We live in Granbury so always considered going to your restaurant a treat. We stopped by about three weeks ago and were told that they were out of Chicken, a place named Cowboy Chicken, the middle of the day and I chicken? Anyway my mother who was with us was disappointed since she had never tried your food so yesterday she and I made a trip over so she could ,bad mistake, first off they refused to take her ten dollar bill because it was too new, my mother is 90 years old, she had some money straight from the bank she took a ten out to have lunch! We scrounged together enough to pay but almost walked out then. I ordered two sides of the kettle chips extra crispy, they were almost raw in the middle and white and limp so I sent them back, the girls at the counter looked at me like I had two heads and said what did I want them to do about it. I explained "cook them"then when my dinner came back I had one small order, but at least edible so I let it go, but what prompted me to write this rather than just never going back was that Every! television was turned to a Spanish channel even when I saw news scrolling by it was in Spanish .I was totally insulted, that ten dollar bill you didnt want was AMERICAN money. Show a little respect to the country you are serving. I wont be back, liked your chicken but not what youve become in service

We have wanted to try Cowboy Chicken, but were always wondering why it was not very busy. Now we know. For starters the young woman that took our order was VERY unpleasant!!! She acted like we were bothering her by ordering. She was upset because we didnt know the menu, so we were not sure of the next step. After our order (which she assigned a number - but failed to tell us) we found a seat among several dirty tables. Then waited and waited. Finally we say a young man walking around with food - he asked us if we were number __. However we didnt know our number and were not give one of those little numbers on a holders. Ok now for the food - YUCK!!! I tired the drumsticks. They would have been ok but were covered in BBQ - I mean way too much! We will not be back.

Ordered delivery at 12:30...got it at 3. The driver got lost and we never got a call. We did receive an email that our order had been delivered. When we called about it, the lady that answered the phone was very rude and expressed her irritation that she would have to remake our meal so it would be a while. When we got the food, the driver was super nice (he would get 5 stars for customer service!). However, the grilled chicken was super tough, dry, cold, and burned. I was super unhappy that not only did I wait for so long for the food, but then it wasnt even fresh. Will not order from here again.

Chicken was incredible. Juicy, tender and moist, great smoke flavor, sides were all great (twice baked smashed potator, corn fritter, mac and cheese) rolls were warm and soft. I wish the cobbler was served in a better fish instead of smashed into a side container but it doesnt take away from its delicious flavor. The girls at the front were patient and polite and even guided me into getting a $5 discount by downloading the app. A great and affordable way to feed the family a healthy meal on the cheap. Will definitely return.

While I continue to order from them, I am giving 2 stars because less than half of the time my order is complete and to my liking. When my orders were less than satisfactory, my meals were received with the wrong sides or they were completely lacking. When its good its good. For the price paid, it completely disappointing when waiting for a delivery only to discover its incomplete.

Chicken was good, creamed spinach was very good and Mac n cheese was OK. Service was very fast and friendly. They were donating all profits today to injured FWPD officer Matt Pearce, so kudos to them for that. Got the lunch special for $5.99 which is a good price. Will be back again to try some other sides, + my boys would love this place.

Absolutely FILTHY. People were kicking a drumstick on the floor out of their way. Luckily my wife carries baby wipes and we could clean the sticky table that had just been wiped down and left wet. The wooden frame on the table had an extended times worth of build up of food on it that we also cleaned. We wont be back to this store

I didnt realize that rotisseried chicken would be so dry! Every bite I had of that quarter white chicken needed to be swallowed with a swig from my drink. The beans were barely tolerable and they added dried cilantro instead of fresh. The mac and cheese and roll were about the only thing that was ok. Ugh never going there again!

I ordered delivery and live literally across the street. Was going to take over an hour 1/2.. So I decided I pick up they said 10 min ok I wait 30 min go they still dont have it ready... I go home chicken is cold roll is rock hard and the so called cobbler is mush .. Its like the slime on the bottom of the pan ..

First off the chicken was done really well! The chicken enchiladas were small, but the tomatillo sauce was spot on (I do expect a bit more for the price). The sides were good, but the twice-baked potato was cold (it still tasted good). The house salad dressing is some sort of vinaigrette.

Spent $62 and almost halfway thru, we all got sick(even my grandkids). Chicken enchiladas(cream sauce) were bad, along with the other meals ordered. Called in to let them know, was placed on hold(4times) and no one ever came back to the phone. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

I ate at the Irving location today...amazing food. Chicken was cooked perfect...choice of sides are unbeatable and the hot sauce is custom flavored...AMAZING hot sauce. I dont know how this location got a 3.9 overall but this place in general has quality food NO QUESTION!

I would give it 5 star but what I ordered was small portions but was like 9 bucks. Wished it came with more. On the other hand, the food was absolutely delicious. I had their chicken salad and fried okra. Best chicken Ive tasted from a restaurant

Very good food, and good service. I was quite taken back by the fact that they bussed my table while I went for a drink refill. The young lady offered to replace my side order but the damage was done. I will not be coming back.

Staff always friendly, never wait long for food (ours was out in like 5 minutes). Everything from the okra to the French fries are always fresh. And I like their chicken better than Pollo Loco. The smoky flavor is awesome.

Bummer! Chicken was so dry, Mac and cheese was not homemade totally from a can, twice baked potatoes no, I dont know what that was but it was not twice baked potatoes. Even the dinner roll was dry. I will not be going back.
