It was OKAY. I WONT go a second time because of HANNAH. Yeah Im putting her name out there. She wears a red shirt and has blonde hair and is a short petite fired up little thing. They dont know how to treat new people. I was there TRYING IT OUT like I do all the other restaurants in this IMPATIENT TOWN OF LONGVIEW, TX and the waitress was VERY LOUD and FAST TALKING and PUSHY. She had on a red shirt. I was trying to be polite at first, but I will only give you one shot to state your case. She was Like. Have you ever been here before. I said NO, Maybe I should have lied. Then she was like OH WELL DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT TO YOU. I said, IF YOU WANT MY SERVICE IT DOES. Then she was like well it goes a LITTLE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. i thought she was about to bust out in a rap tune or something and then she started talking fast like she was on the auction block. I told her YOU NEED TO SLOW IT DOWN A LIL BIT FOR ME and THERE IS NO NEED TO EXPLAIN IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO EXPLAIN. ILL JUST BE LOST IN THE RESTAURANT AND HUNGRY. Then she was like Okay, Then she FINALLY explained it the way it should have been explained in the first place. THEN I was like WELL AT LEAST THE NEXT TIME I COME BACK WHICH WILL BE ALONG TIME FROM NOW. YOU WONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME ANYMORE. I was getting pissed. Then when i finally went to SO CALLED BUILD MY BOWL, I didnt think you couldnt stand on the other side of the service area. THEY HAVE NO SIGNS and ITS SO DISORGANIZED. Then i was told by a customer to GET ON OVER HERE. Then I SAID HEY IM LOST SO I GUESS I WILL BUT THE SPACE IS TOO SMALL OVER THERE. he didnt say nothing after that. Then I went and asked the guy who asked me to step back to the other side. DO YOU HAVE TO TELL EVERYBODY TO GET BACK OVER THERE and he was like yeah I HATE DOING IT, and I SAID WELL YALL SHOULD HAVE SIGNS OVER THERE THEN YOU WOULDNT HAVE TO. All in all the food was OKAY, I could have made the same stuff at home. They were out of Pineapple cake so i had to order Jalapeno Cheese Bread which was OKAY, The only reason I went is because Im trying to watch my diet and they have a lot of food that helps you monitor your diet, and then I saw the reviews on here. ONLY TWO BAD ONES and the others were GOOD,. Well this ONE IS NOT GOOD. so make that THREE BAD ONES. I WONT BE BACK. And the girl who WAS PUSHY had on a RED SHIRT and before I left i said WELL THE GOOD THING IS AT LEAST YOU WONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME AGAIN SINCE YOU SEEMED TO HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME EXPLAINING IT EARLIER. I hate when the waitresses are MOUTHY and act like they are SO TIRED AND SLUMPED over they dont want to be there like this one did. but they did REFILL MY DRINKS which was an OKAY thing if SHE DIDNT TALK SO MUCH

I love the food at Genghis Grill. Make my own food, the way I want it. Im a vegetarian and the options for veggies is really great. The service is pretty good, and the place seems popular here, it was pretty crowded for Sunday Dinner time. The brownies for dessert here are excellent. The Ive been several times to other locations but this was my first visit here. The atmosphere in this restaurant was smoky/hazy due to stir fry going on (other locations Ive been to have been excellent in that respect). The seating is too cramped in my opinion with only 1 to 1.5 feet distance between tables. If there are 4 people each in adjacent tables, getting in and out is a problem and Im a average sized person. I would visit here again, its a fantastic place to dine.

My co workers and I went to Genghis for lunch and we order food to go. I was disappointed when I arrived back at the job because I ordered brown rice instead of white rice. I called back and spoke with management, Jihad. He asked me what could he do differently to change my experience and instead of him just taking my name down for a future visit (which is an inconvenience when youre hungry) he asked did I work far. I advised him it was only up the street. He obtained my work address and brought me my food. Not only was the problem corrected but he turned a bad experience to an AMAZING experience. I will continue to eat at Genghis. I hope that everyone enjoys the friendly environment the wait staff and management provides.

Nothing wrong with this location other than it is a 124 mile round trip from Shreveport. Recently Genghis in Shreveport closed with no notice to the employees OR people who bought gift cards there. What a terrible corporate structure. The market manager should be ashamed of their poor management skills. Merry Christmas Genghis employees, you are terminated immediately! I will not do business with this company anymore, and I will inform everyone I know how awful Genghis is. To the corporate employee reading this review, Please find another job as soon as possible, after all you never know when they may simply close your position down with no notice.

Food was okay. Place gets worse every time I go. Constantly changing the food ordering process which is understandable I guess for their benefit. Waitstaff obviously not trained, dont have a clue what their doing. Had to wait for utensils to be washed, after food was served. Waiter apologized for not refilling drinks or checking on us because he was "busy." He then brought our ticket and asked if we needed refills, his reply after declining refills was "that makes my job easier." Waitress on previous visit was just as clueless. Train your people before putting them out front.

It was ok. I wouldnt visit a second time. The staff was very friendly and attentive; however, when entering, it had a sour food smell. Since traveling, tired, and hungry, we decided to just try it out. The staff was helpful but the food was mediocre as the choices were plentiful but seemed not as fresh. This would be maybe to visit again only if there were no other choices and only because the staff was great. Id give it a second try later on and see if my mind changes.

For the price, the portions should be larger and the variety of ingredients broader. Ive only ever eaten at one other Mongolian grill and it was twice as good for 2/3rds the price. Pre-fab, one-size-fits-few sauces are a drag compared to mix your own blends of ingredients at the other place (not in this town). Absolutely zero interest in ever spending that much time and money again on this weak chain/franchise place, in ANY town.

I love to eat here and enjoy the creativity involved in mixing and matching the ingredients into the perfect bowl. This location is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Joining Khans Klub is always a good choice and makes me feel like I am being rewarded for eating at my favorite restaurant. Keep up the good work Longview!

Service was very poor. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks the waitress said she forgot about us. We got our drinks and the bowls to put our food in we never saw her again no refill on drinks somebody else brought us our check over all very poor service the waitress name is KATIE! Poor service KATIE!!!
