First time customer review. Ordered the pasta orleans with blackened shrimp. Pasta cooked well but the creamy sauce was bland and bell peppers were not sautéed. Peppers still had raw taste and snap to them. The shrimp was great but overall, flavor was lacking with this dish. And a bit overpriced for the quality. Another thing to mention is the portion was rather small compared to similar restaurants and you only get one piece of garlic bread with the meal. More is available but only upon request. Waiter was nice but it was dissapointing to be given the bill before given the option of a second drink or dessert even. I didnt understand the rush with service as it was a slow Saturday night with plenty of empty tables around. I had high hopes for this place as it is close to home but unfortunately, I cannot recommend.

If you want good Cajun food that tastes just like home, New Orleans. Avoid this place like the plague. I read the previous reviews about bad service and bland food. It is soooooo true. Just horrible. Do not order anything fried. The only thing that we could stomach was the catfish which was subpar at best. If you are a soda drinker, just dont. Make sure you remind the waiter you dont want lemons in your water, she may still forget anyways. Anyways, just dont eat here. They should rename the restaurant as French Quarters is an insult to anybody from New orleans.....

My husband and I are trying to figure out how this place has been around so long. Food is bland for one AND the waitstaff is weird. Our waiter did not mention the specials at all even though the chalk board had salmon and amberjack and the menu had mostly catfish on it, which I DO NOT eat. The menu was absolutely laughable; plastic 8 x 11 cheap junk for food that is way overpriced. Then the waiter brought us the wrong check. $ 66.00 for crappy food and bo drinks. Wont be back.

OMGGG! I never left the parking lot after saying, let me taste a piece of this catfish! Im from Baton Rouge, La, let me tell yall, NOTHING ARTIFICIAL! Red Beans is off the chain! Cornbread soft, hot, and sweet! Catfish right on time! If you heard of Tonys Seafood in Baton Rouge, Let me tell ya, They have a challenge... Go check this place out... If you dont enjoy the food, go see a doctor, check those taste buds of yours!! God Bless everyone

I LOVE Boiling Crab, Cajun shrimp & Cajun fries is always my go to. The average waiting time is usually 30-45 minutes. You can place your order by phone for pickup. I tried almost all other branches in LA area, this branch is the best, the quality is consistent. If you come in a group and want to split the bill, let them know BEFORE you order so they can make a separate check for each of you.French Quarter Cajun Seafood is best.

Terrible food. This use to be the best place to go but they have changed their menu and priced and obviously the cheif. We came here to celebrate my friend not having cancer, but left dissapointed. The gumbo you could taste the bullion cubes, the etouffee was bland, the p.o. boy was complete trash, the fried gator was no longer big succulent pieces of gator... very displeased. Will be finding a new Cajun restaurant

Where should i start, once we got seated the server took 15 minutes to come introduce himself to us. then it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. by this time we were ready to order. it took another 1 HOUR to get our food. worst service i have ever gotten. there was mold in the restroom and almost every other light is out in the restaurant, honestly i dont know how this place is still in business.

It was okay. I think the price is a little steep for the small amount of food you get. The server we had wasnt friendly or doing her job. My family & I had to keep looking for the server to get drinks. Then when they came over didnt act as if that was they job. Even my 12 year old daughter ask why was her attitude so bad. Yall better fix it before yall find yall self out of business.

I eat here probably once a week.. over the last few years and have been eating here at least once a month for going on 13 years. Ive never once had a bad meal, and maybe 2 or 3 times in the 13 years had less than urgent attentive service. I would not hesitate for a nano second to recommend this great place or take anyone there for a nice dining experience.

This place was okay, my husband had the shrimp and sausage gumbo and it was not a reaux but a gravy, not seasoned well so he just ate the meat out of it. I had the cajun platter and it was great. The drinks were great too. There is a possiblitly of us going back, just trying different items on the menu.

It was my first time visiting today. I called in a pick up order for 2 muffaletta sandwiches (which are supposed to have olive dressing on it) and guess what? They didnt put any olive dressing at all in the sandwiches. The sandwicheswere plain and had very little meat on it. I will not be returning.

The service good, but the food was not good. I had the gumbo or whatever you want to call it. The so called gumbo consisted of shrimp and green onions and a side of rice. Im from New Orleans and I know good Cajun food and this place is not. Im just sayin... Dont waste your time or money.

No cajun here. Fried crawfish tails, no taste. Manager did volunteer to try again. Not much better. Alittle sprinkle of tonys was all it was. Still no seasoning inside. Been here before and had grilled food and it was good. Just disappointed this time. Wait staff was good.

The food here is AMAZING!!!! The drinks are also really good. Weve had fantastic service every time we have came. The music they play inside isnt New Orleans style, which is slightly weird, but its ok. We wish their Hurricanes were frozen, but theyre good :)

Red beans and rice with sausage and corn bread is absolutely wonderful. Kinda spicy but well worth it. Hubby got seafood gumbo and has not stopped saying how good it was. Havent eaten here in awhile but we will be going back soon. .

This place has been around for a while and has been consistent. They have decent food and decent service. This is a place where you wont be amazed by anything but good if you are hungry and just want to not be disappointed.

Had lunch there. Portions were still huge and the drink menu was dirt cheap. Had crawfish etouffee for only $9..thats very rare here in Houston. Was very good and service was quick. Will definitely be back
