We could not believe how amazing everything was... We tried this place on a whim - SO GLAD we did, its my new favorite restaurant. Our server Janavia was friendly and helpful, we had a lot of fun talking with her and getting her recommendations. The bartender fixed delicious beverages while a manager brought out a "welcome wagon" sampler since we had never been here before. The idea of oyster nachos didnt sound appealing but they were actually amazing, I look forward to getting them next time and I never would have known how much Id like them if not for that sample. The soups were all delicious, it was hard to pick a favorite... My husband loved the oysters and said they were absolutely perfect (he used to manage a high end seafood market so he kiiinda knows his stuff!) Theres something to be said about seafood simplicity done right and this place did it right. I got (the most amazing) fish n chips and the portions were generous. I had to get a cup of the clam chowder, it was the best Ive ever tasted. I really wanted to call over people waiting in line at other restaurants nearby like, "dont wait in line there, this place is ridiculous amazing, get over here!" There was no wait to be seated, our food was served within minutes of placing our order and even though we got SO much food, the bill was very reasonable. Seriously, it felt like finding hidden treasure right here in Arlington.

Arrived about 9:02pm was greeted... I advised I would be placing a to go order, was told that the bartender would assist, I was the only one there at this time. Sat down, she finally arrived at 9:08p, by this time 2 other people arrived, 1 guy to my right & 1 to my left. She immediately walked to the guy to my left and started taking his order... I stopped her and said I was here first, she looked and continued to take his order. I called for the manager Crystal, and she walked up with frustration... I told her what took place & the first she was "Well, how would she know?" I immediately said "She should have asked, Who was here first, then advised she would be right with them." She immediately snapped back telling me shes sorry shes worried about calling someone because her ac went out as if my concern was not important smh!!! Never again and Im writing a review about this Ive dined here a few times but just this one time makes me never want me to come back again

03/16/2012 First time going..... never going back. Once we got to the restaurant, my wife and were not greeted. The person up front tells it will take 5 to 10 mins to be seated. Then I figured that there is no waiting lounge. Either you stayed outside or get in everybodys way near the front door. We waited for 30mins before we were seated. Our waiter Omar service was so bad, he ignored us for about 10 or 15mins before he came to our table. Omar was trying to take our order but was too busy goofing around with the other table. We had to repeat our order three times before he wrote it down. Then we waited for 30mins to get the food. Omar did not come back until dropped off the bill. No drink refill. Worst place ever.

Our server Samuel was very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the crab cake and spicy shrimp as an appetizer which were both really good, enough to share between 2 people. Our main course consisted of fish tacos (good and large portion), fried catfish (also good and fried not too soft or hard, just right), the blackened chicken with andouille sausage over red beans and rice hit my hungry spot. I cant forget the grilled veggies were surprisingly my favorite. Last but not least the bartender was no rookie, the cocktails were on the money...I forgot to compliment him, and Im actually going back to do just that.

Crab legs no cracker! Welp, I just left the Arlington Highlands location. I ordered the crab legs. When they arrived, I politely (I make it my business to always be cordial and tip at least 20%), asked for a cracker in order to open and eat the crab. She rudely told me itll be three or four minutes because they are being cleaned. Huh? It was a maximum of ten people total in the restaurant and obviously my steamed crab legs would be cold by then. Its the equilavent of being served a steak minus the steak knife. Please get it together - Fish City - Arlington Highlands, TX location. I now understand why the place was nearly empty.

The bill was over $70 for a very subpar lunch. Yep you heard that right... Over $70 for 2 people. I had the wild Alaskan salmon which was over cooked. My wife has the Salmon cakes and ranchero rice. The cakes were okay but the rice was AWFUL. The rice was casual Bens rice, under cooked with a can of stewed tomatoes added. They were runny and kinda looked like mush. And these were the specials! The waitress was pleasant but she had to keep reading the boards to tell us about the specials... As we could also do. She didnt know their menu. You can do much better for quality seafood in Tarrant county. Sorry Fish City.

OMG! Upon arrival there were no hostess, had to wait ten minutes. The place need to be sanitized and staff should be taught cleanliness. There were four in our party and the dinner salad and the soup came at the same time as the meal. Really! They give you lots of cold fries and very little seafood on the platters. The coleslaw is horrible and the tomatoes on our salads were not fresh. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Good atmosphere. Good wait staff. Great locations. Bad food. I have eaten all over Towns of dfw, this is the worse tasting food I have experience in a while. This restaurant needs to fire the head chef and a get a new manager. My $19 sword fish plate taste like rubber, no flavor, no juice, very dried. My gumbo taste like salt, old tomato, combined with frozen okra. This restaurant wont last until next year.!!!

Food is delicious and service from Jacinta, our waitress, was excellent. She recommended the honey Chipotle tacos and they were awesome. Wednesday special is the oyster nachos for $6. They were individual nachos of fried oyster topped with tomatoes relish. Come try this place. You will not be disappointed.

excellent food far better than their location in flower mound, sit at the bar the service is always awesome. All the bartenders remember me by name, something rarely found in service industry anymore. Crab bisque is the best ive had anywhere ever and the all you can eat catfish on Mondays is fantastic.

Nice little restaurant. Went on Friday evening & it wasnt too busy. I ordered a drink and crab cakes and fried pickles (dont judge me). The crab cake wasnt lump but it has a good taste. The pickles were good too just a little too salty. My waitress was so sweet & attentive. Great service & decent food.

Ordered a cup of gumbo and the small fried catfish plate. Everything was ok but the catfish was not crispy at all was soggy with oil and was absolutely tasteless. The breading had no taste and surprisingly enough so was the actual fish. Dont think Ill be back just because the food was so meh.
