Great coffee, great and friendly service, nice atmosphere. I truly enjoy this place. My only concern is that there is a sign at the door that basically states that no guns are welcome. I appreciate and respect the fact that it is the business owners right and that its private property. I dont appreciate that this infringes on my civil liberties and my constitutional rights. Thats no different than telling a Jewish man that he cannot wear his kippah (yarmulka) or that someone wearing a gay pride flag will not be served. The right to keep and bear arms is no different than the right to freedom of religion and speech. To me it is the same mentality as believing in freedom of religion but only if you are Christian. I served in the military and took an oath to protect the constitution. Unfortunately, its this type of mentality and ignorance thats shedding negative light on responsible, law abiding gun owners that are just trying to protect themselves and their families. Twice I was nearly robbed at work. One of those times a robber had my cashier at gunpoint. The only saving grace that I had was the fact that I was armed and neutralized the situation WITHOUT anyone getting hurt. Food for thought, if someone has malicious intent towards that business or any other isnt going to obey the "No guns allowed" sign. People just dont understand that this doesnt disarm criminals, just law abiding gun owners.

I walked in today for the first time. The person who served me ( I later found out was the manager) had a nasty, sour expression on her face. Didnt return my greeting. I should have left right then but I needed caffeine. She placed my order on the counter without a word to me. No thanks. No greeting. Just sour and rude. I will not be back ever. No way to treat someone spending their money. This place is convenient and an alternative to Starbucks that I thought Id found. Too bad the manager didnt have the decency to act like a human being. Will never return.

Beans Cafe, yall! This little nugget is so cozy. I have been hunting for a quaint little place to study and I think I found a gem. I got a "Go Bananas" frozen drink and it was very good. The barista was friendly and worked hard to please everyone. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of seats and tables for working. Wifi and printing available! Not to mention some good eats that Im excited to try. Super happy with Beans Cafe and I will be back. You should definitely give it a try.

Ive had coffee here only 3 times within 2 years but have really enjoyed the coffee every time. Its a little hard to see from road. Look for the BBQ restaurant and UPS sign. This coffee house is PACKED every time Ive come here and theres an interesting mix of hipster and corporate vibe. I think one time there was no seat so I just had to walk back out with my drink. What I love are the unique flavor combinations and varieties. Their cold mocha is delicious but high in sugar. Would come back.

World maps, local craft brews and wine, local coffee, and amazing staff - Bean Coffee is a perfect little spot for doing some work and enjoying some delicious local coffees. The staff is so down to earth and very helpful. They recommended the Sticky Buns with an extra shot and YUM! I also tried the seasonal Pumpkin Horchata and both are so tasty and well made. I wish I lived here to make this a frequent stop, but when Im back this way, Im definitely stopping in, and you should too!

Houston, we have a winner! The coffee is distinctly superior but todays pistachio muffin really sealed the deal. This place has the goods, and if youre one of the people who like to support local businesses (yay!) and leave the huge chains to others, then heres a great place for you. Youll feel MOST at home if you bring a laptop, but we didnt have ours and they still let us in to lounge about in the very comfy armchairs ; )

This place is the best, idk what Raven is talking about it (seems like she only gives negative reviews) every time I come here Im greeted politely, all the employees are very welcoming. The only bad thing about it is that its not closer to my house :,( Overall this place has awesome coffee :)) and a pretty nice atmosphere (the type of place where you can get comfortable and study for hours) Ill definitely keep stopping by!

Quiet, local coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere. They serve Boomtown Coffee, a high quality bean that is locally roasted. The drink menu is quite varied and includes made-to-order smoothies. The service is always friendly. They also have a selection of snack items such as muffins, hummus & pita chips, etc. Definitely an upgrade from your local Starbucks, and one of the best cups of coffee youll find in the immediate area.

What a gem! When you first walk in, you are greeted with a bunch of fluffy wing tip chairs arranged like small living rooms. Very comfy. This place is an independent coffee shop that supports other local business owners. The owner knows her coffee and can direct you if you want to try something new. The coffee is fantastic and you absolutely must try the pistachio muffin. I am definitely coming back here!

Best coffee. Way better than starbucks (never a big fan of SB). It is a nice and cosy place. Comfortable environment. Their team is friendly and nice despite nearing closing time they were quite energetic (went there aftwr 930). They play nice music (not live). Their Banana walnut cake is also a good try. They should think of increasing their working hours till midnight :)

Awesome. So happy I found an alternative to Starbucks nearby. Friendly, low-key environment and coffee that tastes like it was made by a human. HOWEVER their to-go coffee lids suck. EDIT: I just saw the review below, and I would like to point out that I am THRILLED that they dont allow handguns. I can actually bring my family there and not feel threatened. Nice!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Houston. I moved here from Austin a couple of years ago and the first thing I wanted to find was a place with good coffee, good staff, and a good clientele. They have all of it. Its a great place to hang out with a few friends or to sit and read or get some work done by yourself.

In my search for alternatives to Starbuck. Beans Cafe is a gem in the energy corridor. Great coffee and friendly staff. The place is cozy and feels like family space. I can easily interact with other customers, but as well I can feel in my own world if studying or working is the plan. Highly recommended

My first time here and it was a great and comfortable setting. Made me happy to know they have some awesome pastelitos with meat or chicken. They were delicious and I had a cortado YUM! The owner is very genuine and caters to ever customer like if they are family. GREAT location as well. Thank you!
