Worst experience to date. Placed my order online and was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant and was told my order was not ready. I waited an additional 30 minutes before the order was completed. The biggest problem was that two of the three orders were cooked and sitting under the warmer. The third order was cooked approximately thirty minutes after the first two. When I asked why this occurred the cashier had no reply. I asked for the manager and was told he was cooking. When I finally spoke with the manager I asked him why this occurred. His reply was simply "I do not know." "Sometimes this happens." "That they got busy all of a sudden. I then replied how can this happen when there is three orders on the ticket. Also your system is computerized so dont tell me you guys dont know your getting backed up with orders. He never offered anything other than he was sorry. This is not the first time that this Pei Wei location has told me 20 minutes and it can take up to an hour. On the contrary it has happened numerous times. However never was part of my order sitting so long while the other part of the order was totally ignored. The other big problem I did not see one employee working there that was over the age of probably 23. They are running their business with a bunch of inexperienced kids. Shame on Pei Wei because there is no good excuse for this. Nothing wrong with young people working but you must have someone with years of experience to lead them and be present. So I recommend not ordering to go because you will at some point be sadly disappointed.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I love Pei Wei food, but this location is always WAY late with getting pick up orders. Tonight, I placed my order before 5pm. I was given a pick up time of 5:30. At 5:40, after we paid, we were told our food would be ready in another 25 minutes. Then, when I wanted to cancel payment, they took an additional 10 to 15 minutes. I asked to see the manager to have him cancel, and they said he was busy, and just wanted me to write my name down and leave without giving me a refund. I have now wasted an hour to get dinner, with a hungry family in the car, and still no dinner. And, after all this trouble, I did not even hear the words "Im sorry for your trouble." An apology would have at least made me feel less angry. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. GET TAKE OUT ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived at Pei Wei in the Hill Country Galleria at 5:30 on a Friday, 4 April 2014. We have eaten here many times before, however today the experience left a lot to be desired. First off, the drink machine was almost completely empty, something the staff forgot to inform of us of before charging us for the drinks. When asked if they could reload the machine, we were told "the Coke guy comes on Wednesday" and nothing was done. Secondly, the restaurant was filthy, in particular the floor, several tables and the drink counter. There did not appear to be anyone in charge who was making decisions and a lot of the staff seemed to be focused on things other than work. All in all, we were disappointed and will probably go to China Pacific down the road on 620.

We ordered take out. Tough lumps of beef, little sauce so most of rice was dried out, the scallions were non existent and to say was tossed in source is wrong, tossed at sauce and missed was a better description. This was for Mongolian. My wife ordered Caramel with shrimp and white rice. They had run out of white rice so was offered noodles. Overall her meal was as bad as mine. We used to order regularly from Pei Wei when we lived in Florida. That was always gourmet compared to what we were given this evening. We will never order from Pei Wei again.

If you are calling in an order during lunch time, be prepared to still be on hold during the drive time. Staff is too busy to answer the phone. I was in the queue position #1 for over 20 minutes and they answered the phone as I pulled into their parking. After I paid and waited, I noticed the phone rang several times with no one to answer. Very frustrating! Also, about 1 out of 4 visits, they seem to run out of the Mandarin tea there and it takes a while for them to brew a new batch.

I will start by I love Pei Wei food. But, this location is just not up to the normal standards. Last time my orange peel shrimp didnt arrive with the snap peas. This time they brought one of the appetizers with the main course and one after the main course was served. Think that I will stick with the Pei Wei in Austin where I have never had an issue after visiting many times.

They really didnt seem to have it together there. I ordered between 3 and 4 pm. The hostess was all over the place and it didnt seem to be that busy at all. No one was even in the dining room. I ordered the chicken fried rice with no veggies, and it was crunchy. The meal had no flavor. Id suggest going somewhere else especially for their prices.

During our most recent visit, my husband and I wanted to order the Ahi tuna salad. They did not have any tuna defrosted. Then, we tried to order sesame chicken on rice. They were out of brown and white rice. Then they offered quinoa, and charged us an extra dollar. Very disappointed with the selection and customer service here.

Great food, focused staff. The only thing is that sometimes when they are busy that shouldnt be taken lightly. If you are ordering online expect it to run about 30 minutes longer than requested pick up time and try to remember your dealing with humans. Not machines.

had the lettuce wraps and bowl of hot and sour. way too filling. decent service. I wish they served shark fin soup. just kidding. Semi SCD - chicken lettuce wraps without the crunchy white little goodness. somewhat sweet. i think they add sugar. oh well.

Food is always very good , people are super friendly - seating area is disgusting ! Got here at open , all tables dirty and floor was soo sticky almost lost my shoes walking to my table !! Someone needs to tell these people how to clean !

The food is usually good, fast, and a good deal. Occasionally the wait times are way too long, and the food tastes sub par, but 9/10 times it is very good.

Im not sure what the disconnect is, but I have to check my order each time because there is usually something wrong. Wrong rice, wrong specs (no veg), etc.
