The husband and I decided to try them since, like every one else on here, they left a pamphlet on our apartment door. The lady on the phone... she seemed okay. I literally had to keep asking her to repeat herself over, and over... and over. Her English is worse than the ladies at the nail salon (seriously). I finally got around to finishing our ordering, and she seemed very blunt in asking me questions, I didnt find her rude. We ordered a Won-ton Soup, Beef Lo Mein, Singapore Rice Noodles, 2 Egg rolls and 10 pcs chicken wings. We did like the fact that the portions were so big for the price. You can literally feed a family of roughly 4-5 people with these portions! It seemed the same lady I spoke with over the phone was the one who delivered the food. I wasnt thinking when signing the receipt and tipped her $2.00. But now tasting their food and having to throw away most of it, I am glad I did. My husband loves Singapore Rice Noodles, but this had almost no veggies and all rice noodles. It was very bland. He tried to make it taste better by adding some eggs (which had none) and a little salt. He literally threw it in the disposal because it was just never going to taste as good as it should, and he just could not save it from Food Hell. My Beef Lo Mein, it LOOKED good, but tasted so bland. I literally had to add salt!. The beef IN the LO MEIN was soooo rubbery, I kept asking my husband if this was some kind of imitation beef (lol). The texture just wasnt... beef. The egg rolls are the size of the fingers of a child, and I paid $1 PER egg roll. WOW! Chicken wings had NO flavor either, we had to add salt, and even then we asked for original wings, it was FRIED. The Won-ton Soup, it was probably the only thing I actually ate. The "sweet and sour" sauce they gave us, was probably not even sauce. Water with red dye probably. At first I was disappointed I didnt give little ol lady a nice tip, but I am now glad I didnt give her more than what I did. TL;DR - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BUYING FROM THESE "WANNABE" CHINESE RESTAURATEURS. ALL OF THESE BAD REVIEWS ARE RIGHT. DISAPPOINTED THAT WE DID NOT READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING!

My boyfriend and I found their pamphlet on the apartment door and decided to give them a try, bad choice. We called in the order and spoke to someone whos first language was obviously not English and we ordered Crispy Sesame Chicken with fried rice, Pork Lo Mein, and 8 Crab Ragoons, there was also a coupon on the advertisement that offered free chicken wings on all orders over $20. So we get our order in a timely manner, but it did not look appetizing at all. We decided not to judge a book by its cover and give it a go, but were disappointed when we bit into old, rubbery, with sauces that were so watered down our food was swimming. The free chicken wings were burnt in old oil and tasted terrible. We threw it all out and was not even going to try to call and complain because we would have been on the phone just over enunciating our words in order for someone to understand us. So to sum this up - do not go to China House, do not recommend anyone to go to China House, and we will for sure be willing to pay a little more and continue to give business to Bamboo Bistro!!!!

Love China house. You get SO MUCH FOOD!!!!!! Not only do you get so much, its also so damn good!!!! Best bang for Buck on the north side. Everything is tasty. We live in the area and its our favorite!!! Delivery is fast, dining in is as well. Really friendly too. Oh and by BTW, to the people leaving reviews saying "literally hang up in my face" I cannot take anything you say seriously, Literally. Just.... What. You make no sense, in my face. Also to the people ordering chicken wings and complaining.... Order buffalo wild wings if you want wings. And rice, yea stuff goes on it. Like soy sauce, butter, spices, etc. It makes it taste good. Its okay to add to it, thats how ya eat rice.. ESP. White rice at that. It isnt a budda bowl. Chill.

I decided to try it yet play it safe. I ordered combination fried rice, garlic wings, and an eggroll. When I called the lady who answered was pleasant and gave me a 40 minute ETA. The order arrived in 30 minutes. The veggie eggrolls were decent yet the wings and rice were greasy with no flavor. I do not like to add soy sauce yet the rice needed something and it didnt work. I ate 1 wing and threw them away. I ate a 1/4 of the rice then trashed it.This is cheap yet not work it, the best cheap place is on Riverside in the plaza with bingo. I will stick to eating at my two tried and true Chinese places --- Asian Bistro and Hunan Ranch --- even though they dont deliver. Save your money, time, calories yet most importantly your mouth!

Reasons why you should NEVER order from here: -It took three phone calls for the asian woman, who obviously didnt understand english, to write down my address -It took them an hour to deliver my food, when they said it would only take 20 minutes -They overcharged me $10 -They delivered the wrong food, instead of sweet and sour chicken it was some poop looking patties that tasted like eggs -Their creepy deliver guy walked into my house without invitation and asked me what I was up to No exaggeration here. This place needs to go out of business. Sincerely, Your now obese customer after eating your food.

If I could give them no stars I would! We went there for lunch and all there food was almost gone. Worst place ever to go to! We asked them as we were leaving if they change the food out and the lady said sometimes then we said do you ever refresh the food and she looked at us and then looked at the food and looked down, so I take that as a NO! Our meal was 15 dollars, worse 15 dollars I have ever spent. They didnt even have the AC on then when we set down they turned it on to 78 when its cooler outside! This place is a joke! I will never be back! I will be calling the health inspector as well.

Dont do it!!!! First the lady that answered the phone was rude, she took my credit card number then just hung up. Didnt say hold on or thank you. I literally gave her my card info then she hung up. I called back and she said do you need something else...seriously?... I ordered crab ragoon and theres nothing inside, its just the fried shell, no cream cheese or anything inside. Just a dry shell....??? Food was luke warm and I live less than 5 miles away from the restaurant. I asked for orange chicken and I have no clue what this dish is but its definitely not orange chicken. Waste of money.

I got off work late and saw a flyer from this place so me and my husband decided to order. I ordered the crispy sesame chicken with lo mien. The chicken was OLD rubbery drenched in watery sauce and the lo mien was all one block of microwaved spaghetti. I called China House to let them know I was disappointed and can they make me a fresh plate Im willing to pick it up, the lady on the phone begin arguing saying its FRESH its FRESH as you order!!! So I gave her the option to make me a new plate or refund my money she HANG UP IN MY FACE!
