hToday I ordered lunch to go for my husband and me at the Sonic on Seawall Blvd. I ordered the Sonic number 1, large sized, for my husband. Next I ordered the junior hamburger deluxe and a large chocolate malt for myself. When the order arrived I paid $9.61 and carried the bag home. When opening the bag we noticed the order was missing the large coke. We returned to get the missing coke. Never have we been treated so rudely!!!! The manager admitted she had written the order up incorrectly, but refused to give us the drink!!!! We asked her name and she would not answer. Then she said she would call her manager who was not on the premises. Finally she returned with a large coke repreminding us for not reminding her to include our drink. When we again informed her we had ordered the Sonic number 1 she continued to argue with us. By this time we felt that she was totally scary! We were afraid to drink the coke,so we threw it in the trash! We choose to never eat here again, why eat the food prepared by such rude employees? The one star given is for the food only, service is zero! She wrote the order as 1 HB 3.19, 1LG TT 1.99, 1 JR HB DLX 1.00, 1LG SHAKE 2.69, 1 + CHOC. 20, 1 MALT .00, 1 BGR COMBO -.19 8.89 TX .73 TOTAL 9.61 We often eat at Sonic and were surprised at such an experience. I have downplayed the amount of arguing this manager displayed over her mistake. Why argue with a customer over such a trivial thing as a Coke? Get the customer a Coke and apoligize for the misunderstandin, smile, thank the customer for there business and ask them to please come again. What is so difficult about that?

Being from Oklahoma, Sonic is a staple in my life and I was pleasantly surprised when I found a Sonic mere feet from the waters of the Gulf Coast. Pros: - it was on the beach and the view was amazing. - I ordered a medium Vanilla Coke and it actually tasted like a Vanilla Coke. Not all Vanilla Cokes are created equal. Cons: - the service was horrible. I first pulled into a stall pressed to big red button and waited while the screen read "we will be with you shortly". After a full 5 minutes I pressed the big red button and once again the screen read "we will be with you shortly". Looking around I noticed there were only 2 other cars in the stalls, but the drive through had several. Now that it was closing in on 10 minutes I decided to back up and try the drive through. Needless to say the drive through was not any faster and over all it took close to 25 minutes from start to finish to get a medium Vanilla Coke. I would not go out of my way to visit this Sonic, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Unless you have plenty of time to wait, you may want to visit one of the many other restaurants on the island.

This is hands down not only the worst Sonic restaurant experience Ive had, but by far the worst restaurant experience in general. First they button to order didnt work and it took them forever to get my order. After that I try swiping my card to pay but it isnt working, which they didnt warn me of. After they finally bring out my order the lady comes out to take my card in and swipe it but didnt return with my card for 30 minutes. I hit the order button, talked to another employee who was outside, and stepped out of my car and tried to get her attention to no avail. Maybe its just me but 30 minutes is absolutely ridiculous in order to swipe a credit card and then return. I wouldnt recommend coming here if you want fast or reliable service.

Every morning for the past 3 years, before 10 am I have gone to this Sonic and got a large coke for 99 cents. This morning I was argued with and told that Happy Hour isnt until 2pm. When did it change??? I realize when Happy Hour is, but at both Sonic Drive Ins I have gotten this deal. I think the new girls at this Sonic are charging too much so they can keep the extra dollar for themselves. I was not offered a receipt, so I cannot see what I was charged actually. I can and will in the future just go to McDonalds for my morning drink. I HATE feeling like I was ripped off, and these new people are just RUDE!!! You dont even rate a star from me.

I like Sonic. I love the location of this Sonic- right by the seawall, view of the Gulf, etc. But this Sonic sucks. Sometimes the drive-up intercoms arent working, but theres no sign. Theres often trash and sticky messes everywhere. And God forbid you need the bathroom (or have a potty-training child that needs the bathroom)- the last we were here, there were feces EVERYWHERE, including in the sink, and that was the cleanest place. It was horrid and when the staff were informed, they just shrugged and did nothing- they could have at least closed it off until cleaning time.

My experience was good. Best view for a buck while eating. Was recommended to us by a Texan who now lives in Alaska. We were traveling through Texas, went to Nasa, Galveston was only 30 miles away, so we took our kids and went down after walking most of the day at Nasa. Food was great. Decor was "weather worn", to be expected, its "on" the beach. Service is on roller skates. Did we check the order? Absolutely. Order was correct. (thats good, when you have 6 hungry people to feed). Everyone enjoyed it and was glad we took the time to go eat and enjoy the view.

Worst service Ive ever had anywhere. I understand its fast food but it took 40 minutes to receive our food the first time. I ordered a cherry limeaide they brought me a cherry slush and through a lime in. I politely asked them to correct it and they ignored me for 47 minutes. Finally I gave up and called the manager. Then I was placed on permanent hold. Finally I called the corporate office to notify them regarding the total experience. I had one simple request. The corporate office was great it just saddens me that people dont care at all about their job.

This particular location is garbage. I ordered 3 simple kids meals and the number 1. While ordering I was told to hold on, then she moved on before I finished the order she interrupted. When I said I wasnt finished with that order, I recieved attitude. When I got to the window, they charged me for drinks on the kids meals when it comes with drinks. Then no toys. Rude and clueless staff.

Horrible service for such a popular place.Its almost as if they dont you to order alot of stuff because their annoyed with large orders! Dosent make sense to me,both times ive came ive had the same experience. If you dont want to work in fast food where its fast paced and busy then get another job! This place either needs new management or new training of their employees!
