Burgers are GREAT. Fries are AWESOME. But heres what no ones mentioning in these reviews. There are no servers!! I went tonight on Ladies Night... my friend got there before me and advised Id need to grab my drink at the bar because she had waited several minutes before realizing there was no one to grab her drink order. So ok.. grabbing my own drinks, thats alright... So we were confused.. .do we have to tab out and go order food in the next room, or would someone grab our order at our table, or do we order at the bar? My friend finally asked the bartender and we were given a laminated menu and told to order at the bar. So we have to physically walk up to the bar to place an order... Who does this at a burger bar!? Who makes their customers walk back and forth to pay money for drinks and food?? I finally asked what Im assuming was a manager, if they had servers.. I was told they had a "different" concept, where you walk-up to order. Oh, you mean different because your other bartenders are sitting there on their phones on Facebook, versus asking your patrons if they can get them anything else? I get it... You guys dont like tips! You should have said that in the first place. Ive only tipped less than 20% maybe 3x in the past 10 years.... Grease Monkey was one of these places. Sheesh. OH OH OH - forgot to mention... the one female bartender was making faces at all the female customers!! Im sorry if youre having a bad day, sweetheart, but my laughter and happiness does not require a rude expression on your face. Get it together honey.

The food is great and theres a wide selection of drinks, but the space is very crowded and confusing. You have to go into a separate room to order your food, which I wasnt even aware of until I asked one of my friends where I could get a burger. The food is also kind of pricey for a joint that seems to be geared towards college kids who have little money. The night that I went there was also a band playing, and they were practically tossing equipment over my friends heads to get to the stage (going back to how crowded this space is). Once they started playing it got really loud and impossible to hear even people sitting right next to me, so we ended up moving to another location. Would go if youre looking for good food and drinks, but not if you plan on talking to anyone.

Thirteen members of our motorcycle group visited the Grease Monkey and were all blown away by the awesome food and great service we enjoyed. I called the day before to let them know we were coming and they had a table set up and waiting for us when we arrived. My wife and I each had the Chicken Fried Bacon Chipotle Burger and shared a basket of fries. The burgers were fresh, juicy, and delicious, and we couldnt finish all of the fries. Everyone in our group loved the atmosphere and raved about the food, so we will definitely be going back for more. Oh yeah, did I mention that our burgers had battered, deep fried bacon on them! Im not sure what that did to my arteries, but it was so good that at this point I really dont care. I see more of that in my future.

This is the first review I have ever written and I will be glad to remove it once the owner of this restaurant responds. I have heard from a friend this is a great place to get a burger. I happen to be in Arlington today and decided to stop. I walked in the restaurant and sat down. There was a guy behind the bar and two waitresses at the end. However I think one was leaving. There was my self and 5 others in the restaurant . I sat for almost 15 min with no acknowledgement from staff. Made eye contact several times . When I finally decided to leave the waitress stared at me the entire time I was walking to the truck with no care or concern. I have been a business owner for over 20 years . This is unacceptable .

Not sure what all the hype is about. I thought it was very average. Stopped by Sat night at 11pm after the PBR. I would not consider that late on a Sat but was told they were on a late night limited menu. If you are going to offer a basic hamburger or cheeseburger at a burger joint why wouldnt you offer all the different type of burgers you offer? Pros: Big Burgers Good Atmosphere Decent Prices Super friendly staff, big plus Cons: Buns were doughy or soggy Ordered grilled onions but they forgot. Very skimpy on fries I think my plate literally had 10 fries Might give them another shot during normal dinner hours but not going out of my way to eat there again.

If its your first time to go, you need to enter through the green "screen" door to order your food. There is outdoor seating with some shade, but not totally covered. There is a variety of burgers that can be ordered with chicken served on a fresh bun as well as salads. Standard fried side options including fried pickles. The food was good but not great. We went for lunch and waited 25 mins for our burgers to be ready. It was not that busy, so I was glad we were not in a hurry. The vibe is for an adult crowd. I was okay having my 5 year old with me during lunch, but am not sure about the dinner crowd and environment.

Just two of us walked in; Thursday night and not very busy for apparent reasons. After waiting for 15 minutes for service, walked out. Even a smart-aleck worker said while leaving, "thanks, come again" knowing full well we had not even ordered anything. Apparently if youre a regular, you get to order. They broke rule number 1: dont make it hard to take my money. Another restaurant got my $71 dollar drink and food order and $15 for the server. Its one of those places that thinks theyre too cool unless you go to their school.

This place is great. The burgers here are very good, and the prices are tolerable. Getting a little towards the high side, but not unreasonable. Great flavor and ingredients. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is actually the presentation of the burger. If you dont order fries you literally just get this burger on a tray and it looks so small and all I could think was how it seemed like a ripoff. The size turned out to be fine, but the presentation made it feel smaller than it was. Overall, great place. Ill come back.

DELICIOUS as always Meat is fresh and what you expect a $7.89+ burger to be...fresh At the "veggies bar" everything was fresh as well, tomatoes are my main complaint at other restaurants and this place has the best fresh crispy tomatoes.. I would only suggest that they put the meat on an absorbent material before putting on bun as it makes the bun soggy,or just put a leaf of lettuce on bottom bun.. Clean area and parking was great

Ate here once & never again! Flies everywhere & horrible attitudes from management/owners. This food service dive is dirty & has what one might consider the filthiest restrooms in town. If youre health conscience and prefer a clean eating environment then beware of this place- dirty establishment=dirty food!! The good reviews I see here must be posted by friends of the program cause no way! I wish I could leave zero stars!
