First time out of town visitor that never got a chance to eat the food because the customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!! Chessie the "Manager" needs to be FIRED because she lacks the ability to manage and or communicate effectively when there is a large party involved. Here is a short story (Corporate will receive full version) how things went horribly wrong. On April 30th, 4 of the 17 family members arrived at 1PM was informed was informed by male hostess that we couldnt be seated until all parties were there (ok no problem) Male hostess and Chessie stated once all parties arrive they have an area waiting to accommodate the family. All family members arrived at 1:45PM. I walked over to male hostess and Chessie requesting to be seated....Per Chessie "I only have 1 waiter available and corporate policy states there must be 2 when we have a large party" (Poor communication skills) Me: How long do we have to wait for another waiter to arrive? Chessie "they should arrive In 20 minutes....30 minutes passed....Walked over to Chessie and male hostess at 2:15pm stating weve waited over the allotted time...Can we please be seated? Chessie and males hostess "we still dont have adequate staffing give us another 15 to 20 minutes". So I asked Chessie why couldnt she sit us and assist the other waiter (making it 2) until the one thats obviously running late arrived? Her response was "no because shes the only manager there and needed to help out at the bar and oversee the restaurant incase other issues arrive" (duh 1 has now handle it). At this point, Im hungry and pissed because it is absolutely no way in hell I should have had to wait an additional hour to be seated for a family brunch. At 3pm, the hostess walks over to me (Chessie shortly after) and stated they have our tables ready (the other waiter still has not arrived) BUT we cant all sit together". I am now beyond upset because I just waited 2 hours to eat only to be told we can sit together and there will be only 1 waiter. So I began affirm to Chessie how displeased I am on how she handled this entire matter and instead of her being apologetic and showing empathy she asked me leave and called the police because I raised my voice...UNBELIEVABLE...Had she of communicated this me my family and I would have left a lot sooner. Fire her incompetent ass immediately!! For those that care about our outcome...We ended up going to Cajun Corner in Pantego, Tx (10 minutes away). We were all seated together/immediately, The food was delicious and the service was excellent. More importantly, we only had 1 waitress (Vivian)

Went a week ago on Sunday. We sat at the bar and out waitress was very nice and helped us out with the menu. The shrimp was good & the calamari was actually really good. The female manager was nice & friendly...and another manager I believe came to the table, a male, he was nice as well. Staff that walked by was very nice, smiling....ALL of them! (I liked that). Taking my parents for dinner tonight...lets see how the dinner rush is. Went for dinner. Walked in to a man holding the door, politely said thank you and he just had a mean mug and ignore 4 people sayin thank you. Was greeted by the host and two other girls, asked to sit at a table for 4, two of us sat down while the other two waited at the door because I forgot we had one more person meeting us, so the other person and I walked back to the host table and asked for a bigger table because it was 5 not 4, we got the meanest look from 2 of the girls. We apologize and said thank you for seating us. Got seated at a table for 4 and they just pulled up another chair...weird. I asked for the grilled shrimp again, I dont eat the other stuff, and they told me I could not get the same plate I got last week because they dont make it, I stated I had it before and they said no. They said the best they could do was give me a side order of grilled shrim, 6 pc, and an order of fries, I said okay because no point of arguing. The shrimp tasted great, but I ended up paying for two different things when I could have paid for one meal. Not sure why they told me they couldnt substitute breaded shrimp for grilled shrimp last time but couldnt this time. We got seated in the back and the staff stood by the glass doors, we sat right next to it, and gossiped about other staff members. Not very nice. A male came to the table not sure if he was a manager but just said hello hows it going and walked off. Wierd. I think they should have a dress code when it comes to how short they wear shorts. Some of the girls did not look flattering with mini shorts and everything hanging out. Im all for good outfits but dont show everything, its mostly familys that go in. So I was not happy with the 2nd visit. The waitress was nice and kept our drinks filled but got so confused when asked if she could split one meal off the ticket...it was catfish and a water...she asked like 5x which meal (I even asked her for a pen and she said shed remember....ha) Most likely not going back. First rated a 5...if anything id go back on a Sunday afternoon....when its dead.

We came to this location for a birthday at 6:00 on a Tuesday. We asked the hostess if we could sit outside. She asked a passing server if it was open, so we just said wed just sit inside, no big deal, She asked how many were in our party twice and still sat us with an extra chair. Also, no big deal. I watched a table get sat a few minutes after us. I watched their server stop eating his food in the closed section, greet them and bring them drinks. He and several other servers passed by us and didnt say a word, didnt nod, wave, NOTHING. We were "greeted" (acknowledged) 10 minutes after we were sat at our table. 10 literal minutes. Our server asked if we had been helped and we said no, she said shed take our drink order first and we thanked her genuinely. She came back with our drinks and seemed upset and was being really short and not at all personable so we asked if she was having a hard day? She replied with a half mumbled "no ,well yeah" answer. So my mom told her with an upbeat tone that it would get better. She did an okay job after that. It still seemed like everyone else was bringing us our food/drinks. A supervisor came by and my mom asked to speak to the manager. The manager came by as we were in the middle of eating our (very messy!!) meal and she asked that he return after we had eaten. We waited a while after the tab was paid, but he never returned so we left. I wont be back. The food was good, but not so good that Ill put up with people who are doing a crummy job. Several servers passed our drink-less table and saw that we were looking at them with pleading eyes Servers are tipped employees because they are supposed to enhance peoples evenings out. If i just didnt want to cook, id order a pizza. Dallas/Matt- The restaurant was less than half full when we came in. The dinner rush started later. Maybe having extra staff on hand earlier (or a manager available, walking around) would remedy this issue. Too much business should never be a problem and in my opinion and this wasnt the issue during our visit. I hope you take this into consideration so it doesnt happen again. Like i said before, the food was very good and i see how this place could be REALLY fun to visit.Thanks for your response.
