This is one of the Chinese/Viet places that I go to, especially for a quick lunch. Today was pretty bad. The little egg roll appetizers were ok. I ordered the Gen. Tsos chicken and the chicken was pretty rubbery - not sure it was cooked through. The soy sauce flavoring was much too strong. The fried rice it was served with had a lot of pepper for some reason. Pretty distracting. The hot and sour soup was okay. Last and just plain tragic was the fortune cookie. It was actually burnt. In the wrapper it looked pretty brown, but I tried it anyway. Burnt. 2 Stars for the appetizer and soup, but a major fail on everything else. Ill be sticking with China Stix and Hunans down the street for a while.

This place is really good for a cheap chinese buffet. I have sworn off chinese buffets many times before only to find myself succumbing just to try one more. I always hope to prove myself wrong, that not all chinese buffets are disgusting. Well, theyre not. With rare exception they can be good. For me this is one of 2 chinese buffets in Houston that are edible. For 7 dollars thats incredible. The other one is V Star in Gulfgate and its double the price. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a cheap chinese buffet that is acceptably good. There was a shrimp moo goo gai pan thing on the buffet line that was full of nicely cooked vegetables and fresh shrimp.

My wife and I decided decided to pick up dinner one late evening since we were new to the area. Both of our dishes where not good. My dish was supposed to be a orange chicken type dish, but what I got was a over deep fried chicken dish that was so crispy that the inside of the meat was totally crispy. My wife noodle dish actually looked good but I didnt have any taste. So to say the least the best dish we ended up eating was our appetizers which where egg rolls. They got those right LOL. We ate egg 1 egg roll a piece for dinner because the entrees where horrible.

Very friendly staff. Nice soups. Food 8.5 / 10, overall good to excellent. Is a fast food, is not PF Changs or other super fancy restaurant. I would consider this asian restaurant above average to other asian restaurants. Is one of those restaurants you go at night when you dont want to cook or are too busy. Portions are generous. The dinner menu is large. The buffet is weekdays at lunch. Price: Drink + small soup + main dish ~ $11. Would return. Summary: Excellent price, friendly, and good to excellent food quality among other asian restaurants in its class.

Oh my God, this is the best chinese food in the world. Ive since moved to NYC from Houston and I miss this place so much. NYC chinese food tastes like what I imagine hospital food would taste like, horrible. Their House special rice is finger-licking good, I especially like it chock full of shrimp and extra spicy. Im practically drooling over my keyboard right now. Very nice folks, good atmosphere, awesome prices. Id walk in and since I was a regular, they knew my special and made it just perfect. Will definitely step in when next in Houston.

The delivery guy was rude, I signed the receipt and he shoved the receipt back and said tips tips how much tips. The food took over an hour to get to my place which is less than 5 miles from the area and the delivery guy reeks of cigarette smoke. The food tasted terrible and cold. I assume the delivery guy just took a detour cigarette break while delivering my food. Bad, bad and bad - first and last experience. If this is how the chinese and vietnamese do business, I wont be surprised if they go out of business soon.

This is probably the best Chinese Food restaurant in Houston. Im a really big picky eater and I was use to food from NYC and this one restaurant in San Antonio called Golden Wok. Golden Wok has the best fried rice in the world and in trying Chinese restaurants, even in China town in Houston, Happy All was the restaurant with the best fried rice closest to Golden Wok and the food is pretty great for the price. Deff. one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Houston.

Every time I order from here I am reminded as to why I shouldnt ever again. Their staff is rude, their delivery is super slow and their food has lost its quality and the good taste it once had. Never again will I be ordering from this place. Its a shame, I love the spring rolls, it sucks that I never got the ones with my order today. I just cant get over how rude their staff is. Seriously, this place has gone down hill big time.

I havent been to this Happy All in ~6 years -- I went back last week and was quite shocked -- it was very run-down and the food was quite poor. This was never a fancy restaurant and considered by most to be a "hole in the wall" joint, but it really has deteriorated. I was the only person in the restaurant at 12:30 on a weekday -- I think this spoke volumes.

My favorite Chinese takeout/delivery. I have ordered from two other Chinese takeout/delivery and this one is my favorite. I always get delivery and never had any problems. I love the sesame chicken no spicy, it comes spicy. I also love the chicken and broccoli. For the first time today I had their honey chicken wings and they were good and crispy.

I loved the environment of this place, i walked in and was instantly reminded of my grandmothers restaurant. When they brought out the food, the plate was completely full! The food was fresh and very delicious! I highly recommend this place, its one of the best Chinese/Vietnamese Cuisine restaurants Ive been to in a long time.

I have little doubt that this was the worst Chinese I have ever had with the exception of the last time I tried this place 13 yrs ago. My wife and I had a few bites of her BBQ ribs and my Sweet and sour pork and paid the bill, told them that the food was a Big disappointment and then lelf.

Ive only been here once but the food was amazing. I was worried at first because we were the only customers but that just meant we got all the attention. The portions were huge and so delicious. The waiter was really attentive; it was great, some of the best Chinese food in the U.S

Expletive-worthy. Seriously. I dont bother with reviews, but this place is fantastic. The delivery guy was right on time and the food was delicious. Especially the dumpling sauce. Holy cow. We also had the BBQ Beef with Lemongrass and the Chili Pepper Chicken, FYI.

Stopped by for a quick bowl of Pho. The restaurant is not the cleanest place in the world. The beef was low quality and the vegetables were not fresh. Add to this the "why are you bothering me" attitude of the staff leads me to say I will never return.
