Food is OK... service HORRIBLE - especially with to-go orders. Tonight I ordered 3 entrees and when I got there to pick them up they had only made one. The guy at the bar said oh sorry she wrote down 3 but entered 1...He had them make the missing ones while the one that was made sat there for the 25 min & got cold. Did he seem concerned about the inconvenience, no. Did he even offer me a glass of water? No. Then when I get the bill to pay it is almost double what it should have been! I made him fix that and he was still, oh sorry about that... The customer service here is not what it should be, maybe at the level of Dennys or IHOP at 3am. When I got the food home there was so much salt on the food it was almost inedible! I doubt I will return to this business... you should rethink it too.

Waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Multiple parties, large and small, were seated ahead of me. When I asked the hostess explained that they were LRC members and receive priority seating. At no time was the fact that I was a second class patron explained. Once I stood at the entry glaring at the hostess I was immediately seated. Wont be back. No point taking space reserved for premium patrons.

Great customer service here whether your dining in/out. Never a problem with food not being prepared right. I will say dont order the ribeye unless you like eating fat. New York strips are great. Vaquero tacos are awesome too. Vegetable are never over cooked. Oh we tried the tortilla soup the other day and thanks to the chef. It tasted amazing. Best soup I ever had.

Our dinner out was great. The food was delicious and had the right amount of herbs and spices. Our wait was about 20 minutes, which is reasonable. It looked like they had a section closed, so I am guessing someone called in sick. Either way we got seated. The service was prompt, our food came out quickly, and the bar menu had great selections. Eat here.

First I ate at the location at the riverwalk vowed to never go to another salt grass steak house agein parents begged me to meet them at the bandera location went an AMAZING SERVICE an FOOD certainly changed my opinion but I will never return to the riverwalk location even though I have to drive about 20 to 30 min out of my way it was well worth it

I absolutely love Saltgrass. Its the best bang for your buck in all of San Antonio when it comes to a great steak. Yes, its even better than most of the higher priced steak houses. Do yourself a favor and go to Saltgrass instead. When you get there order Pats Ribeye, enjoy a great meal, and walk out with a smile knowing how much money you saved.

I thought the atomsphere was great as you could feel the vibe of the place and it was a happy feeling of lots of people having a good time and eating good food. The food was good I have filet 6oz my friend had the same plus BBQ shrimp. We both found the shrimp dish had a little more salt than we like but offer all was quite pleased

Ordered a grilled chicken salad for lunch. I have dietary restrictions so I was very specific as to what I wanted on the salad. It was not prepared that way and the waiter never returned to check on me or to refill my tea. I order it like this at least once per week. I love their food but in this case, the service sucked.

Never a bad experience at Saltgrass! Got there on a Saturday night around 8:30, was told itd be a 30 min wait, sat down for 10 minutes and then my buzzer went off! David was my waiter for the night, awesome at his job! Steak was awesome, baked potato was perfect. The salads are awesome as well! Love going to this place!

Took my girlfriend out to here on a Wednesday event for dinner and a drink at the bar. We were ignored by both bar staff, while they serve a few others that come to bar after us. We even told the bar staff, which he apologized for but yet others that showed up again after us were again being served. We walked out...

Excellent Service and great quality of food. This was probably the best food service we have had in months anywhere. Manager Kylee was exceptional too. This restaurant has made strives in all area and I recommend anyone to give them a try or another try if they have been here before.

Went for lunch and celebrated our 46th anniversary. Our steaks were well prepared and our server by the name of "Chadwick" was very attentive provided excellent service. Only criticism was paying $4.00 for 12 oz domestic beer. Overall great experience, great food and excellent service. Enjoy!

Nice Texas themed atmosphere, good service, and great steaks, but I dont suggest ordering the steak fries unless you like crispy cubes of potatoes. Yes, I took off a star over the fact that I was expecting fat french fries when ordering steak fries, but I am oddly traditional like that.

Not great. The sauce under the steak, as a garnish, was made from jalapeños. Very spicy and not needed. My second medallion was consequently inedible, soaked in the sauce. Also, the wait staff needs retraining. I dont like arms and hands passing in front of my face.

We have been going to the Saltgrass on Bandera and 1604 for over 5 years and we always receive great service and the food is always delicious. The service and food are always consistent and we always feel welcomed. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff and managers.

Service is always great and food is awesome. The menu offers a wide variety to choose from, most plates are $10+, and their appetizers and complimentary bread are a good intro to a meal. On the negative side, the menu does not quote soft drink or bar prices.

The first place ever to get my steak EXACTLY right. If you want the highest quality steak for a very reasonable price, this is the place. Great waiting staff. Very good atmosphere for family and friends, both... Its become a regular place for my family.

Service is always wonderful. One of my children asked for a condiment they didnt have, and the manager straight up drove to a grocery store and bought some. Food is killer, but the service is really what brings us back again and again. Love this place!
