This place should be called DeyNasty!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS. Please do not eat here. My sister and I debated on how to tell the lady that we wanted to exchange our dish because we really did not want to complain. Im a server myself and have been in the restaurant business for quite a while. So I politely explained to our server that there were barely any shrimp in the batter of our walnut shrimp and that we wanted to get a different shrimp dish. She took the plate off the table went to the back and came back a few minutes later with the same plate and said that we still have to eat that and pay for it but we can add on something else!!! I didnt want the walnut shrimp anymore since she took it to the back and moved it around. The manager came out and asked us what else we want and I was so taken back by how rude she was and told her I changed my mind about another dish and that I dont want to pay for the shrimp. She got so loud and started yelling. How humiliating, long story short police got involved and we didnt have to pay for the shrimp. But then I went home and had a stomach ache and diarrhea shortly after from the sesame chicken. Again, PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!! Hunan lion in round rock at 35 and 79 is the best if you want great chinese, the police officer that came to assist us even said so. Or even hoho Chinese restaurant but do not go to dyNASTY!!! This place is a nightmare.

Ive been going to this restaurant for 8 years. I have to say the prices have gone UP and the quality has gone DOWN. I ordered 2 dishes to take out which came out to close to $30. The food was not good at all to my surprise. First I was surprised that they changed their prices (increases) and then getting bad take out. The orange chicken turned out to be little strips of chicken way over fried to the point of it being dried and stringy with way too much batter on the outside and then they covered it with WAY TOO MUCH sauce. Terrible dish! The other dish was a dinner combo of chicken, beef and shrimp with vegetables. Again the chicken was little strips of chicken and there was very little beef and some shrimp. The items that came with the combo dinner were half good. The beef on a kabob stick was dried out, the fried chicken leg had very little meat on it and a ton of batter on the outside. The wonton was decent and the egg roll ok. All in all not a good experience. Shocking after all the years of going here.

Dynasty Chinese is under new management and it is now better than next-door Asia Cafe. Dynasty Chinese serves absolutely superb, authentic Sichuan and Hunan cuisine. Having lived in China, I can say this is the real deal. Its more appealing to a typical Americans palette than Asia Cafe, but its completely authentic; youll see plenty of local Chinese eating here. My only complaint is ordering to go takes a while if they are busy, and there is nowhere to sit while you wait. If youre not familiar with the cuisine, I suggest trying the twice cooked pork (tell the waiter you want Chinese style), dry pot beef, eggplant in garlic sauce, mapo tofu, hot and sour shredded potato, dried sauteed green beans, or water spinach in garlic sauce. Each one Ive tried is like Im in China again. So good.

I have had it with the lady who answers the phone. She argues with me every time I order my food, and never understands what is going on; and to top it off my food always comes wrong. The last time, today, not only was my food wrong, but the pork in the pork and cabbage soup was bad...the pork meat was old & then when I called to simply inform them and not even ask for my money back...she argued with me...argued! Im done ordering from this establishment! Ever since this woman was hired I have had problem after problem. Do not order from here...you will be left disappointed, they used to be good; but the new management or owners have changed it and I will never order from here again.

My mother and father took me here when i was an infant, and the staff was dumb founded by an infant eating hot and sour soup and loving it! One of the waitress knew me by name as i grew up, i have been coming here all my life, and i have loved the food. Recently i went in and they were having issues with their card machine, the person helping me treated me as if it was my fault their machine wasnt working, and told me that if the machine doesnt read the next time she swips it im not getting any food (i work at a bank so i know it wasnt anything to do with my card)... Broke my heart that i was treated that way, when i have been a long time customer, i will never go back!

Ive been going to this Chinese restaurant since I was 5 years old. I am now 29 and still frequent this restaurant. Hands down the best Chinese food in the area. Mongolian beef sticks are absolutely fantastic. The egg rolls taste just fine I dont know what the other guy was talking about. The management and staff have always been great. Absolutely love sesame seed chicken as well as the hot and sour soup my wife always gets the beef and broccoli. I just purchased a home in the area and plan on getting all of my Chinese food from this restaurant.

Ive never wrote a 1 star review for restaurant before. This is the first. (0 if I can) Went there first time today with my colleague and got an absolutely bad experience. The woman serving us just give us a pen and paper to order by ourselves. I ordered lunch special with an menu item id in the front and she ordered the dinner portion for us. When paying for the check we noticed that she ordered the wrong one and she keeps arguing that we should take responsibility. Even refusing to find out the order I wrote. Will never go back again.

Been going here for 10+ years, its the first place I tried Chinese food from as a kid. Its my favorite place to get sesame chicken HANDS DOWN. I find myself wishing I was eating their food at other Chinese restaurants in the area. I loathe having Chinese leftovers usually but this is the only place where I love their leftovers the next day :)) Their wonton soup, fried rice and pho is great as well. Its so nice to see the same people every time I get pick up or eat in :) Definitely worth a try! Dont miss out :)

Overpriced, not very tasty, and tiny portions. We ordered the chef special vixen chicken and it had maybe 10 small chunks of chicken. The rest of the plate was filed with red pepper and since cellery. The walnut shrimp was fried. Ive never seen it done this way before. The sizzling beef was barely sizzling and had a ton of jalapeno. 0 for 3 on simple, recognizable dishes. Those 3 dishes came out to $47. There are better Chinese restaurants in Austin.
