I dont understand the negative reviews because I ate there while I was in Houston for a job interview. Ive had chinese food in San Diego, Austin, Chicago, Dallas and Fort Worth and never had food as fresh and delicious as this places. I was confused by the fact that the pictures online looked nothing like it on the inside but sat down to eat anyway. The wait staff was friendly, polite and attentive. We had egg rolls and egg drop soup before general tsos chicken and brocilli beef. Everything was perfect and I almost took the job because of this chinese place so perhaps they are under new management or something? If the quality of food is most important for you, give this place a try.

Appallingly bad food. Went there for lunch because its close to my office and the other reviews were OK. I ordered the lunch with wonton soup, lemon chicken and egg roll. Unidentifiable broth was tepid and cabbage and carrot were raw. Lemon chicken was awful. It appeared to be frozen breaded chicken strips covered in what I think was Karo syrup. No lemon flavor at all. Egg roll was OK (although it was a spring roll and not an egg roll). Even the fortune cookie was stale. I felt like I was being punked. All I can say good about it is it was fast and the waiter was cordial.

My wife is Chinese and I was raised in France. Although my wife is a wonderful cook we often find ourselves headed to Red Pepper because we know we will have a great dining experience there and a wonderfully friendly staff. I highly recommend the Jalapeno Chicken, the Orange Chicken, the Asparagus Soup and the Sweet and Sour Soup.My taste does run toward the spicy but anyone will be happy with the menu as the selection is truly huge.I recommend Red Pepper to anyone and without any reservations

This place is definitely fit for foodies and people who like to taste lots of different things in one meal. Id call it Chinese tapas! :) The quality of the ingredients and flavors were great, me and my friend were both quite impressed. We both chose to do the $18 course (they had $25 and $35 menu as well). The menu is set up like a chefs tasting menu, and I really loved that about this place. If youre into quality and not quantity, I think this place is a great place for you! :)

I have eaten at this place for a couple of years now. I have eaten in and called in for delivery. Well, I called in for delivery the other day, I opened my tea to add sugar and there was a roach on the lemon that they put in the tea. I called in and asked for some type of refund because of course there was no way I would or could eat the rest of the meal. They said they would credit the tea but still havent. Needless to say I wont be eating there for a long while.

My first experience in person food was excellent. Therefore for Christmas Holiday I suggested this restaurant to family. I Order $70.00 plus dinner to go. And the response from family. The general chicken was old it was fried hard as if eating just skin. It appeared maybe recook. I very sorry to have order for family members& the manor the food was prepared. I called & basically how the gentleman stated he would talk to his cook and just brush me off. Sincerely,

The food is mild, not enough flavor, the meat -so called chicken breast- is very questionable, I have never seen a chicken breast with that many muscle strings on it!!... mmm got very suspicious. When I asked the owner-waiter what part of chicken meat he was serving?? he became defensively arrogant, cold and plain rude. I?? just left the meat untouched, I got nauseated at the thought of being served some obscure animal protein.. I am never coming back!!

This was some of the most awful food and delivery service I have ever experienced. The food was nothing but greasy bland noodles with 4 pieces of dry chicken in it. The delivery driver spoke no English and I had to walk around my entire complex to find him and he laughed as if it were a joke. It is pretty hard to f**k up Chinese food, but they figured out how to do it. Do not eat/order from here.

If you buy a frozen PF Changs meal, you will have better food and saved money. We ordered Beef Lo Mein which I can only describe as, what you would expect at a second rate truck stop outside of Reno. If they had a 24hr serve yourself asain buffet bar. But that would be an insult to some truck stops. The jalapeño chicken had no flavor, but did include a substantial amount of water in the container.

Hadnt been here in a long while but it looks like theyve redone the outside. Came back for my all time favs of shrimp fried rice, spinach dumplings, and honey walnut shrimp. I cant find any other place that serves spinach dumplings like this place. And ohmigod...the honey walnut shrimp is to die for!! The shrimp is delicious and goes really well with the caramelized walnuts. Ill be back soon!

We have dined at this place twice. The food is regular asian food, nothing fancy, prices are higher than the quality of food. The main drawback of this place is the arrogant waiter/owner of this place, who does not treat you well. We will not dine here again. Take out should be OK, but there are other restaurants nearby who have better quality of food for the same or less price.

Great lunch break place, fast service. They have a good lunch menu with plenty off options good prices. The only downfall is you dont know who youre waiter/waitress is cause one takes your order, one brings your drinks and refills, another brings food, and another does the check.

Late night after I called in for a little bit to eat and to my surprise it was the best fried rice that I have have since we moved to Houston. The veggie egg rolls were perfect.I think I have found the perfect spot for my Chinese food & cant wait to sample the entire menu.

The staff greet me over the phone and in person by name. The food quality and taste is excellent. I have been eating red pepper on a regular basis for over 10 years and will keep coming back. I highly recommend stopping in or ordering delivery/take out!

Very tasty food and the service is excellent. A little hole in the wall place with a lot to offer. The healthy menu options are authentic. They change your plates as you go to through courses. Family style servings. It is great for friends.

I had the steak and scallops, and everything including the veggies were cooked enough to be tender, but not overcooked. The service was good as well, my drink was never empty.
