I really wanted to give them a try, but this was the last straw. I gave them three tries, and they have failed me all three times. Ive never felt the need to write a review before, but they deserve this. It boils down to just poor service. Here is what happened: 1. I get there, I order, I sit down. 15 minutes pass by, I ask them what the deal is, wheres the food, they say its coming. 5 minutes later, I get it. I asked for no cheese, and there it is, all loaded up with cheese. Im lactose intolerant, I give it back and have them remake it for me. Fine. Ruined my night a bit, delayed some important stuff, but whatever. At least they didnt give me lip. 2. I get there, I order, I sit down. 15 minutes pass, no food. 5 minutes later, I see everyone who came after me was getting stuff already, so I go up, I ask whats up. 10 minutes later, I go up again! Still no food, they say its coming... Now Ive been there, people have come and gone, and finally I get my food. So unbelievably slow. No apology, just a, heres your food and walks off. Cold shoulder for their mistake. 3. I get there, I decide to do drive through. I order, I specify no cheese. They confirm its no cheese. I drive off, I get home, I open the bag and the thing is, once again, covered in cheese! Three nights ruined, three nights where im sitting there hungrily waiting, and or getting food I cant eat, when I specify and tell them, and they confirm no cheese. Its unbelievable. Again, Ive never had to write a review before, but I finally had it with these people. I cant believe Ive paid 10 dollars for a burger I cannot eat.

Last Saturday, I was at the beginning of my "Im going to eat healthier" phase. So, I thought that trying a burger spot I had been wanting to go to for sometime, and partaking in their healthy "lettuce wrap burger", would be a perfect match. Well, not-so-much. Lets face it, there are so many burger choices these days, and most of them are no longer fast-food options. Elevation Burger on Kirby boasts that their burgers are 100% USDA-certified organic, 100% grass-fed, 100% free-range, 100% ground-on-premises beef. All sounds great, and would not lead me to believe this was such a fast food environment. Fast food environments dont turn me off, but this one did. I ordered the burger on a lettuce bun. While another person at the table was not impressed with the burger coming in a cardboard burger holder, that didnt bother me as much as the lack of taste. With the lettuce truly making the burger bland and uninspiring, I had hoped that the flavor of their meat would compensate for the tasteless "bun". It did not. In fact, I remember little or next to nothing about this burger. Thats how good an impression it made. The patties are thin, so there is no need to request the burger to be cooked "medium". While fellow "burger buddies" of mine would recommend Elevation Burger, I would not. With a normal burger, the bun would add to the experience. Im afraid that if I ordered a burger on a bun, if I went back to Elevation, the only thing I WOULD remember is the bun.

Is there ever such a thing as a healthy burger? Elevation Burger is great choice for a burger that doesnt leave a greasy or oily feeling in your stomach. There are single and two patty burger options, as well as a veggie patty option. I have yet to try the veggie patty option, but if the regular patty burgers are any indication, I’m quite sure it’s good. Once you pick what type of burger you’d like, you have a list of condiments and toppings to choose for your burger. I like ordering a slice of aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions, mayo and ketchup. My husband likes to order the Elevation Sauce in addition to other toppings for his burger. The burger patties are not thick, and retain a lot of flavor. I also like to order a side of fries, which are quite large and you can easily share with a friend. You can actually watch them slice the fresh potatoes from the front counter! Elevation Burger’s fries are thinly sliced, and also taste yummy! I really think the quality and flavor of the burgers and fries have decreased a bit in the past year, but I still find myself coming back. It’s quite good, and I can easily eat my burger (single patty or Kids Burger) in one sitting. That’s a good thing! They don’t oversize their portions, it’s just enough to feed you and satiate your appetite.

Two years ago I rated this place with just one star. Today I went to eat there again, and I wished I didnt go, service slow, and the burger smells like meat, raw meat, smells like butcher shop, greasy, this suppose to be organic burger, cocked to perfection, I didnt see that, I dont know, either the cooker has no experience or the meat stored in a bad way. The fries OMG I wish I can attach a pic, cocked with oil that have been used 100 times and smells bad with no taste, this again suppose to be fresh, maybe the potato fresh but not the oil specially when you see black burned small remains from the oil. It is Monday Memorial Day 2016 afternoon. We ordered three kids burgers two fries, one and half burger went to trash, one fries also into the trash. I dont want to start talking about the cleanness and the service. If you read this and want to improve this place change the owner, so we can get a better elevation burger in Houston. We have tried many elevation burgers in the states and overseas, this one is no comparison to the others, if you think this good, than you should try the real elevation burger.

Clean, neat, and "organic" everything. Say what you will about the label "organic" but the word means little to me as long as my food tastes great. Elevations burgers, well, they taste great. You order by the way of build-it-yourself menu, picking your toppings, and then adding on additional orders like fries and a drink. This fast-food-esque burger joint is surprisingly light especially when it looks quite greasy. Although the "fresh" and "organic" appeal of this place is obvious so is the flavorful and moist burger. The fries are also unique in that they are fried in olive oil instead of peanut oil. They are smaller fries but have a nice crispy, oily taste that compliment well with the burger (like all good fries should). If anything, I am left feeling less guilty about the burger and fries I consumed but I doubt that it helped contribute something healthy to my diet. Overall, I would prefer this burger over any other fast-food burger joints burger. Prices vary between $5-10 a meal (burger and fries). Side note: the milkshakes are also pretty dang, stick-to-your-sides, good.

After my daughter and I finished shopping near Kirby, we wanted to get carryout to take back home so she could quickly get back to her new baby. We were excited to see Elevation Burger had a drive through! First, there is no time to look at the menu before you order. The cashier was very polite and nice, but we had difficulty communicating due to noise and his English skills. So when we paid, I looked at the receipt and it had an extra regular French Fries on it. I explained to him we had a combo and a fancy fry, not an extra fry order. He said ok, and I normally keep the bag when there is a mistake, but I gave it to him. He was explaining to what appeared to be a disinterested fry cook. He gave me back $3 and the bag, so I didnt recheck. Well when we got home, they had TAKEN one of the ordered fries out! Then, upon inspection there was no SIDE Salad that we ordered. Also, every slice of cheese was cold, including on the grilled cheese, which was 2 pieces of Texas toast with cold cheese in between. WHAT a DISAPPOINTMENT! So we paid an extra $2.99 and $3.99!
