We were hesitant to try this place a few months back, only due to so many name changes. I am so glad we gave it a try because it is now our favorite mexican place to eat at! Weve never had anything bad here, nor have we ever had bad service. The same guys usually work, and they are very attentive. When extremely busy, the entire staff helps out. Nice to see some actually still care about their customers. You cant go wrong with the cheese enchiladas or the Medina Fajitas! Both salsas are good, and the chips are usually warm. Friday & Saturdays they have live music/dj. Ive only had 1 margarita there since Im not really a drinker, a peach flavored, and it was good. If you are looking for good food & good service, this is your place. You can also find coupons online, and on the back of some Kroger receipts (the one at Gosling & Research is where I get mine.) Enjoy :)

This is a great family run restaurant! A lot of passion goes into their food, they seem to get all the little details right. The service is second to none! Ive spoke to one of the owners a few times eating there -- he is a very nice man and you can tell he cares deeply about customer experience. I totally agree with one of the other reviews -- this place is a hidden gem! And the prices are great, especially for the area!

Casa Medina is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is superb and the service is just as good! They treat us like we are a part of their family. My favorite dish is a toss up between chicken diablo and Lilianas special. Instead of guacamole try the avocado mexicana ( chunky avocado with pico ). If you are coming from the south, take research drive and go the back way through the hotel parking lot.

Sketchy outdoor compared to the super welcoming indoor. Definitely a gem in the Woodlands area from an atmosphere perspective. Oh yeah, the food was utterly fantastic. Overwhelming menu but just ask the waiter for whats popular. We enjoyed the Queso Flambeado, Gorditas, and Tres Leches. The one downside: my tummy was filled to the brim. It was a little tough to walk around after dinner.

Tonight I discovered a Woodlands treasure. Food prepared and served to perfection. A friendly greeting upon entering and equally attentive wait staff. Sat. night music with a classic quitarist from Spain and two dividied dining areas. I could not speak more highly of our experience. For me and my family, we will surely make Casa Medina "our restaurant." Dr. Oliver

I walked in at 5::45pm on a Monday...Slow unimpressive service ... Only 4 tables dining. Guy brought me my margarita but forgot the water i ordered. Then he never came back to take my order so finally I walked up to the manager and placed my order personally with him. This is a good example of why tips are earned and they are not an entitlement

Great food, but rarely open when they say theyre going to be. We love their breakfast but dont actually know when its served. The posted hours are 8:30am on Sat and Sun, however weve gone multiple times around 9 and theyre closed. Today, for example, 8:30 - closed, 9:00 - closed, 9:45 - still closed. Extremely annoying,

Was in Houston for the day and ate at this joint in the way home to Dallas. The tea tastes like they brewed it with liquid smoke, salsa was super bland, beef chimichangas were blah. Maybe the texmex is different here than Dallas? I was hoping for more and was thoroughly disappointed.

I ordered the Tacos al carbon and the steak had a sauce or flavoring that was inedible to me. My husband thought the stuffed avocado was okay & different. Their salsa was awesome! And if you love live Latino music then this is the place for you.

Great little Mexican food joint. We live in the neighborhood behind and often walk over for dinner or (on weekends) breakfast. Good tastes homemade and very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Low key atmosphere

$17.64 for 3 tacos? Really?? All because of beans inside the taco? $2.60 for a teaspoon of beans... Rip off! the menudo is way too greasy and the oregano overpowers any other flavor in the soup. Place sucks

Great food and margaritas, the staff and service is eceptional. They allow smoking in the bar on weekdays only. Their fajita stuffed jalopeneos are fantastic and I recommend the presodente.

Small Mexican restaurant with a hole in the wall look but a very welcoming environment. Large menu of both food and drinks. Staff is friendly and very willing to make wrong things right.

Pork tacos were full of fat. Not flavorful at all. The chicken breast was bland as well. The red sauce that was served with it did not help. Will not be back.
