I ate here for the first time 2 weeks ago, and now Ive been back 4 times.... So needless to say, I like it. The location is under new ownership, and now is known as Catch of the Day Seafood and Sushi. I ate here once when it was owned by the previous owners and I had a Groupon. I thought it was just mediocre. Now it is great! I have not had the sushi yet, though I plan on trying it soon. I had the Catfish and 50 popcorn shrimp of the lunch menu, and what a steal! I got one very large piece of Catfish and 50 small popcorn shrimp, plus 2 sides for around $8.00! All of it is cooked to order, so it was hot and fresh. I went several days later and got the 1/2 of jumbo boiled shrimp.You can choose between garlic butter style or original and then choose the level of spice you would like. Ive had the shrimp 3 times now, it is a favorite for me. All times the shrimp were fresh tasting, hot, not overcooked and delicious. Ive also had the Catfish multiple times. I am generally not a fish person, I dislike "fishy" fish. The catfish is always fresh tasting, never fishy or slimy. I also do not like how sometimes catfish is "wet" inside, so I always request my fish fried extremely hard and they always accommodate me. One time I forgot to request it in advance and when they brought my order to me, I remarked to my daughter that I forgot to ask for it fried hard, and the employee asked me if I would like them to put it back in the fryer for several more minutes. I really appreciated that. Every time that I have asked for something modified, or on the side, they have always accommodated me and it is always correct. My order has always been correct and hot. The staff are friendly and professional. I really enjoy eating her. FYI-Now that they are under new ownership, they are no longer accepting Groupons as a sign on the door states. They did not have a sign posted about YELP, and when I checked in there, I was offered a YELP coupon for a free beer. The waitress told me that I could use it, but then after talking to the owner, came back and said they were not accepting those. I would have been disappointed but I dont drink and was going to give it to a couple that was at the bar eating. So no love lost. Overall-great place to eat. The food is so much better under new ownership and I will keep frequenting here.

I have been coming here for years and always enjoyed the food/service. It is very rare that I dine in. I decided that tonight would be one of those rare occasions. What I witnessed was pure chaos and dysfunction which is totally far from my prior experiences. They had people waiting for over an hour for food to go and dine in. They had to repeatedly ask customers what they ordered. The waitstaff or lack thereof sucked. The food was subpar! They did a nice job on the interior upgrades, but they downgraded the service. Im not sure if its under new management or what, but they need rectify these issues. I would have previously given them at least four stars.

Their crawfish is really, really, really, addicting and good! They currently have a special Tues-Thurs after 3pm for $5.99/lb, which imo is a pretty good deal for crawfish this season. I may have been lucky, but Ive been getting large "baby lobster" sized crawfish in my sack and it. is. AWESOME. Theyre also fresh, havent had a dead one in my bag. Ive had the garlic butter & kapow flavor. Garlic butter is great, loaded with lots of garlic. Kapow is really unique flavor (spicy, tangy, sweet -- all in one) and is addicting. Try it. Its located in a shopping strip and the sign is kinda hard to catch so watch out for it.

It was my wife and I first and last time ever going there and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Small crawfish very slow food service if youre not satisfied with your food you still must pay for it and before you can resolve your issue about being disgruntled about your food they call the police so if you want to be subjected to any of these issues you may want to think about it first

**If you order any grilled menu items, make sure you tell them you want the food to come out at the same time** We ordered a fried plate and a grilled plate and by the time they brought the grilled plate out (20 minutes after the fried plate), my guest had already finished her plate... That said, the service and food is awesome and the prices are very reasonable. Highley recommended!

Even with a Groupon, I would not be back. The fried oyster had a funny taste to it. When I told the server about it, she looked at the cashier (the owner perhaps) and didnt respond. I also ordered 3 lbs of crawfish. The crawfish itself were plain, butter garlic sauce were ok. Im from New Orleans and these are average at best. First and last time Ill eat here

Cozy place with a family feel and lots of sports on a few big TV. They serve a range of local seafood dishes plus amazing sushi rolls... The sushi chef is Japan trained so you get excellent quality at great prices. I highly recommend their Asian style fried rice dishes fresh out of a roaring hot wok, for genuine taste and textures of seafood

I ordered the fried Tilapia and fried rice. The fish is very good and fresh and the size is big. I like battered fish instead of corn meal breading. I do not like their fried rice. The price is very reasonable and service is good. I probably will not go back just because I do not like that kind of breading.

Ive been going here for 8 years and the service has always fluctuated, but within the past two years the food&portions have changed. This used to be a favorite place for my family to eat at every Friday. Last night was my last visit¡! I can purchase, cook my own seafood for far cheaper and better quality/taste.

I usually love their service and I always tip cash. But today this one lady employee was not only rude but expressed out loud that I wrote none as a tip on a to go credit card receipt. I write none because I only tip cash, never on my card. That made me so uncomfortable and I may not be back.

I use to be a huge fan of theirs! Today they let me down with the most terrible crawfish I have ever tasted!! It was not fresh at all!! It had this terrible taste to it. I only ordered 4 pounds. I literally tossed it in the trash!!! What a total waste of my time & money! Never ever again!

I called on my order. I was told it would take 10 min. Upon arrival, half of my order was done but the second half was not even prepared. I was then told that I had to wait an additional 10 minutes, in my car, for my food. I was not offered anything for the inconvenience.

I have come here several times during crawfish season and they dont disappoint, this is a hidden jewel in the cypress area for any crawfish lover. They serve it in bags and have different type of flavors and spiciness. Im ready to come back for more crawfish in a few weeks.
