What a great place! The entire staff pretty much bent over backwards to make us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. When my Dad asked what the "special creamy sauce" was, we were given a cup of it and some fries for dipping, before wed even ordered anything! We both got La Monumental, which has just a ridiculous amount of stuff in it (you can see the diagram in my photos). I wasnt too sure I would like ham in there but it was delicious. The refried beans and tostada were also highlights. The burger doesnt look too big to the eye but its insanely filling and quite hard to finish. The spicy fries are also really addictive and come in a massive portion. Their limeade is nice, as are their house-brand sodas like grapefruit and lime. We really liked the food but it was the top-notch customer service and friendliness that really sold us on this place. We will be back for sure!

ALLERGY NEGLIGENCE Ordered two of the La Monumental burger combos. Expressly told the person taking the order that my wife was deathly allergic to avocados, and that should she have it would probably have to take her to the hospital. He acknowledged that and wrote "no avo" on the bags--he also reiterated that when delivering the bags of burgers to us once prepared. However, when we started eating them, they were both covered with avocado. Took a bite or two to notice it due to the *many* toppings that are included in this particular hamburger. Once I took it apart and looked at it later (kept it to photograph), I noticed that the avocado was layered beneath the lettuce layer which worked as an effective camouflage. Wife is better now, but had allergic reaction. Manager on duty was appropriate. Cashier seemed competent. Would have to say the person at fault was the cook.

I passed this place while moving and kept dreaming about the delectable pico-licious-queso-dripping burger I was going to get. After a hard day of work, I ordered La Monumental. I was wrong about the queso and pico de Gallo (bummer) but correct about delectable! I hadnt expected ham, but it gave my messy burger a good taste. I loved the tostada and beans. Its really what makes the burger different. I also had a few "spicy" onion rings. Dont worry they arent actually very spicy at all. Too bad they arent open later than 9. I could see this hitting the spot late at night.

The food was good. The service was not. Even the manager never greeted just went straight to taking orders. When you walk into a place of business this small you should be greeted with a hello or at least a smile not with an immediate Are you ready? Am I ready for what? to order ? Well hello to you too. I am all about customer service. If the food is great but the service sucked I will not return. There has to be a median. But the food was good prices okay. I dont know if I would recommend to anyone just because of service. :(

This place is American food with a touch of Mexican flavor or altering added to it. Which it taste delicious, from the spicy fries to their nacho-Dorito burger and sauce. The customer service is usually good, depending on what time of the day you go. Over all, this place is a great place to dine in and out of when you want to try something out side of the box that is not at every other burger joint.

Love this place. Get La Monumental JR (or just La Monumental, if you are hungry enough for double meat and double cheese). Spicy fries are the best! And the secret dipping sauce is delicious. The staff is very friendly, too. Ive enjoyed this place every time I ever went. Its a little small, though, so dont expect the seating to accommodate large groups.

Last year a friend took my husband to another location and he couldnt stop raving, so for his birthday we drove out to the Dallas location. They didnt disappoint - although they seemed to forget the beans on both of our burgers. Their "home"brewed sodas were good too - especially the orange. Definitely a restaurant worth checking out.

I love this place . I always get the Burguesa Burger . Which comes with the Burger, juicy fries , and coleslaw. Parking is horrible . But get someone to go with you, so one person can get out to pickup the food lol You are lucky if you find parking to actually sit down and eat inside .

One of my top two burger joints in Oak Cliff. I dont eat most meat, so the fact they offer veggie substitutions for their burgers is awesome. This is a place my meat-loving husband and I can both agree on! I have yet to have a bad meal here and the staff is nice and quick to boot!

The signature burger - La Monumental - is unique and delicious. The tostadas and ham create interesting texture and taste. I like to spice mine up a little with black pepper and siracha. The fries and onion rings are perfect. You wont find another burger like La Monumental!

Just love this place. You have to try La Monumental. Sounds crazy, but the hamburger with tostada, refried beans and avocado is just awesome. It is even topped with a pickled jalapeño. They also have a junior version available. You also gotta get the fries "spicy."

Love these Burgers! If you are looking for something different, this is the burger place to try: Mexican twist on the American staple. The spicy fries are Wonderful! Leave the catsup behind cause these fries come with a spicy Mexican aioli. Yum.

Have been here dozens of times and it never fails to impress! The burger is unique as far as most burger places around. The spicy fries and their special sauce are just as great. The owner is very friendly and recognizes customers by name.

Burgers are really good. Never had a burger with combination they make their burgers with but I will definitely come get another one. Im not a fan of ham so I cut that but all of the other ingredients were great together.

Good burger place, it will take out of the same old burger set up in a way that will make your mouth water. The lettuce could be crunchier and the timeouts fresher, but over all I like it. Plus a donut on a shake!!!! Yes
