We ordered fish, cole slaw and hushpuppies for our company for a safety training. The fish was fresh, tasty and very generous portions. The cole slaw was amazing and plentiful and the hushpuppies were perfect with just the right amount of crunchy to the bite. We placed our order two weeks ago and verified it this morning, it was hot and ready at the time we had scheduled to pick it up. We even added to the order and had sweet and unsweet tea as well as additional fish. The price was what we had been quoted and they added enough tarter and cocktail to make it great! This is the only place anywhere near hear that has chicken livers that are not over cooked. They will cook they special for you for 3-4 minutes. Dont ask for this at lunch time because everyone knows how good their chicken is and its just too busy. Glad we finally got a good chicken place. If you are on IH10 and cant stop in Kerrville the one in Comfort at 87 is just as good.

Normally hot and fresh food, you just have to double check your "to go" orders carefully as theres always something missing, but the staff is typically friendly and willing to make it right.
