Came here for brunch with my friend and was not too impressed. I made a reservation for us online, but it wasnt really necessary, there was quite a bit of open tables when we arrived but it started to fill up. There is street parking and the garage, I believe they validate parking at the restaurant, but I did street parking. The restaurant is located behind the old Power Plant off of Cesar, if you turn on the street for North Lamar, you should be able to get to the garage, and walk up to the restaurant. I did notice that myself and multiple other guests told the hostess they all had a hard time finding the location. It is a bit tricky, there arent that many signs from the street to know where its located. The restaurant itself is fairly small in my opinion, most of the tables are upstairs. The outside has a ton of seating though, but in the Texas heat at this time those werent really being used. Both my friend and I wanted to order the Fried Chicken brunch dish, but we were told they were out of that as well as another dish. The menu is pretty small to begin with. There are about 10 main entree dishes (brunch and non-brunch items) menus, so to be out of two dishes seems like a poor operational choice there. I asked if they had any other chicken dishes, and she suggested chicken tenders from the kids menu (who knew they had a kids menu). I ordered that with grits and my friend got the burger. We were going to order the fries as an appetizer but since we could get it with both or meals we ended up doing that instead, turned out cheaper too. The server came back and told me they didnt have tenders and only had nuggets, at this point I should have known. I noticed other tables got the beer bread and the fries as starters, they are quite small for the price. The beer bread is about 2 middle size muffins, and the fries order is barely bigger than the side that comes with the meal. The fries were way too greasy, and far too much breading it was hard to digest. I love fries but I had to stop eating them after two it was too dense and greasy to even eat. The nuggets were also way too breaded and greasy also couldnt even eat that many. The burger was okay, but very messy. I was not feeling the grits, there was a sauce and cilantro in it.... Overall for the price we paid here for brunch, there are so many other amazing food places around town that I wouldnt return or recommend it.

The servers need some more time with the menu and ingredients. Ours wasnt really knowledgeable about the cocktails, and even offered an *incorrect* answer (we got the correct one from the bartender). Prices are a bit high -- my 50/50 Manhattan was small for $12. Make that $10, and Id order several more. Food was tasty. We ordered the raclette platter and the sausage platter, along with a couple of the small plates. Maybe a tad spendy, but acceptable. I switched to the house wine, after the overpriced cocktail, and that was reasonably priced and good tasting for a house wine.

I visited this place yesterday evening before my hair appointment and was intrigued by the lunch & dinner menu. Ive been told the food was pretty awesome. Everything looked amazing and reasonably priced. Today 7/15/16 for lunch I tried the cuban sandwich, Ive never had a cuban sandwich before so wasnt sure what to expect. I was disappointed the sandwich and the chips were so salty it didnt make me go for the other half. The flavors were disappointing. I hear their burgers are good, so if I go again think I will stick with the good ole american cheeseburger.

Our server, Drew, was well versed with the menu. He had tastsy recommendations for us. Muhammra was absolutely delicious. It was a mix of cumin, walnut, coriander, and yogurt served with sesame cracker. Scrumptious. Maplebrook farms burrata was also delicious. The pomodore sauce was an interesting replacement for actual tomato in the classic version. Worked for our palate nicely. Sausage platter is a big dish with the kinds of sausages: Andouille was a bit spicy but overall my favorite. Fennel-Ginger was a new experience for me, very unique

New restaurant in the booming condo section of downtown (in the old Seaholm plant). The cocktails are certifiably great, and the food isnt bad either. Its just "almost new york" pricey - and given the plethora of NotSoPricey options available in Austin, you might want to factor that in. That said, its also a bit of a Scene - everybody shows up dressed to the nines, the basement-lounge waitstaff is all kitted out in HipsterBlack™, etc. The bottom line - thisll make you feel like youre back in Brooklyn (for good or for bad)

Stopped in for a predinner drink and snack in the basement lounge. The beer bread was smoky and tasty. The steak frites were well seasoned and warming on a rare cold day. The drinks were tasty, but not incredible. Im glad we came during happy hour. Service was attentive. The industrial atmosphere was offset by the wood furniture and candles. I would like to return and try out the full menu as well as the observatory deck.

Excellent place for a dinner outing! They were accommodating to our request for a table change, and the service was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended getting the beer bread, it was a delicious appetizer with a unique taste. The restaurant also has a great selection of beers for those interested. Only downside would be that all the items on the menu are a bit pricy, so be prepared to dig into your wallet.

Please take the pimento cheese sandwich off the menu. That was one of the worst things Ive eaten out, in a long time. Greasy, very little cheese, and some very off-putting anise flavor herb that I think was basil but it was way too strong/overpowering. I ate a few bites and left it. The waitress asked if I didnt like it, I said I didnt...and that was it. She just walked off and never said anything.

Late lunch here. Tried several small plates and all were tasty (beer bread, ribs, red pepper dip). Po-boy sandwich was good but not great - too much bun for the filling. Draft beer list had some really interesting picks, but wish it had been a bit longer. We were having a bit of a business meeting and waiters were super respectful. Will go back. Was a bit hard to find from garage 1st time.

I really love this place. It has a few different "atmospheres" to choose from and they all offer great drinks and delicious food. The rooftop deck is really cool and the main restaurant has a great vibe to it. Definitely try the shrimp cocktail (its not your ordinary shrimp cocktail!) and the Green Velvet cocktail. Im looking forward to trying the brunch menu on the weekend.

This place has 3 different areas. When you walk in is the main dining area and bar top. The open pizza oven gives the entire place a smokey ambiance thats really cozy. Downstairs is another bar, darker and more intimate. Finally, theres the patio bar above the main dining room. All serve great drinks and food!

Really cool place. Two areas are here really the first two floors are indoor and is the more formal eating area and bar. The second area is the third floor which is a rooftop outdoor observation deck and more casual. Each area has their own food and drink menus. Definitely worth checking out
