Went in on 3/10/17. There was a small roach roaming our table as we started to eat. Later, another family member shared with us that he saw one on the wall behind us but didnt want to ruin our appetites. Talked to the manager and we felt like he didnt believe us because he kept asking where was this roach at. Like if the roach was going to be waiting for him. We were not asking for a free meal or anything so we did pay in full. We didnt even make a big deal about it, we just wanted to point out to him that they need to call pest control. A week later, I check my account and have been over charged. I called and there is no manager on duty to help me. Will never eat here again. It is just disgusting.

Where to start... the beef fajitas were fatty with chunks of gristle, the bean soup was more like a can of stewed tomatoes with cilantro and Pico thrown in with bean juice and maybe 10 beans in the whole bowl... youd think a Mexican restaurant with fine in its name would at least trim their meat, make real pinto beans, and its really sad that the most flavorful thing they served was the grilled onions that were under the fatty gristle filled meat they called their special of the day.... go somewhere else if you want to eat a good meal, this is not the place...

The food was good, however, the wait staff kept my American Express for about 15 minutes. I noticed several people hovering around the card before they returned it. About a week later, I had a fraudulent charge in Arizona at Target for about $250 charging to my card. Fortunately American Express caught the fraud. Don Ramons was the only place that I had used the card that month. You draw your own conclusions, but I do not go there any more.

Being the only black customer I had no one come to my table. I had to signal for someone to come over after they had waited on customers that came after me. I wasnt brought anything to drink when I sat down. I have been here before with an work associate and was waited on right of way and thought I would like to come again. This time to disappointment. I hope in the future that is not the way they run their business

I must say that I, and my family, are addicted to this place. We eat here at least twice a week. Tuesdays are half price fajitas, which win every time along with the best margaritas I have found in 10 states! Plus, theres a complimentary self serve ice cream machine that my son LOVES to visit after dinner! Youve gotta try it!

I will never come to this establishment bcuz how each other persons reviewed what happened to them bcuz Im big on reviews, customer services and management. I spend a lot of money on out to eat restaurants. If the Food is ok, but have 0 customer service or show unjust behavior to other races I will never look your way again

Formerly Doneraki.. Don Ramones has decent TexMex with great service and often live music. If youre on a diet, try the caldo de pollo.. I call it magic soup. The small bowl will fill you up fast and stay with you all day! It has large pieces of chicken, lots of vegetables, and a very good broth.

Service was less than impressive on a Saturday at 4pm. Menu displayed weekend happy hour prices, which apparently they "dont have". The happy hour prices were only granted after we pointed it out, and the general manager saw the menu they had given us to order off of. Overpriced tex mex.

Food was good, but was way over priced and the service was horrible. I had to ask several different people just to get a refill of water. Waiter assumed I didnt need my change back and had to be reminded how much I paid to get me correct change. I do not recommend!

The chips and salsa r great! Me and my boyfriend split the California Burrito and the fajita meat was very tender and delicious! Also our waiter was great! The house margaritas were very good as well and it was happy hour so good price too! I will return soon!

Great food options for vegetarians. As other reviews stated the food is over priced from what youre used to paying at a typical Mexican restaurant, BUT the food has tasted excellent and so worth the cost. When going be prepared to pay $12+ per entree.

The street tacos got my wife sick and the waiter charge me twice!!!!! Went down there and no manager around till 3.00. Got no help from no one!!! Still havent got my refund and wife still sick and Manager Martin never called me to resolve this!!!!!!!!!

Pretty nice change from the regular "chain" Mexican restaurants. A little more pricy but if you cant afford it you shouldnt eat here! All the food Ive had is excellent. Margaritas are amazing and extremely strong! Love all the appetizer plates!

Awesome restaurant. First off, their margaritas are the best. they make the mix by hand. Squeezing limes and adding agave nectar. The food is beautifully prepared and some of the best Mexican food in town. service is always spot on

Barbacoa plate was just bad.. Beans were dry, potatoes greasier than a McDonalds frying pan.. The waiter never came by to ask if we needed anything.. Crap joint.. Bet Taco Bell wouldve been a better choice.

Very expensive. I paid $22 for a fajita for one order when the average price in Houston is about $12. Even better restaurants like Pappassitos and Los Cucos charge way less
