I have to say first of all I have had Chinese food all over and eat a lot of it, its my favorite food to eat...so Im driving by and I see a sign saying best Chinese food in Montgomery so Im like yes!, Im starving and Ive ran into the best Chinese food around, Im in luck. So I walk in and they seat me and ask for my drink order and I ordered unsweet tea as usual, very prompt service. They bring my tea which was delicious and they take my order...when I go to a new place I order several things to really know if I like it so here is my order This was a lunch order so usually when you order lunch specials they come with entre of the meal, an eggroll, and a soup...this place did not have soup with lunch so had to order seperate...cause I have to have my wonton soup...lol Cheese puffs Wonton soup Triple delight with fried rice So first they bring out the wonton soup, my first bite literally made my face cringe, that was a first..the noodles were under cooked and like mush almost mash potatoes texture, and the flavor which is usually like a chicken broth, was like almost a bad lemon juice....so still having an open mind I thought maybe they just have a different recipe..so I was done after one bite with the wonton Next comes the cheesepuffs, this was problem number 2, usually a cheesepuff is deep fried to a golden brown color and cheese inside melted to soft...well I think they had the grease to hot cause the fried part was dark brown and so hard you couldnt bite it and the cheese in middle was still firm so done after one attempted cheesepuff Last is the meal....so by this time I was thinking to myself, the wonton maybe they have there own recipe, the cheese puffs, they just overcooked....but my meal...thats big problem number 3! When it was first sat under my nose, I kid you not, I got a strong whiff of what I could only describe as a babys messy diaper...i was thinking maybe It was in the air from another customer in the building...so I scooped up a bite and whatever I was smelling was now in my mouth, and was in the flavor of the brown sauce on their stir fry....i ran to the bathroom and spit out whatever disgusting mess that was and nearly threw up... Now I have never left a review before on any restraint, but i felt I absolutely must on this one!...i was not risen I actually just told them I had to go, I paid for my food and left! Did no make a scene..just politely paid and left! Worst food experience Ive ever had, and I eat food from all different ethnicities, some good some bad but Ill try it all..but this was by far the worst!

This is by far the worst chinese food I have ever had. The service stunk. I called in my order and upon arriving to pick it up, they got my order confused with someone elses. They helped about three other people before they offered to help me again. They also got my friends order mixed up and wanted to charger her $10 more than what she had wanted. She asked for the dinner combo and they gave her two dinner plates instead. We were standing in the store for 20minutes to simply pick up an order. Not to mention that the wait staff was about as pleasant as dealing with an angry bull. They were abrasive and rude - when they were the ones who messed everything up. We had to throw out about 80 percent of our meals because the food tasted so horrible. I dont know how it is possible to make orange chicken, sesame chicken and kung pao chicken as well as cheese puffs taste THAT bad but China Delight accomplished that. The only thing that was edible was the steamed rice and the vegetable lo mein was barely tolerable. I will NEVER go here again. Lucky Panda in Willis is a billion times better in service and quality of the meal. I have no idea how China Delight won number 1 Chinese restaurant in Montgomery - There needs to be a recount on that vote.

Truly awful. Every time I come, the meat is overcooked. You get big portions but its so overloaded with filler that it ends up not being worth it. The honey garlic chicken is 85% breading, the crab puffs are literally entirely cream cheese (in 6 of them I found one piece of crab that was 1/4 inch, and Im not exaggerating), the egg foo young was disgusting and tasteless and the gravy was flavorless and gelatinous, the beef dishes are covered with fat and the worst cuts of meat. Literally the only thing Ive had here that was actually good were their egg rolls. I recognize this is a Conroe staple, but I have eaten Chinese food from all over the nation and this is one of the worst, from the food to the establishment itself. The bathrooms are rarely clean and I watched a cook come out of the bathroom without washing his hands, then go back to cooking (with no gloves). The tables are frequently sticky and they dump dirty rags into dirty water to clean the tables. Id wipe off your silverware before you use it too. The only positive feedback outside of the egg rolls are the staff. Theyre fast and nice and accommodating.

I have eaten here several times, and the food has been good. Tonight, I was very disappointed. We walked in and I noticed that the lunch special had been General Tous chicken with a spicy dark sauce with noodles. After we were seated, the waitress never left and was impatient for our order. She stood over us like a policeman writing a ticket. She wrote down my sons order and when my husband reconsidered his order, she said that she would turn our sons order in and left! My husband had only hesitated. Finally she took his order. Then my son had to go to the bathroom. Just then the food was coming. She was visably iritated that my son and husband were leaving. My husband ordered ORANGE CHICHEN and I ordred the (normal) General Tous Chicken. YOU COULD NOT TELL THEM APART. They were both SMOTHERED in the "Spicy" brown sauce. It was not spicy. It tasted like a bean sauce and it dominated the flavor. There was no "orange" or spice flavor. Only a smothered brown sauce taste. I left mine on the table. BEWARE OF THE BROWN SAUCE

This was the worst Chinese food i have ever eaten in the 44 years ive been on this earth. Ever since i left Michigan about 11 years ago i have not been able to find even halfway decent Chinese food. I thought the Chinese restaurants in Killeen Texas were bad but at least they are edible. I ordered the pressed chicken which is chicken breast battered and deep fried and then cut into strips. I should have known something wasnt right when the told me less than 10 minutes, i got there in 7 minutes and it was ready and bagged up for me, they gave me hard chicken that was refried and the crust was very very oily. That was my first and last time ever order food from this place, if you know what good Chinese food should taste like save your money and time and eat somewhere else.

Ive never had a complain before about china delight. I think order takeout about 5-6 times a year because we love their special fried rice. Well today that changed and for the worse. Friday I ordered take out,we ate half of our rice and like usual we put the rest in the fridge for the next day. Today (saturday) my husband poured the whole plate in a one of our plates, heated it up in the microwave started eating it and bam! He felt somthing ruberry in his mouth. Took it out and it was a rubber ring in the rice!!!! Thats disgusting if you ask me! I dont know where that came out of! Were yet to call their "management". We will find out Monday.
