DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE NOT FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS AND WANT TO BUY AN ALCOHOLIC DRINK. Me and my girlfriend went to this specific location because it was close to the hotel we were staying at which was very convenient. After being seated we proceeded to purchase our beverages and were told that management had to overlook Drivers licenses from another state which was perfectly fine. The manager soon came back and we were then told that our licenses DID NOT comply with the standard of the company. We were asked to pick and Non-Alcoholic beverage. If we wanted a drink without alcohol we would have picked that to begin with. Furthermore we left that location and went to a sister location around the corner who had no issues with our choice of drink OR our IDs. This is frustrating because weve eaten at a few other places just like this one and have had no issues. We will be contacting corporate about this we truly believe the issue was far more deep then "ID COMPLIANCE" ONCE AGAIN DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOUR FROM ANOTHER STATE.

I LOVE Pappasitos Seafood Kitchen (richmond) to death it is one of my favorite places. So I figured this would be the same. HUGE mistake. First of all my order seemed to be late. I placed a to go order and was told it would be ready in 12 minutes. I waited 20 then drove the 5-10 drive. When I arrive there was no place to park. So that took another 5 minutes. I get into the restaurant and pay for my order... Where I waited 15-20 minutes to get it. My order was suppose to take 12 minutes from the time placed which was 30-40 minutes after i got there. I finally get my food and it is the SALTIEST thing I have ever eaten in my life! As a child i use to eat those Lucas salt things, but this was WAAAAAAAAAY more Salty! OMG what a waste of$35. I will never go here again.

Definitely a Houston seafood restaurant contender! I am never disappointed in their food . I usually go for a salmon dish, but recently opted for the Jumbo Scallops and Shrimp served with mushroom risotto and sautéed spinach. DIVINE. If youre familiar with Pappadeaux, imagine having a fried shrimp platter or seafood sampler and upping the "freshness" by 20%. So good, so fresh, so quaint. This also happens to be the original location of the Pappas Seafood chain, so youll want to make sure to give them a shot.

Incredible! Friends from out of town came to visit and they wanted seafood. I suggested Pappas and Im so happy I did. Leo, our waiter was friendly and delivered our food and drinks promptly. Even the hostess was friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of. I ordered the pasta and seafood. It was fantastic. Full of lump crab, fresh grilled scallops, grilled shrimp, and asparagus in a vodka cream sauce. I recommend Pappas for fresh delicious seafood that doesnt break the bank.

Always a great choice for eats. We had the pleasure of Rachel serving us today and she brought her knowledge of the establishment and the menu when serving us. When the weather is right, the patio is a great place to sit, eat, and see. And if I can suggest, you can never go wrong with the fried shrimp. Happy eating!

Service and food quality is usually above average. Last visit, however, tomatoes on my salad were way past the point by which they shouldve been served. Im sure if I had mentioned this, it wouldve been rectified -- but I didnt feel like introducing anything negative. Everything else was great, as usual.

Sunday night, busy but not on a wait. Sat idle for 50 minutes waiting for an order of oysters and an entree before we gave up and left. Completely absentee waiter. Cant speak for the food here but theres several great seafood places in the area where you wont be ignored.

Disappointing experience with food but not the service. What we ordered was either out or no longer available. Is it wrong of me to ask for classic mignonette sauce to go with raw oysters? Apparently it is. A fun Saturday night outing was detoured with substitutions.

I thought I was the only one that thought the food was salty. Its true I had a po boy to go. Got home, bit into it and just like that went into trash. I wasnt going to go all the way back to get my money. Ill just save some people their money and dont go there.

First time and last time waiter took his sweet ass time with everything. Had the feeling like there were trying to get us out. Eat and leave seem like at the end. The many time he didnt go at the beginning he went at the end to see if the check was ready.

The hostess Kellie was very accommodating and very professional. Our waiter David was on it and knew all the dishes he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We had the red snapper and the rainbow trout everything was excellent tasty and hot.

Fish Tacos. So good! Thats before I start shopping for sushi grade quality fish! Always buying fresh fish and making sushi at home. Usually sushi, sometimes we cook the fish, but I love this place and youll enjoy this experience as well.

The food here is really good. We got the deluxe seafood platter which fed two of us for days. Picking up from the bar was more difficult than it should have been and they were a bit slow. But it looks like a nice place to sit and eat.

Good food, great service! Our server Robin was so nice and made us feel welcome. Even the general manager came by our table and asked us how we were doing. And you must try the Sea Bass,it was top notch.

Good food most of the time, although pretty over-priced. Wait staff can be heard yelling in the kitchen in this tiny restaurant. Pappas specialty drinks always give me heartburn.

This is one of the better Pappas places. Great service. Food is good, same menu almost as pappadeaux. Call ahead tho cause place is small and gets a wait fast. Its pricey!
