This review is in full reflection of todays visit. I have eaten there many times and it is typically good, but this time was not. First off we get there 10 minutes after they opened and placed our order immediately. About 10 minutes later they come out and say that they are out of the baba ganoush so we figured out a substitute for it. Then another 10 minutes later they come out to say that they do not have any rice and it is going to be about 20 minutes for it to come out. Really? How can a mediterranean place be out of baba ganoush and rice 10 minutes after opening let alone any time for that mater. If you want great mediterranean food with awesome service go to Mediterranean Grill!!! I know that is the only place I will be going from here out!

Our first visit and, if we lived close to Wichita we would certainly be frequent fliers! Zindy, and a guy whose name we did not catch, provided excellent service! Zindy was especially fun to talk with; Laurie and I enjoyed meeting her. We started with a falafel appetizer which was very good then fattoush and Greek salads. Fattoush is kinda like a middle eastern panzanella or bread salad. Yummy! Laurie had the gyro and could only eat half. On the waiters recommendation, I had the chicken kebabs and was not disappointed. The grilled veggies were fab! I didnt like the pita bread; too dry and inflexible making it impossible to stuff chicken and veggies into. Baklava and cookies for dessert! Both were great!

Wow, what a place. All I think when I eat here, is why? Why would you come all the way across the world and end up in W i c h i t a , K a n s a s? This food is absolutely delicious, the service is adequate. I think I know why, if you get a chance just peak in to the back kitchen, its epic. I mean its like something any world class chef would be honored to cook in. So what if they dont have some specific dish now and then, I see it as simply as a sign of freshness to me. Sometimes the chips they make may be cooked too long and are not the best, but the flat bread is always superb.

First of all, when we walked into the restaurant we were OVERWHELMED by a horrifying smell. It literally resembled the smell of a babys poopy diaper. It was disgusting. We figured the smell would go away, so we seated ourselves in a booth. The service was great but we had to get our food ToGo because we couldnt stand the stench anymore and had to get out. I ordered the chicken wings and they were almost INEDIBLE. The skin was soggy and slimy the combination of ingredients on the wings were repulsive. WERE NEVER EATING THERE AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!!!! :)

To my surprise Wichita has quite a few Lebanese restaurants here which is great! This is just a cute little family owned place with great food and great prices. I had a Falafel wrap which was maybe $5 and very tasty. I went with 3 other people and as an appetizer split the large plate of hummus, which was AWESOME! It was the largest plate of hummus I’ve ever had for $4-$5 and probably the best tasting. We ended the meal with Baklava ($1.50) dessert which was highly recommended by our super friendly waitress. I recommend giving it a try.

Pros: The food was fantastic and filling, with good portion sizes (I had the Meat Pies, the Kafta Kabob, hummus and Greek salad, and was very pleased by all of it), the Turkish coffee was excellent, and the service was great, attentive, and very friendly. Cons: Not a great location (sometimes hard to get into the parking lot as well, depending on traffic), and the decor could really be more fitting to the type of restaurant, and look a little bit less like a small Perkins inside.

I go to N and J every couple of weeks for their pita bread, a true pocket bread, leave the pita in the grocery stores alone, once youve tried these, you will never go back to store bought. You can by them off the shelf at Whole Foods, but at N and J, if you get there in the morning, the bag is still warm and full of steam. As a Vegan, my staple is the falafel with baba ganouj (sp) and hummus.

As a vegetarian, there are a lot of options in Mediterranean food, and N & J doesnt disappoint. I usually go for the fattoush salad, which has the right balance of flavor, veggies, and pita chips. The hummus and the falafel are also quite savory. The "large" portion of hummus is small. My go-to eating establishment for healthy VEGETARIAN food.

We were passing thru and wanted Mediterranean food. This popped up on my Google map and since we could check out the menu ahead of time, we decided to go for it. We were super hungry and didnt want to spend a bunch of time comparing choices. Delicious. Great service. If we lived in Wichita, wed go back. Totally hit the spot.

I love the Gyro sandwiches and the chicken shawarma. Baba ganoush, hummus, and tabbouleh are all very fresh and delicious. The also sell hookahs and have a small middle eastern grocery store. Dont forget to get the baklava for dessert. I also like the strong coffee.

I was invited there and I enjoyed the gathering. Tabuli, fatoosh, shwermah, and felafel were good. Atmosphere "not really". Parking lots were few and busy. I could use the four similar doors along the side walk for leaving faster! Its good to try it out once a year :-/

Loved this place for many years. Quick turn around. Delicious menu choices. Best pita bread made fresh. Service can be lacking at times but staff is always very friendly and most have been there many years. Highly recommend this place for Mediterranean food.

Been going here for years. Nice relaxing dining experience. Just about every Ive tried here is very good. Staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a small market attached to the restaurant. No outdoor seating but plenty inside.

The food here is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I dont think Ive ever had such great tiramisu either. Although clean, the atmosphere isnt anything write home about. And the parking lot is terrible if youre there when its busy.

I was not impressed. I guess my idea of a "global" market would include a large variety from "around the globe". I went in there in hopes of finding Indian items and was very disappointed. It is great for middle eastern food though.

Very casual dining experience with consistently good food at fair prices. And although the grocery store is its own business now, being able to walk next door after your meal and pick up some unique grocery items is always a joy.

Its an old Wichita stable for good mediterranean food. I like the chicken schwarma. This is also my go-to spot when I want to take home hummus and pita bread. I think its the best source in Wichita for Mediterranean groceries.

This place is fantastic. The staff were friendly, and my food was ready quickly, even during the dinner rush hour. I got the Garlic Chicken Wrap with hummus and tabbouli, all of which were amazing. I would highly recommend!

This food is awesome! After living in the middle east as a child i must emphasize that this food is just like home! I was very pleased with the decor, quality of food, and the extra shopping area. Delicious and friendly!
