Last night was the second time my wife and I went there. The food and drinks are great however, the service is horrible. On our first visit a couple months ago we were ignored for about 5 or 6 minutes before anybody acknowledged we were even there. Last night, same thing. The guy behind the counter was flirting with 2 girls, another barista was making coffee and a girl was walking back and forth. They ALL looked at us and knew we were there but ignored us the whole time. I understand people get busy with helping other customers, making drinks, etc but how hard is it to simply acknowledge someone and say "Welcome" and "Ill be with you in just a moment". Those simple words are a night and day difference to just ignoring someone. All that being said, we waited for about 5 or 6 minutes until one guy asked if we had any questions. My wife asked a question which he answered then immediately left again before we could even order. About another 3 or 4 minutes went by so we left. Its really sad that younger people nowadays have absolutely no concept of basic customer service and whats worse is management doesnt seem to teach them. I had really hoped to make this place more of a regular stop but I dont think its going to happen.

The service and staff are really great. I always feel welcome here and they have give good suggestions based on your preferences. Their food is also good although sometimes I wish there was something a little bit bigger than a tiny quiche (they are good though). The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of power outlets and spotty wifi. There have been a few times that I have brought my computer and couldnt find a seat near the few outlets and therefore couldnt stay there because of the computer battery issue. The other issue is the wifi connecting but not working which also made me have to find another location.

Ive been to this place twice at the time of writing. Full disclosure that Im a novice coffee drinker having only started drinking it about a year ago. In any case, first time we sat in and had coffee (latte) and a muffin. Coffee was good and the muffin was very good. Next time I swung by though the drive through. Again got a latte and I can say this was by far the best coffee Ive ever had. It was so damn smooth and I was craving more the rest of the day. The only downside to this place is its on the expensive side even compared to Starbucks. Believe its about $4 for a 12oz latte and $4.50 for a 16oz.

Friday morning around 9am was my first visit to the Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company. Most of the table were taken, but there was only 1 person in line ordering and the drive through looked empty. Comparing this place to the national coffee chain down the street, the food tasted much better and my chai latte was on par. Generating points to FiveStars customer loyalty program is a plus. My only negatives were that they are pricier than the coffee chain and it took a while for my coffee to come out. After finishing my food, I asked the barista to make the coffee in a Togo cup.

Literally the best coffee Ive ever had. Prices are good though the portions are a little small for my taste. Only having an iced mocha available as a large is a little odd but I accept it. The bakery items are absolutely fantastic. (Seriously, cinnamon rolls and iced mochas. Day conquered.) The staff is friendly and super helpful, the atmosphere inside is upscale and warm and welcoming. The drive through is speedy and their rewards program is ultra easy to use and offers good points to rewards ratios. Definitely a local stop for me now.

Googled best coffee places and this place poped right up. Saw it had great reviews so decided to check it out. I asked the cashier for some opinions of the best iced coffee and breakfast snack. she recommend the Apple turnover and I forgot the name of the drink lol i received my food and drink rather quickly . the Apple turnover was so good! I cut it in half and you can see the steam coming out:) iced coffee was awesome and liked how they gave it to me in a kinda mason jar. you will not be disappointed try this place out asap!

So thankful for this place! It is a great place to work when I have a deadline. Its a great friendly environment when you just want to hang out. The coffee is the best I have found in Houston so far. I bought a bakery tray for a family Christmas gathering and not only did it impress everyone, but the price I paid made it even better. Between the music they play, the fire when its cold, and friendly faces behind the counter, I take a deep breath when I walk in and feel like I belong.

Great coffee, great atmosphere & great presentation all together. Too bad the service didnt follow suit, upon approaching place to order the ladies working were (very loudly) complaining about not receiving any tips. When I advised the young lady about clearing the only open table available for me to sit she snapped with laughter and an attitude about it and said I could sit outside. No bueno. Perhaps better nicer baristas would be a plus! :)

Its a small chain with 2 stores in the Atlanta, GA area. This is their first Texas location. Like most chains/franchises its a formula approach to mediocrity. Theyre trying to appeal to the greatest common denominator and they seem to be succeeding. The coffee is good, but not great. I prefer mine with milk, but here it could have used a touch of sugar to soften the bitterness. Its basically the Starbucks alternative.

Just had the bakers cherry pie strudel bar, it tastes just like the one from my German bakery in Berlin. Fabulous. The atmosphere is what a coffee shop should be. The people are courteous, and the unique patterns in my lattes or the trays my teas, and the taste is delicious. They keep me coming back. (They also are the only ones who have a raspberry mocha... Mmmm!)

I asked for another whole milk latte after my first one was made too hot and the milk tasted burnt. They remade the latte at a cooler temperature, but it still was not that great. I ended up going back because there are not many nice coffee shops in the Cypress area. I asked the Barista to make the latte at around 130 degrees....it ended up being very, very good.

Better than I thought it would be. Brought home an assortment pastries to try. Our favorite the lemon bar absolutely fantastic. The apple turnover and the chocolate chip cookie are excellent also. The other pastries were also good just not our flavor profile the qualitywas excellent. The frozen coffee was also very good. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I went there more than hundreds times in past years; coffee always just right. However, once in a while it be too sweet or has weird tastes from your coffee; result in trash. It seems to be relaxing place to do your paper work or with friends just to chick chats. The service is average. Anyway, if they correct the drinks outcome will be 2 stars more......
