Took my family to Spring Creek BBQ tonight along with a friend visiting from out of town, spent over $60. Got there approximately 9.40 pm, selected our items and while paying, I asked the cashier if they had fresh bread, she said, “we are closing in 10 minutes”, so I asked her “Are you still open?" She replied "Yes, we have some". So I paid and proceeded to sit down and have dinner. Unbeknownst to me everything was cleared away; there were no deserts available, nobody checking if we needed anything else before everything disappeared, nothing. I asked can I have some fresh bread; the manager Jeffrey brought us some bread. My husband went to refill his ice tea only to find the dispensers empty and turned backwards. I asked the manager for some more ice tea but, he said "We closed like 10 minutes ago and everything has been disposed of and offered me soda instead" I advised him that I do not drink soda, I just wanted some ice tea. No one there even bother coming over to let us know that everything is being disposed of and if we need anything else. Now why did I just spend over $60, I couldve gone to any number of other restaurants that would gladly take my $60 and continued to serve me and my family. We all left in disgust at 10.10pm, left our dinners unfinished. As I type this I’m still hungry. What a lousy way to treat customers and build loyalty. Spring Creek BBQ, you’ve seen the last dollar from my family and whomever else this critique informs.

Went for the first time with our family of 5. We had never been there before so we were not aware of the process for ordering and moving through the line. We actually stood in front of the sides for almost 2 minutes before we were told it was self serve. My daughter grabbed a jello for herself and I was surprised when it wasnt on the ticket. Thats a nice surprise except we had 3 kids meals in all so if it was included in the meals, it would have been nice to know so our 2 year olds werent fighting over big sisters dessert. Food was pretty good as my kids ate well. My biggest complaint comes from an exchange I had with the MOD when we asked to speak to one. We calmly explained our experience had been marred by the fact that no one had bothered to inquire if we had been there before and were we familiar with how the process worked. Only thing said to us before holding up the line waiting for sides was "you will need a tray and silverware" as they were pushed towards us. (We were smart enough to have figured that one out on our own and were already in possession of said items.) The MOD listened to our story and then said "my bad". Not Im sorry, not I didnt realize, just simply "my bad" and walked away. Its a shame because the food was good, but bad service and bad reception will keep me from ever returning to this location.

Normally my favorite place, they ruined that. We stopped in for take out. First, they screwed up the order, but the girl who took the order caught it. Next, we sat for 30 minutes waiting on the bread for the order. The girls at the bread oven pulled it out, the went back to their conversation while to gos backed up, meanwhile, the dining room gets no bread either. Finally get the bread, so we can go home. Get home, there is only 1 order of bread for the two orders. Next, we open the chocolate pie, it has pieces of plastic in it. WTF? This is a serious lack of management problem. I hope they get it fixed, get rid of Eric the lack of manager, so it can get back to being a great place.

Rolls are good. Vegetable options are low, with everything lacking in quality, especially the mac n cheese. It basically yellow noodles. Not creamy at all. The meat portions are on the smaller side. The staff seems to not have a clue whats going on. Dirty tongs for the corn on the cob. No glasses for soda, and when I did get one after asking, the root beer tip wasnt on the machine so the root beer sprayed all over my tray, my shirt, and my neighbors tray. The cashier let out a visible but silent chuckle. Only go here if you hate yourself or really really love hot fresh bread.

In the words of my nine year old, "I was not expecting these ribs to be so good. They have to be some of the best I have ever had!" He added, "the sauce is so good too! I wish I could take the sauce with me." I couldnt agree more with his rave review. For the price we got a great value for what we were given. When I thought our lunch couldnt get any better a server walked around with a basket of fresh rolls offering them fresh out of the oven. We will definitely be back and recommend others come check out this restaurant.

They were out of baked potatoes at 6:30 pm.... really? Didnt even have silverware for people.... Had to use plastic silverware. Asked the "roll girl" for a roll and 20 min later after asking 2 more times finally got a roll. She claimed that there would be more baked potatoes in just a few min but yet I was never told that when I was in line or I wouldve waited for it. The floors are greasy and slippery and the bathroom is a mess. Broken toilets and sink! Hire more help!!! Ridiculous.

As I write this, I am still currently writhing in pain from the doctor confirmed food poisoning I received from this place 5 days ago. Its hard to fault the staff of only teenagers for their lack of basic understanding of food safety procedures because, hey, teenagers are cheap labor right? If you eat here you are taking a huge risk to your health and safety. Go ahead and ignore me, but let me know how your experience of 5 days of pain goes.

Our experience today was poor. The restaurant was very busy and there was no place to sit. It looked like it had not been bussed in hours, as dozens of dirty tables were the only option. No one came by to serve roles. We waited 15 minutes for French fries. We asked for more BBQ sauce which never came. This place used to be good. Service was exceptionally bad today.

Come here weekly. Im an original Texan and like my BBQ. This place hits the spot, exceptionally friendly staff, great food, great bread, great sweet BBQ sauce. Ot doesnt get much better. The fancy high price BBQ places might be better sometimes, but get tpigh ribs and poor service after paying three times the price. That tastes really bad. I LOVE THIS PLACE

Great family atmosphere, great food and amazing bread rolls so hot that you can barely eat them. Its a great chain BBQ place, what else is there to say. Taking one star off since they hire high school kids and some of them are put on duty before they have received enough training which will lead to the occasional issue with terrible service.

There may be those who tire of great BBQ and wish to experience the absolute worst Texas has to offer in this arena. If so, this place is for you. As an added benefit, they specially train staff to 3d world customer service and cleanliness standards. Even if this is what you are looking for, avoid the bathrooms.
