, like Im some sort of liar. This theater has gone down hill rude servers and managers. One day I went to the movies and I had a roach crawling on my seat. I only come to this theater cause it is close to my home . Today my last visit!!!!!!

This is the best deal in town for first run movies. I have never been disappointed by this theater. The service I have received has always been fast and correct. The times I have needed something I simply pressed the button for service and the staff have always been fast to check on me. Some have complained about the staff only coming back to check on you at the beginning and at the end of the movie to give you the food bill, but isnt that how it is supposed to be? I prefer not to be bothered by waitstaff checking on me while watching a movie. There is stale odor throughout the entire building, but I have found this same odor at every bar/restaurant/movie theater that I have visited (yes, that means Alamo Drafthouse). Aside from the odor, the place is nice with clean restrooms. The place is located in a dying shopping center and it can be a little intimidating, but I have never had a problem parking there. The price of the ticket is the lowest you will find for first run movies. They also offer matinee specials on the weekends. Since I have a family, I mostly attend this place to watch children movies and it is difficult to watch one of these movies without a child interrupting, but I have come to expect that from these sort of screenings.

You cant rate a place by its patrons and their activities. Unless the place blatantly caters towards those type of people. If they charged more per movie then maybe the types of people you dont like (kids) will attend less. With that I rate it two stars from the companies services. Two things that make me so mad that I quit going and drive over to the Alamo draft house in Vintage park now. First the staff is incompetent. It is because of their young age but this lack of intelligence in something so simple as servicing people and giving them WHAT THEY ASK FOR is pretty basic. An orange goes with a blue moon and no you dont need to tell me you have never heard of that and a lime is different than a lemon. It is and always will be every time I ask every time I go.Secondly and more importantly is the state of the theaters. The seat arm rests are chewed up to where you are on bare metal when you rest your arm and the seats are dirty, sticky and obviously not afforded attention. I can drag a TV in the yard and download the videos off of torrent and sit in the dirt while having my child serve me if I wanted this. Why pay for it? Well, I dont. Unless you are low income or have a ton of children swallow the drive and the money and go elsewhere.

This movie tavern is a long way from where it could be. But the new mng mr. David seems to genuinely care about his guest and make every effort to fix any problems. I can see things changing for the better already. As a guest who frequents this theater I can say under his mng things have and are changing and I am glad to continue giving my business to them. He has truly started turning it around. Keep up the good work As for the kitchen there is alot to be improved on. The lack of effort from the cooks is disrespectful to guest. Paying half an arm for food or lyrics to be served something that looks and taste like its old is truly horrific. And if u take a bite and dont like it the servers some not all get loud and tell u well why did u even Bite into it if u didnt want it u still have ti pay for it. Sad they are disrespectful yet still try to get a tip. I had a server tell me they would call the cops cuz I didnt tip but said I did and didnt pay my full billabong tip is not I clouded in the bill my final reciept did not match the reciept copy of the store from what I paid I believe items were removed off the bill so she could generate a tip from me yet I refused to leave a tip that is called theft.
