After reading a comment from a reviewer stating, "Only customers with bad experiences leave reviews..." I disagree. I have left positive reviews for this Pizza Hut before, just like I do for any other business that provides good service. So Im not attacking anyone, but I want to defend others that leave negative comments for good reasons. The Pizza Hut in Cedar Hill has slipped into a downward spiral now for a while and its not getting any better. The lack of customer service by certain individuals that work at this location is very poor. Management personnel today are younger individuals who have not been taught what customer service is all about. I have witnessed a few of the young management staff at other restaurants, and they have provided excellent customer service. Thats because I suppose they were taught the right way and the company they work for take pride in satisfying their customers. But this particular Pizza Huts management team let their employees talk rude on the phone, speak like their uneducated and have no telephone skills when talking to customers, and lie to keep from listening to your complaint. On a positive note, there are maybe 2 individuals here that speak very intelligently and try their best to address your concerns, but the other employees answering the phone at this location need to "STAY OFF THE PHONE!!" To keep from making this a long, drawn-out review, the Cedar Hill Pizza Hut receives a lot of business from the residents in this city, and theres no reason for sloppy, inefficient, rude, inattentive, careless service coming from this location. Anytime youre repeatedly told by the employees that "the delivery driver is having problems with their vehicle", when its taking 3 hours for your pizza to be delivered, is a lame and tired excuse being driven into the ground like the vehicle being used to deliver the pizza. I know thats not the case for every delivery, so changes should be made for this location to revamp their image and shine like the Pizza Hut we once knew. P.S...Notice I didnt say anything about the food, because I enjoy the pizza and wings from this location. Its the quality of service, attention to detail, and more accurate delivery times that should be changed. Periodic customer service training of personnel can go a long way and keep businesses from receiving negative reviews. Cedar Hill is not that big, but growing, so theres no reason for bad service.

This is the worst Pizza Hut location I have ever been too and at first I was a regular customer. I ordered pizza late on a Friday night around 11:20 (first mistake), the girl who took the order was rude and impatient. She said that the food would be to me around 12:11, almost an hour. After that time had passed, I called to ask where my food was. The guy who answered was like we are closed, I explained to him that I had already placed an order and the Pizza Hut recording said if you already have an order then stay on the line to speak to someone, He was like its on the way. The pizza did not get to me until 12:24, thats over an hour. The pizza was very cold and the wings I ordered, HAD LITTLE OR NO SAUCE ON THEM AND I ORDERED HONEY BARBECUE. What was the point of asking me what kind of wings I wanted? The very next day my roommate ordered wings, I had advised her of my bad experience on multiple occasions and she still placed an order for wings. When we got there, they could not find her name, when they finally found the order, they handed them to her and she went to they car opened them and the same thing as before, they had little to no sauce on these dry wings. She took them back inside and they fixed it and said they were out of ranch. The food and the service has really gone down. I will drive past this location from now on

This Pizza Hut Sucks. Please beware when ordering from this location. One night I had some friends over and ordered from this location. Almost an hour later when we called back to check on our order, they stated that they went to deliver the pizza but no one answered. My friends and I were in shock. I told the person on the phone that was a lie. The driver stated that it was the house with candles in the window. I said no youre wrong; we dont have any candles on our windows. He said well we took it to your house. After I was upset by the lack of customer service and attitude, I and my friends took off to Pizza hut. Once we were there the Manager was a kid that appeared to be no older than 18 and was clueless. After telling him how upset we were and the embarrassment with my guest, we got a free 2 liter coke out of the whole ordeal. Another 2 times that I called, once the wait was an hour and a half and the other time they werent accepting more delivery orders because they only had one driver. This place stinks.

Today I decided to have a pizza delivered since I just had surgery and couldnt drive cause I normally do carry out My son ordered the pizza at 6:52 I had him call around 7:22 to find out why the pizza hadnt gotten here yet and was told we should expect our pizza at 8:35 seriously so I call back ask to speak with a manager who only explanation for why we was not told when we order that it would take that long was they are busy so I asked would the pizza be fresh and her answer was if not I could send it back and they could redo the order seriously we already waited an hour in a half and my boys are hungry ok so then the pizza finally gets here and it was not good at all we ordered that new pizza with the cheese bites which cheese was burnt on some but my boys were hungry and wanted to keep the pizza and since I cant drive right now I had no choice but to keep the pizza so my boys could have dinner I would say the one positive to this experience was the delivery driver was very pleasant #unhappydeliverycustomer#

For the third time this year alone, my pizza was not delivered in a timely manner. Yesterday in particular, I ordered online ahead of time in the early a.m. for my order to be delivered by 11:15. I am an educator and we have very limited time for lunch so it is imperative that I receive my lunch on time. It was after 12 pm when the driver finally showed up, 15 minutes after my lunch break was over. This is unacceptable and if there is only one driver then that should be communicated sooner than later. I called the store once it was 35 minutes late to check on my order and her response was, "Yeah, we have a hard time keeping drivers and there MAY only be one right now so he should be there when he can." If there is that big of a problem then that should be communicated that there may be delays in the delivery, not have somebody waiting and watching for it for an hour with no communication. I am not one who likes to tear down places on public review boards but this will be shared.
