It was 8:40 pm, the sign says they close at 9:00 pm and all we wanted was to place an order to go and the guy ran to the front of the door and told us that they were closed and said "if you would have been here 10 minutes ago we would of been able to help you" meaning they really closed at 8:30 pm. I wonder if the owner knows these kids do this. Will not be coming back anymore! Bad PR having these guys here. A message to the owner: These guys are making you lose money.

Food was great. I got a brisket sandwich and it was off the chain. Only thing is I was expecting to go to Burger Island. When I arrived the sign out front said Burger Island. When I entered the restaurant however all signs read "TX BBQ and Burgers". This was very misleading. I dined in anyway, but Im sure there are many people that have came, and turned around because of this. This is not Burger Island, it is TX BBQ AND BURGERS.

They have lunch specials all during the week. I got a whole chicken with 2 sides for $8.99. They do have a lot to offer bbq, burgers, salads, chicken tenders, nachos. So you cannot lose. Is pretty pricey for a bbq plate is about $14.99 + however the lunch specials are reasonable and with big portions. Clean place and friendly staff.

I cant believe people gave this place 4 stars!. I was in the mood for BBQ so I order 2 meats, rib & sausage. The Rib tasted like it just came out of a slow cooker with no flavor! & the sausage tasted like it just came out of a Microwave

I had the brisket and sausage burger (big E) combo.(think thats the name of the combo) It was tender, nice and hot bursting with flavor a tangy spicy bby sauce it was delicious. Cant wait for Friday.. best bbq Ive had in this area.

Got a card from W.T White High-school for a free island special (burger only) and they honored it. Great staff. Very friendly. Food was great too! Came in at around 5PM. No wait time then. Will be back for more :)

Probably one of the best burgers Ive ever had. The jungle burger is my all time favorite. I simply cant enough of this place. Theyre new owners to the place and business is picking up a whole lot. Job well done.

Black manager yelled at me by entering at 10 am. Google says its open at 10 and doors was unlocked. No reason to over react and yell and tell me to leave. Never will return again
