I dont live here. However I grew up in Corpus. I was SUPER excited when we saw the Michoacana. It was Christmas Eve near closing time. The cashier and atmosphere was not bad. We bought about $18.00 worth of merchandise. I think the prices went up since last time we visited one. But to be fair, its been a very long time. It was also for a bunch of people. When we were at the register someone called about the pan de polvo. I yelled with excitement, WHAT? And we got 3 bags. We didnt eat them until the 26th for some odd reason. When I bit into one of the last ones from one of the bags, I was surprised with a white strand of hair ABOUT 12 INCHES LONG. Thanks disgusting!!!! I called and when I asked to speak to a manager, they told me right off the back that there wasnt one. I explained my problem and she told me to hold on. While I was on hold, I could hear the manager rejecting the call. The cashier was telling him, thats why you are the manager. He reluctantly picked up the phone. He didnt seem to care .He did tell me to bring back the bags to get a refund from him. I did not have time for that and it wasnt worth the effort. His apology didnt seem sincere. Obviously he doesnt care about customer service or cleanliness. I will NEVER return to this location when I visit. What was I supposed to do if a piece of pan dulce had hair? Should I bring half a bitten concha? That man SHOULD NOT be a manager. I also suggest making hairnets mandatory. I used to work for a major bakery in Houston and EVERYONE had to wear a hairnet when they went into the production area. Thats just common sense.

Never again. We come and eat here quite often and NEVER have I been treated so badly first of all half our food came out on time and the other half did not the half that came out late was cold I thought it was taking time because was taking longer to cook I sent my plate back but the other two that were late were the boys and they didnt care so anyway I sent mine back all they did was pop it in the microwave my eggs became over cooked from how long they warmed it up no longer was over medium and the bacon was rubbery I sent back and asked for a small menudo with no juice (I have been here and done it several times) never any problems well when I get the receipt I look it over and I have all of these extra charges apparently the kids drinks are the same price as an adult except an additional .36 charge for their kid cup which again I have never been charged before and then my small menudo is charged as a big and the managers defense is because I requested no juice again I have never been charged this before then she claims well I ordered extra meat and I told her I didnt her defense was its only 2.00 more thats beside the point its the fact that they had no consideration to their mess up and all these additional charges that have never been here before this is definitely last time we will come here.

First time here. Good atmosphere. Ice cold beer. Chips and salsa very tastey. I had fajitas Tarrasco with shrimp. WoW. Try it excellent. Mariachi Thursdays. Pan de polbo a must. Very good service! !!!!

I first was asked to buy 10 dozen tortillas for my sister-law from Mc Kinney Texas. They are so delicious I go for my self now. Also they sell sweet bread , it brings up memories of my grandma house.

Great place and great food! Prices are just like any other regular restaurant between $5-$15.... I do recommend you get one of their apple pies from the bakery section, they are delicious!

Great Mexican food the menudo is good and the Barbara is some of the best in Corpus Christi. The pan dulce is the best north of the border and south of San Antonio

I love the huge assortment of pan dulce. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite are the maranitos. The homemade tortillas and pan de polvo are good too.
