Edit: Im surprised at the 1 star reviews citing poor service. It never seems like an excessive wait for food here in my opinion and Ive never had a staff member act in a rude manner. If you havent eaten here yet, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Original post: Excellent food and service. Im happy that there is a place just down the street from where I live that serves fried plantains and a wide variety of dishes. The liquados and horchata here are also better than any Ive had before. As others have said, the shopping center exterior looks pretty run down, but inside is well maintained and comfortable. Im wouldnt be surprised if this restaurant ends up moving to a better location and becoming even more successful.

This was the absolute worst customer service..there was only 1 other table so it wasnt busy...waited 10 minutes to get something to drink another 15 to get order placed..they give no salsa and chips..so i ordered the guacomole and chips the chips. Were placed standing up in the guac so chips were soggy...the chicken enchiladas were good and the beans but the rice had no flavor and the guacomole also had no flavor mostly just tasted green pepper and onion..when brought to waitresses attention...said she wasnt authorized to do anything and it was just her and the cook! I see now why there was only 1 other table! I will never be back!!!

Excelente atención, un lugar muy limpio y ordenado, generosos en la cantidad de la comida, muy buen sabor, precios módicos, trato especial y amable con los niños. Lugar recomendadísimo. En Google lo encuentran como Mi Recuerdo, pero el nombre que encuentras exhibido en la entrada es Mi Tierra.

Every time I go there I always end up having the best experience, it is amazing how they treat you there. They make you feel like you are part of the family. My Husband and I always get home sick from Medellin, Colombia, and we always miss our favorite colombian food. So we are very happy that we have a colombian restaurant near us. Before we would have to go to the Southwest side to get a decent colombian dish, but ever since we found this place we can not go to any other colombian restaurant. Once again I give two thumbs up, and a big round of applause. Keep up the good work!!! Bendiciones!

Absolutely fantastic!!! We live down the road and decided to try. Their menu is beautiful and enticing. We had the chicharron con arepa appetizer and the beef fajita plate. Both were over the top awesome!!! The tortillas were obviously homemade and tasty. We were greeted on the phone as well as in person to pick up our meal with such friendliness, we felt right at home. The food was cooked to order and wonderful!! Over 5 stars for this place. Thank you so much for the experience, we will definitely be back!!

The food is good BUT it is so wishy washy. Ive called on several occasions during business hours n it was closed. Someone answered the phone n told me they couldnt take my order n to call back tomorrow. Twice Ive called n no answer, during business hours. Business hours are not reliable. So unreliable as a matter of fact the sign should just read "business hours may vary". At least Id know I may or may not get an order. Food is good. IF they are open, youll never know with this place.

Love the food and the service! The experience here really takes me back home and gives me the feeling of being in Colombia. Ive also tried some of the Mexican dishes like the tortas and enchiladas and theyre super yummy. Its a chill spot and I like to go with friends after work on Friday because its BYOB and we get to enjoy our beer with our empanadas and bandeja paisas. Thumbs up all the way, thanks for your work!

Me, my wife, and some friends have been here and ordered from here a few times over the last year and its been some goooooooooooooooooooooodd foood everytime. My and my wife went to Ecuador a few years back and this brings us back! The food is authentic, the portions are really good, and the price is right. Actually, from writing this review, I want to go and place an order now!

Had a wonderful family dinner as soon as we sat down someone attended us right away. There vegetarian beans were delicious no pork in them and not even a true colombian would know the difference. A very calm friendly environment. Will recommend everyone i know to come. The owner was a great guy. Thank you Jorge Luis for the great service.

I went here with my mother I loved the seafood soup,though I thought it would have mussels and what not it had only fish and potatoes.It was the best seafood soup Ive had,every place Ive tried their soup tastes old or plastic.Awesome flavor!!The owner was very nice and helpful with any questions.Great Food cant wait to try something new.

Its a small place, but its clean and tidy. I went with one other friend and we were the only ones in the restaurant, so service was good. As for the food, I ordered the Ropa Vieja. The beans and fried plantains were heavenly. The ropa vieja was just okay, and the rice was plain so nothing to talk about there. Overall it was good though.

I went on july 27 2014 and enjoyed it very mucho....i got the chicken milanesa with white rice and platano....immensely delicious, i highly recommend it and get the cheese empanadas for an appetizer.. the meat and potato empandas are yummy too but are a little skimpy on the meat. ..either way great great great place to grubb!

Service and food are amazing!! I have been there twice and both times the food has been delicious. The owner/staff are very tentative and supper friendly. I was hesitant about the restaurant because of how the shopping center looks, but I was very impressed in the end.

Their portions are generous and it involved a lot of meats. The staff didnt engage as much as youd expect for a small place, but I have my suspicions as to why. The food was ok, a decent intro into Colombian food - but nothing really knocked it out of the park.

Good Colombian Food, vegetarian beans (no pork) and great prices. The fruit juices are off the hook! For those wanting a recommendation on Colombian food have the Bandeja Paisa, sub the chicharron(pork) for the chicken. Buen provecho.

We sat down and ordered. It took them almost an hour to bring the food. We had to take it to go. What bothered me is someone else came after us, and ate and left before us. And no food still. Will never go back to this restaurant.

There horchata was great but they told us that we could only get 4 items on the menu because there fryer was broken i came for colombian food and all i could get was a torta since that isint fried i will not come back!.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS!! Me and my husband are new to Texas and have yet to find a place with good food and good customer service! This place blew us out of the water we will definitely be going back!!!!!
